Hotel Nox Ljubljana

What an amazing bunch of staff! Very helpful, goes out of the way to help, each and everyone! Special mention to all the receptionists and bar staff including the lady with curly hair and golden rounded glasses, apologies for not asking the names. Highly recommended, will stay again.

One of the most delightful surprises of our month-long trip to Croatia and Slovenia was our stay at the Hotel Nox in the capital city of Ljubljana, Slovenia. This modern establishment boasted 24-hour front desk and restaurant staff, a delightful free breakfast for guests, spacious rooms, free parking, and was exceptionally clean. Having traveled extensively worldwide, it was truly a treat to encounter a hotel with unique rooms offering numerous decor options for guests. A significant bonus was the rare luxury of meeting friendly and competent employees. Among them was a young woman named Špela.||Špela, who ran the restaurant, was the most competent, multilingual, and friendly representative for the Hotel Nox that anyone could have ever imagined.||The hotel management should be aware that they have a superstar employee whose warmth and intelligence elevate this wonderful establishment into a “must-stay” hotel when visiting the capital of Slovenia - Ljubljana.||Comments from US visitors Paul and Patricia

We stayed in the Big Moose Room. It was so beautiful and elegant. Wood everywhere. The heated floor in the bathroom was a nice surprise. The staff were great. They did everything to make our stay exceptional. I can't recommend this hotel enough. Oh, the breakfast was wonderful too.

We stayed here for our first visit to Slovenia and this place was very impressive overall. The staff were really friendly and helpful - we were given a map of the city and information about the buses on arrival which was very useful to get us started on our trip. The room was very comfortable, the bed was roomy and the mattress was the perfect firmness. The bathroom was nice and modern and the shower was very powerful. The aircon was a bit weak and could do with upgrading, but we weren't too hot while we were staying there. The bar area was very nice to chill and have some drinks and the service was always prompt. We hadn't realised prior to booking that the hotel did not serve evening meals, but this was not too much of an issue as we ordered take out using the Wolt app and went out for meals in the city. The breakfast selection was outstanding and we really enjoyed the mini pastries and the fresh coffee. There is also a Lidl right next to the hotel which was very handy for snacks and toiletries if needed. The bus into the city was just outside the hotel and was very cheap (just €1.30 into the city centre) and only took around 15 minutues. It was a great way to see the area and they ran every 20 mins or so. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to others. A big thank you to all of the hotel staff who made us feel very welcome and made our trip very smooth.

Fabulous hotel. Fabulous service. I stayed in the Big Moose room and enjoyed every second. Understated elegance. The huge tub was too inviting to pass up and the bubble bath was even provided. Also the heated floor in the bathroom was a delight.

There are many good things about this hotel, it’s comfortable, clean, modern, many choices on the included breakfast including eggs to order, the A/C is cold, the mini bar complimentary, and on the lower side of price for this city. But the best thing is the staff!!!|I have stayed in about forty hotels in the last six months and the staff here is as helpful and friendly as any. |I arrived late at night after traveling for almost two days without sleep and about at the end of my rope. Nic checked me in, found me a sandwich, as I had not eaten, was so welcoming. I had a great first impression. |During my stay Arnes helped me a dozen times. Understand the bus lines, recommending food and things to see. Zan did the same each morning as I headed out. I hope their management understands how far this goes with foreign tourists out of their comfort zone. The rest of the staff, kitchen, housekeeping were also good I just didn’t get any names. I would definitely recommend this hotel. ||I would tell other travelers that the location is about a 20 min bus ride to city center. This is not a big problem as the number 1 bus stops right in front of the hotel and only cost 1.30 euros. This is not a property you can walk to town, in spite of Ljubljana being a relatively small city.

Place worth to visit. Great personel and you have all services what you ask. Rooms are nice and comfortable. Every single room is different and have some story behind (positive vibes) I’ll be back soon

1 night |Room for 3 |Easy accessible from the Lubiana ring roads , fairly clean rooms ( despite the remote control for the TV that was disgustingly dirty) . Rooms are warm , specious and the free non alcoholic minibar is surely a plus.|Personnel is extremely friendly and speaks a good level of English .|Breakfast is a bit average , both in cold and hot offers ( please change the poor pineapple in the fruit offer).|Surely a place we could go back to for a stop over night .
