The staff was very polite and helpful. However, the overall stay was quite disappointing due to several issues. The first room (305) had a bathroom leakage, so we were moved to another room (306), which smelled unpleasant. Later, we were shifted again to room 309. Unfortunately, this room also had problems — cockroaches were everywhere, the bedsheets didn’t seem washed, and there were no basic amenities like a kettle or shampoo.
The ac problem was eventually fixed when the staff came. The rooms were poorly maintained and felt like basic budget accommodation. On the second day, the ceiling fan started making a loud noise, and at night, the AC began spitting water and producing strange sounds.
The hotel doesn’t provide lunch or dinner facilities, and though breakfast was complimentary, it wasn’t very tasty. The only positive points were its location near the Vivekananda Memorial and the rooftop view for sunrise and sunset.
There was also a serious ventilation issue — the windows were locked, the curtains were dusty, and the room trapped odors easily. We had to keep both the main door and the washroom door open to get some airflow. Overall, the hotel’s location is good, but maintenance and cleanliness need major improvement.
