Hotel Ocean South Beach

rom the moment I arrived at Hotel Ocean on South Beach, I knew I was in for something special. The location is unbeatable, but what truly made my experience unforgettable was the incredible service, especially from Brittani. Brittani went above and beyond in every possible way. She greeted me with genuine warmth, offered amazing local recommendations, and made sure every detail of my stay was perfect. It's rare to meet someone so professional yet personable—she truly made me feel like a VIP. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed with a cozy beach vibe. I had a balcony overlooking Ocean Drive, which made for the perfect place to unwind after a day in the sun. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the in-room amenities were top-notch. If you're heading to South Beach and want the perfect mix of luxury, location, and personal touch, Hotel Ocean is the place to be. And trust me—ask for Brittani. She’s the kind of person who turns a good vacation into a great one.

The hotel is perfectly situated in South Beach, has rooms with views of the ocean, a great restaurant, and a helpful and supportive staff. Especially helpful were Dafne and Brittany, which helped with preparations of my room for a surprise gift for my partner before arrival. The entire experience helped make for a great trip to Miami.

I came to Miami to celebrate my 29th birthday and decided to stay at the Ocean South Beach Hotel. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The bed was dirty, full of hair, and stained. I requested new sheets, but to my shock, the replacement sheets were in the same filthy condition. This is unacceptable for any hotel, especially one in such a prime location. My stay was ruined by the lack of cleanliness and basic hygiene standards.

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Ocean during Swim Week and it was hands-down one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. The hotel hosted an incredible fashion show that drew over 250 people—the runway was absolutely stunning, featuring Luxuri models walking in some jaw-dropping designs. The fashion show itself was an event in itself, and we just happened to be staying at the hotel during it! The whole experience was nothing short of epic. The Italian food at the restaurant was phenomenal—seriously, the pasta and truffle dishes were next level. The cocktails were strong and perfectly crafted, which definitely added to the lively atmosphere. Every guest we spoke with couldn’t stop raving about the food and drinks. As for the hotel itself, the service was exceptional. The front desk was open 24/7, which made everything super convenient. Daily housekeeping was available, and the room was always clean and well-maintained—Kayra, the housekeeper, really went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We also used the wellness concierge to help book some after-party activities, and they were so helpful in accommodating our requests for transportation and event bookings. All in all, the combination of impeccable service, amazing food, and the spectacular fashion show made for a memorable stay. If you’re looking for the best location during Swim Week, Hotel Ocean is the place to be!

This is my second time staying at the hotel and I love it. The location is great, and its clean!! Barbie is so friendly, accommodating and memorable! I remember her from last year, and was happy to see a familiar smiling face when we returned!!

We got to our room at night and found the bed sheets full of stains and human hair all around. When asked to be changed was told it was not possible and given new sheets. But the mattress cover was also dirty with brown stains on it. When offered another room, the bed sheets were full of hair too. We ended up leaving at 1am and looking for a different hotel. Worst experience ever DO NOT stay here unless you want to sleep with stains and hair

Overall it was a great hotel. It’s exactly as the pictures showed and the staff were kind. They also have free water bottles you can get whenever you want in addition to being right across the beach. It does get a little noisy due to the parities but honestly it wasn’t bad at all considering a few blocks down the music was super loud. So I bet the hotels that were next to the super loud music was much more difficult to sleep. Just keep in mind there’s a 20% gratuities added to your bill on any Restaurant. (Not related to the hotel, just some other information)

The hotel is clean with a friendly staff, located directly across the street from the beach and walking distance from many food spots. The hotel itself has a restaurant with a live band performing majority of the evening until about midnight.. it was enjoyable for me, but if you’re looking for quietness at a decent hour this might not be the hotel for you. Only downfalls is there’s no parking, closest lot is a block away and there’s no microwaves in the rooms.
