Super friendly staff. The check-in was quick. Rooms are about what you'd expect for a small town. Nothing spectacular, but they were extremely clean...the bedding smelled fresh. Television worked. Note - the bottle water in the fridge is NOT complimentary. They charge $2.50/bottle. The location is excellent. It is located just on the outskirts of the military base, which means the hotel is only a 4 minute drive. Tim Hortons and the gas station is 2 minutes away. A&W is 1 minute. I'm not sure if other hotel options exist in the area but regardless I'd stay here again.

Very friendly and quick service. Room was clean and organized, bed was comfortable. It was quiet, relaxing and cozy. Myla especially made me feel incredibly welcome, she was helpful calling the cab company back right away when I noticed I left my wallet in the taxi. She also made for great conversation the next morning while I was waiting for a ride to the airport.

Light by the bed had a 120v outlet but it stopped working then the light went out. Clean room. The refrigerator was larger than most with a small freezer. The shower was good with a deep tub. There were plenty of 120v outlets. There were only two sets of towels but enough for the two of us for 1 night. There is a restaurant next door that was fair. Paved parking lot.

It shouldn’t take this long to check into a room. Everyone in the room had to show ID. Including the 2 and 4 year old. After a long day and kids crying plus one with vomit all over them, we had to try and find their ID. Never been to a place that the two adults had to show ID. And it didn’t matter anyway because they had my last name spelt incorrectly so it didn’t match my ID.

Very basic hotel with small nice simple rooms but without any facilities. No breakfast unless you go next door to the local bar that I believe is also owned by the same people as the hotel. Ok hotel for one night on the road. Do not sleep on ground floor if you are noise sensitive

We had a pleasant stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The staff was friendly. Bed was great. We just had nachos and beer at the attached restaurant, the Mariners, but it was nice. The hotel is close to Tim Hortons, a gas and convenience, and right en route.

Very poor service. I booked over the phone in advance and when I showed up to get my room they told me nothing was available.

For 217 dollars this place is a complete rip off, there're no amenities AND you have to pay for the bottled water in the fridge. Completely ridiculous. Good thing I won't be planning on coming back to Happy Valley Goose Bay.

Yelp
Decent accommodations right close to the Airport. Jungle Jims is co-located with Hotel North 1 which is convenient. Free WiFi and my Fridge actually keeps things cold. Walls are kind of thin and it took three separate keys given to me before one would unlock my door. Probably not a common issue but kind of annoying regardless. I would stay here again.
