Hotel Nuevo Torreluz Almeria

We sfayed for 1 night at this hotel. We booked a superior room which was quite basic but clean and with noisy air conditioning. There was a safe and a bar/fridge. Car parking was remote from the hotel in a farage. There was a seat with a statue of John Lennon outside the hotel.

Great service & attention to detail by all front line staff. (Incl. Reception, House Keeping, Bar/Restaurant). Nothing is ever a problem. * Wifi comes and goes...so if high speed or work needed to be performed relying on fast speed not so convenient. Other than that - Excellent service, super friendly staff and highly recommended. Great centrally located hotel.

Have stayed here previously and gave it a glowing review, which is why I rebooked. However this time not so good. Shown first room- small room tiny window poor outlook, requested a change, manager not terribly happy asked another member of staff to show me another room, again small, tiny window around a corner. I was given the option to upgrade at a cost of €12 which gave me a nicer room. Requested a taxi to be booked to the airport for following day. Staff in morning not very helpful or polite at reception. Will not stay here again.

Location is really good, service is ok. The food served at breakfast is terrible, don't bother wasting your money, great cafes around the corner. The worst thing about our stay by a long way was the NOISE. Massive amounts of banging and clattering, earth shattering pounding of a hammer at 9 o'clock in the morning, people running up and down corridors with suitcases... The list goes on. If I had the choice I would stay somewhere else next time, I feel 2 stars is being kind to this "4 star hotel".

The hotel is a good pick, if you lower your expectations. I wouldn't call this a 4 star hotel. With this hotel you should set your expectations to a 3 star hotel. The personnel is very helpful and kind and the location is great. But the rooms are noisy and the beds are uncomfortable. The rooms also lack standard 4-star hotel amenities such as a kettle or coffee machine. Breakfast is decent. Bewaren that you can't access the roof without paying in advance!

Great location. The hotel is spotless and well set out. Comfortable beds, good sized rooms. Plenty of relaxing space with comfy chairs/ couches. The solarium has a jacuzzi and sun loungers, and a steam room... you have to book if you want to use it (towels and door pass from reception). Also, let them know when you are about to go in as they will need to switch the steam room on!| Underground parking a few minutes round the corner is essential as no street parking is available. The bar next door ( part of the hotel) is ideal for tapas/snacks/ meals, and the waiter (Kevin) is so lovely and helpful !|Italian restaurant across the road is worth a visit too. Places of interest within a few minutes walk and shops round the corner. |

Reception man was really un polite and didn’t want to find solution for the parking. It was many empty places for the bikes. We were 6 persons at late evening. Very sad that such person works at reception.

Great Value Hotel! Nice and spacious rooms.

My wife and I stayed at Nuevo Torreluz for 4 nights. The room was very comfortable, air conditioned, and quiet. The hotel staff very accommodating, polite, and helpful. The breakfast buffet ample and included with the room price. The various hotel restaurant have excellent food and drink. The locals eat there so they see the quality & value. The hotel is right near el centro of Almeria for shopping not to mention the Alcazaba for history. We will be back.
