Rooms are very simple but okay. Parking cost 18 chf a day for outside parking behind the building. A little bit too much. Restaurant Steakhouse has good food. Breakfast is also good.

Nice Room and good customer service :) We went there for skiing/boarding trip. Pros: - They can offer you discounted ski passes (like most hotels in the area) - Great Steakhouse Restaurant on the ground floor (however expensive) - Good bathroom with hot showers:) - Great storage rooms for ski/snowboarding stuff with dedicated entry/exit - Close to Davos Platz train station, bus stops and local amenities - Very close to Jakobshorn Gondola Cons: - No Plates, bowls or basic cutlery available in the room - No fridge (despite cold weather outside having a fridge is useful) - No Wifi - No Microwave or kettle I would recommend - location to amenities, public transport and amenities were the driving factors here :)

We stayed here in February for five nights and I can honestly say we hardly got any sleep during our whole stay. ||||Firstly, we had to change rooms as the first one we were given stank of stale cigarette smoke, the next room appeared fine…..well until the bar downstairs is open….it’s like living above a disco! ||||We complained on two occasions to be told the hotel doesn’t own the bar and basically there’s nothing they could do (or be bothered to do). ||||The breakfast is also disappointing, same day in day out with no variation and after five days becomes tedious.

Don't stay here. There is a bar on the Ground floor that pumps music out till the early hours of the morning. You report this to the hotel management and they simply don't care. Seriously we stayed here for 5 nights and did not get a single decent night of sleep, the noise from the bar is the stuff of nightmares. The bar smokers compound is on the front of the hotel too and people gather here to talk, sing, and shout till the early hours. Spend a little more and stay in a place that cares about its paying guests.

This hotel is a short walk from the train station. It is very clean with reasonable sized rooms by Swiss standards and a very comfortable bed. Check in/out and breakfast is in the adjacent Hotel Oschen but there is a bar on the ground floor here. The staff were friendly & helpful throughout our stay. The views of the stream & mountains from the room was lovely so I recommend you request a rear facing room. Away from too much hustle 7 bustle we enjoyed a quiet stay throughout. There is a nearby supermarket but check its opening times on Sundays. Overall this is a budget friendly, clean option for exploring Davos & its surrounds.

Stayed in one of the updated rooms which was really nice! It felt like an interesting mix between the betong of a warehouse and the wood from a traditional chalet. I liked it a lot. Our room was big and had windows facing the jacobshorn. ||Interesting design of bathroom and shower, as these were placed in the middle of the room with kind of see through walls. I liked it, but I am sure some find it a bit on the extreme side. I would however love to come back. Now I hope that the breakfast will be a bit updated as well. Not the most exiting but ok.

Essentially a motel. No 24 hour concierge available. Room is down to bare necessities. Clean and neat. Takes a long while to warm up in winter. There is a 10 dollar deposit collected in lieu of keycard. Otherwise friendly staff.

We wanted to make some walks and stay a bit longer in Davos. As the old Ochsen was fully booked we ended up in Ochsen 2. It is newer, costs a bit more and is a good modern hotel with nicely decorated rooms. Everything in good and clean shape. It was rather noisy outside and we had to keep the window closed. It got a bit hot as there's no airco. The breakfast and staff are as in old Ochsen, both fine. But the hotel lacked the atmosphere of old Ochsen. Maybe I should come back in twenty years..
