We booked this hotel for two nights in order to have an extra night in Burgos as we were on the Camino de Santiago. The hotel is well positioned in the centre of the old town and is a good looking building on the outside. The interior of the property is traditional in style and well appointed clean with a lift to the various floors. The receptionist staff were very helpful and kind and the rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were appointed. The breakfast were simple but very tasty. We had a medical emergency whilst we were there and the staff very kindly lent us a wheelchair so that we could spend some time exploring the city. We are very grateful for this. We would definitely stay at this hotel next time we are in Burgos. Thank you.

Great location in the old town, a short walk from bars and restaurants and the cathedral etc. Friendly staff at reception. Good recommendations for local pintxos bars. clean room and bathroom, if quite basic. Also fairly basic breakfast, but can’t complain for the price. If driving park in the underground Plaza Espana car park first, because the hotel is in a pedestrian zone you cannot drive into.

No A/C at all, even though opening the window was a very good idea. At night is very cool. And very loud around the area.

Good location. nice but dated room. Fantastic shower. Very helpfull pleasant staff and somewhere to keep my bike. Not worth the £134 i paid. The breakfast was the poorest of my trip. No scrambled eggs or bacon, nothing hot unless you include unlimited coffee and cheap white sliced bread in a toaster. Croissant like most of the pastry, fresh out of the plastic bag.

The place is very special - lots of century-old details and decor. Price - value. But! They need to take better care of it or it will be lost. It gives the impression of an old place with history that is now being run as is, as a cheaper central stay, without enough care for the place sadly. There are amazing details that need care.

This hotel was decent, but not what I was expecting. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was ok, beds were also not great and the floor was really squeaky. Overall an ok hotel, with an excellent location in the center of town.

Traditional, friendly and family-run hotel in a central location. Comfortable and with all amenities yet like going back in time as the hotel has so much character. Easy walking distance from bus and train stations. A friendly welcome and a greeting whenever we passed reception. Plenty of places to eat nearby and also a small supermarket. Not particularly quiet, as people roaming the streets throughout the night, but that is offset by the central location and good double glazing.

Visited in July 2023. One thing I hated so much was the parking. You have to park away from the hotel AND caution with your roof box!! because the parking height is small. It gave us soo much stress. We were able to get inside but when we wanted to leave, there were certain floors that had a low ceiling. The parking overnight stay price (about 19€) got discounted off due to the hotel giving us a paper for it (about 13.60€) Staff could have been more friendly but there were ok. The room was spacious for 3 people and a dog but floor creaks and the super small TV seemed to only have one local channel. Toilet was very nice and I like to open the window and it seemed like a cute tiny balcony. Not much to choose from breakfast but I liked it anyway.

Yelp
What an amazing location, right on the Camino! And such friendly staff! Also, there is a bathtub! What a blessing for poor, tired and weary feet that have been pounded upon day and night by the hard and unforgiving grounds of the Camino! And what a lovely city Burgos is! I highly recommend this hotel if you are on the Camino!
