Hotel Oasia Aarhus (Aarhus, Denmark) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"After a day’s sightseeing or shopping, you will be happy to head back to this well-kept hotel in a more peaceful area of the city. Bright, uncluttered bedrooms offer good facilities; go for the four-poster room or one of the 'design' rooms." - Tablet Hotels

Our stay was very pleasant and we would definitely recommend this hotel. We received a very friendly and warm welcome from the reception staff. The rooms are beautifully furnished and very comfortable to sleep in. The location is ideal for exploring the city. Many attractions and excellent restaurants are within walking distance. The breakfast is varied and of excellent quality. Many thanks to the Oasia team for a wonderful stay in Aarhus.

The hotel is incrediby clean and the staff are very friendly. Their lounge was a welcomed addition because I was there with colleagues and it gave us a nice spot to meet every evening. The rooms are all a good size and the beds were comfortable. I found the pillows a bit 'flat' but really that is the ontly critique I would make. ||||The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the train station in Aarhus and about 10 to 15 minutes walk to the museums and center of Aarhus. There are some great restaurants nearby. Overall I found Hotel Oasia Aarhus to be a great hotel, expecially for business and I would indeed return.

Overall this was a very clean and tidy hotel. Centrally located and only 10 minute walk from train station. Very helpful front desk staff and 24 hour reception. Excellent breakfast. Backs onto train lines but windows seem to block out noise. My only complaint was no safe, fridge or coffee facilities in the room which I think most travellers expect. 24 hour coffee machine in communal area does make nice coffee

Rooms are nice and spacious, beds are comfortable and breakfast was good! Breakfast options are not huge but all freshly (home)made and good. Coffee could be better. Location wise also good, lots of restaurants within walking distance. Good value for money option

Google
Nice looking and well decorated hotel! Rooms are small but okay enough for a short stay. Only downside was the smelly showercurtain. The breakfast was very good, enough options and great quality. Service and check in were good, attentive people. There's a few parking spots in the courtyard, but you have to order beforehand. Very close to the station and amazing location overall to visit Aarhus by foot or bike.

Clean room with very comfortable beds and well functioning air condition. Very nice and welcoming staff. Breakfast, however, was disappointing. The coffee was watery and didn’t taste good (plus we had to stand in line at the slow machines). The orange juice was definitely not orange juice. We missed plain yoghurt and a selection of fruit (only melon was provided).

Google
Only positives for me: breakfast is amazing, bed was comfortable, reception staff is nice. But the shower curtains stink terribly - a sign of not being washed for a while. The rooms are tiny for the price paid. And there was a filthy spot (see picture) on the duvet cover - another sign of negligent maintenance. The walls and floor had marks. But the reception staff was very nice and helpful.

Yelp
We stayed at Hotel Oasia for one night on our way through Denmark. The service was impeccable and our room was very spacious. Great shower and AC. Parking can seem daunting if the hotels lot is full, but we were easily able to find city parking directly behind the hotel for about 150dkk per day. There is a nice hotel bar and restaurant which we made use of both days. The gym is fully equipped. We definitely would stay here again!

Yelp
Super MEH. The photos looked so much better than the room was. Entering the room, I was suddenly transported to my college dorm days. The space was tiny, the walls were thin, the bathroom was the size of a closet and hot AF. There was no thermostat adjustment available in the room. I was very sorry I didn't look harder for a hotel in Aarhus. If I were a solo traveler or looking for something super cheap and cheerful, then maybe it wouldn't seem so bad, but as a place to stay on vacation with my husband, not so much. On the upside, I think breakfast was included and we happened to be there on a night that they offered free wine and tapas. We wished we had remembered to ask about the bikes we would have loved to rent. Parking is cheaper inside their courtyard than the paid parking out in front, fyi.

Yelp
I stayed in this property for 2 nights. Check in was quick and efficient. The person who checked me in was friendly and answered all my questions. I was a bit concerned (due to the potential noise) about the room I was assigned since it was on the first floor and on the train track side. The front desk agent sensed this and she took the time to show me my room and how it had double-paned glass and an additional window panel to close off the double-paned glass windows. Needless to say, I was embarrassed about my concerns as the room was totally quiet. I had no problems sleeping. The bed was very comfortable and the room itself was in very good repair and very clean. My concerns about potential train noise was all for nothing as you would not even know that there were train tracks close by. If anything, the only complaint I had was that the room did not have a proper closet, safe, and iron/ironing board. However, in the overall scheme of things, all very minor concerns. If you are traveling in the summer, you should know that there is an air-conditioning unit in the room unlike most European hotels. Since it is still winter time as I am writing this review, I cannot vouch for how well it works but it is definitely nice to know that the unit is there. I was also pleasantly surprised with the breakfast buffet (included in the hotel rate). There was a full selection of hot and cold breakfasts, e.g., scrambled eggs (real eggs and not the powdered eggs that you find in cheap hotels), bacon, sausages, different breads, cheese, meats, cereal, danishes, hard-boiled eggs, assorted fruits and vegetables, etc. There was also a cappuccino machine, fruit juices, and water available. Check out is at 11.00. Since I still had to meet friends for brunch, the front desk attendant gladly stored my baggage in a secure area in the front desk office. Only front desk staff has access to this area. Overall, this is a great find both in quality and pricing. It is a short walk from the train station and the city's Strøget and attractions. If you don't want to walk, there's a taxi stand in front of the station as well as buses. I would highly recommend this property to anyone traveling to Århus.

Yelp
We read only very positive reviews online. The hotel is very central and everything is reachable by foot. The breakfast is excellent, however the rooms are a little 'rusty' could be cleaner and are pretty small. Overall it looks better than it is online, but it's not horrible.

Yelp
I stayed at Oasia in December '16 for one night. Very central location, and we liked the renovated rooms. It's fantastic that parking is available on site. Breakfast was excellent with many unusual items and a cappuccino machine. Room price was reasonable. The hotel is close to the train station, but we had no problem with noise. I would definitely stay again!
