Hotel Nydeck

Very comfy hotel – Highly recommended! We stayed for 2 days and enjoyed it so much! The location is the BEST – right in the center of the city, on a beautiful historical street. It was amazing discovering Bern from here. We stayed in room 44, which was very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Special thanks to Eminem she was amazing! Her treatment, attention, and professionalism went above and beyond our expectations. So friendly, always smiling, and always willing to help or support us. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this hotel – 100%!

Sunday's is difficult as it is with places being closed all around. However, this place was open, simple, and delicious. The waiter was super nice, and we had 9 people which they happily accommodated (where others did not).

The Hotel's location is very good. It's right on the verge of the Old Town, which you can sightsee on foot. You can park your car next to hotel to drop off your luggage and then park in the nearby Rathaus city parking few minutes away from the hotel. The hotel is run by a very nice family. The staff was very helpful and kind. We could communicate in English without any problems. They made sure that everything was fine. Breakfast was surprisingly filling and if you still were hungry you could ask for a second helping.

The food was amazing! Really good atmosphere in lovely Bern, Switzerland! Service was superb and our waiter was very courteous and polite. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good food in Bern!

It was a great experience with nice views. The hotel is situated in a place near old bern town that gives you access to nice views and places within walking distance. Had a proper nights sleep provided fans and coolers since it was hot 🔥 as we stayed during summer 🌞. Friendly Staff and Tasty breakfast. Recommended to stay here if you visit Bern-Swiss🇨🇭

Great location. Simple rooms on the small side. Clean. A bit noisy intersection, which is a factor in warm weather as you'll want a window open at night.

We tried the restaurant. The service is a bit slow. They charge for the plates separately (CHF 1 for each plate). We tried pizza, pasta, and focaccia. The pasta had too much oil. The focaccia and pizza were also okay compared to other places we had in Switzerland.
