This Hotel is awful and not as described on their website! It is a two-star at best. Rooms are extremely tiny, an award should be given to their photographer. First, the spa is closed (failed to mention but continue to advertise "one of the few hotels with a full-service spa"). Second, the room says it fits 3-4, this barely fits one person. Third, "Spacious balcony", even Paris hotels have more spacious balconies, this is barely a balcony. Fourth, and the best one, for the 3-4 person "bedroom", not even a bathtub. Stay away, not worth the price point, there is a reason most of their rooms are nonrefundable! This is supposed to be the Queen suite with a "spacious" balcony 350 dollars per night, pictures tell all (they wouldn't upload on website, find them on ggl). Location is nice though.

We stayed here as a a family of 5 in the Summer holidays. Two adults and three children we had two linked rooms which worked out very well with the three children sharing a room. We requested a room facing the courtyard so it was really quiet. The rooms were good and modern with everything we needed. There was an option to book the pool. Best of all were the hotel breakfasts. A fantastic selection of everything you could possibly want, really good quality, fresh food and so much choice we were really spoilt! The hotel is in a great location just a short walk from the tram stop and right in the centre of this lovely city. If we ever return to Bergen we will definitely come back here. A great place for families.

Excellent location - just one block away from the light rail terminus. Check in itself was quick but be prepared for a queue during peak tourist season. Room was clean on arrival with standard amneties as listed on the website. Housekeeping comes by daily to clean up and replenish supplies. Staff were all friendly, conversant in English and Norwegian. Room service available for breakfast only. Intercontinental breakfast was great with a wide selection of international and local fare. TV channels was slightly lacking but no complaints as I'm mostly out. Soundproofing may not be the best for lower floor rooms next to bars that open till wee hours, so do check in with reception if that's an issue. Check out was quick but again be prepared for a queue during peak season.

Loved our stay at Hotel Norge! You honestly cannot get a better location for exploring Bergen. The rooms are clean, modern, and very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing – so much choice! The staff were great too. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the city.

What a wonderful spot located centrally in Bergen’s city centre. A short walk from the train station, waterfront, and key tourist attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and quick to sort out a tiny issue we had at check-in. The room was spacious, with good amenities and a lovely view of the central square. Bathroom was a good size, nice toiletries and clean. While the room was relatively cool in the 28° summer heat, it might benefit from having a fan placed on the desk for added air circulation. Otherwise, a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bergen!

You could not find a better location. I booked a small room and was expecting a closet sized room, to my surprise it's was roomy (very well designed, high quality furniture and linens). Web based requests didn't work and front desk staff seemed inexperienced or overwhelmed, although it's was fairly quiet when I checked in.

Without a doubt some of the best breakfast buffet I have had Great location The room was lovely, with the only confusing thing was the heat and cool in the room. It did not seem to cool the room. We tried to make it cooler but were unable to. The bed was sooo comfy and the individual comforter was a nice but a little good at capturing my heat

We stayed at the Hotel Norge for 4 nights in early September. The hotel itself was fine - our room was compact but was what we’d requested when we made the booking via Trailfinders (‘basic’) and had all we needed.||The breakfast selection was quite something - a very impressive selection available every morning, which was most enjoyable. All the staff we dealt with and spoke to were lovely and very helpful/friendly.||But…||I have to mention the noise at night. We were in room 821, and were kept awake for the first three of our four nights by very loud thumping bass/music from a nearby bar/club. On researching this upon our return home I can see that more than a few others had similar experiences. ||If you like your sleep I’d have to say avoid :o(

Yelp
If you like staying in dark, dingy hotel accommodations that reek of cigarette smoke and have only 3 outlets, one by the bed, one in the hallway and one in the bathroom, and your only lighting option of all over head lights on or none at all this is the place for you. But not for me. Never again.

Yelp
Opulent new hotel in the centre of Bergen. Great vibe through-out the hotel. The staff look happy to be there. The breakfast spread is extensive and is included with the room. The rooms are well-equipped though mine was cramped (depends on the one you get). My room's window looked directly into the office building next door. You won't get much privacy with just the sheer curtains alone. You'll likely need to keep your curtains permanently closed if you like your privacy. Consider that when you choose your room. Others in my group had better views. The bar downstairs is fantastic. The two bartenders on the night I went down were extremely fun to chat with and the cocktails were made to perfection. Cheers!

Yelp
I would rather sleep in the street than this hotel. There is no AC or air circulation without the heater running so if you're here in the summer time get used to sleeping in a sauna. There is no computer or printer for guests to use so if you're here in business, stuff a printer in your luggage. Have a lot of data on your phone plan too because the wifi doesn't work. Breakfast starts at 7am, so unless you're here in vacation expect to travel back across the world without anything to eat. The iron in the room is heat only, so you get to iron your clothes the way our ancestors did, a hot rock. Street outside is very loud at night. They should rename this place Hotel No. That's all you're going to hear from the front desk. Rooms are tiny, smallest I've ever seen. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.

Yelp
We stayed three nights at this location at the start of a Viking Ocean trip. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. It is in a central location and walking distance to the port area and shopping. They had a very good breakfast. The location is very safe so we were pleased with our stay.

Yelp
The hotel is really nice! Great staff, conveniently located to shops and restaurants. Beds are extremely comfortable. I'd definitely go back.

Yelp
Recently stayed here at the end of the Viking Cruise. First the good. The breakfast is one of the nicest I have ever had. The bed was comfortable and the location was great. Now the not so good. The room was bizarre. No closet. Two drawer dresser with one drawer filled with a safe. Took us awhile to find the light switch. It was hidden behind the ironing board. The bathroom was designed by a mad man. There was only a partial glass enclosure for the shower so the whole room gets wet. Be sure to watch a YouTube video to figure out how to use the shower. It had the most confusing set up I have ever seen. I would not stay here again.
