Unfortunately, our stay at Oasis Praiamar Hotel has been extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the staff have been consistently rude and unhelpful.
We had a leak in our original room and were moved, but the problems didn’t end there. The hotel is nothing like the pictures online — it is very outdated and poorly maintained. The bathrooms are particularly bad: yellow-stained toilets, broken toilet flushes, and a strong smell of urine. These maintenance issues were all reported to reception, but nothing was properly resolved.
Hygiene is a serious concern. We found mouse droppings in the breakfast area, and there were cockroaches present, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel, especially one serving food.
Facilities advertised by the hotel are misleading. The gym area is non-functional yet still advertised, which adds to the overall feeling that everything about this hotel is falsely represented.
Around the hotel there are clear signs of neglect: broken pool loungers, no ice available, and rude behaviour from staff at the poolside as well as in general areas of the hotel.
We also spoke directly with the manager regarding these issues but were offered no solution. The response was dismissive and completely lacking in concern, which was extremely disappointing given the seriousness of the complaints.
On top of this, our sleep was interrupted due to loud hotel maintenance noise, which is unacceptable for a place that is meant to offer comfort and rest.
Overall, the hotel is misleading, poorly maintained, unhygienic, and the level of customer service is extremely poor. I would not recommend staying here.
