The hotel is well designed, very convenient for walking everywhere, but what made our stay great was how nice the staff all were. The reception guy in the night shift especially. My partner got pretty sick from food poisoning the first night we came, and he helped us a lot during our stay.

The hotel was great. Amazing location, very kind personnel, very clean and convenient room. Only reason for 4 stars is that they do not allow operation of the elevator after midnight (they put out of order sign but I don’t this this is true as in the morning it always worked fine, I think the do this to avoid the noise made by the elevator). However, my friend had a knee injury and had to climb to 3rd floor basically just using one leg every night. I think this is a big deal, unless specifically clarified during the check in or in the website that the elevator does not operate 24:7. For us, if we knew beforehand it might have been a reason to stay elsewhere for better convenience.

Do not go by the marketing pictures. The rooms were very dated, small, and cramped. There were stains in the upholstery of the furniture. The A/c was out in the whole hotel. It was very hot and muggy. They didn’t tell you upon arrival. You had to find out yourself and complain. They gave each room a portable fan to those who requested it. My husband saw they had a whole closet full of fans so it must happen often. While they did compensate with a 20% refund, I wish we would’ve just requested a full refund and found another place. It was a pretty miserable 2 nights. They told us it happened that day and a technician couldn’t come until tomorrow. But it was never fixed during our stay. Just read another review from a year ago where they gave the same excuse every single day for someone who stayed 5 days. We watched as others came to check-in and they didn’t mention the A/C was out. Even if the A/C worked, the rooms were small with stained furniture and carpet. We even had the largest, most expensive room. The halls are very narrow and cramped. The impression of the hotel felt a bit seedy. For the price (~$300 per night), I wouldn’t recommend. I’m surprised by the reviews which is why we chose this hotel. I’m suspicious of the reviews now to be honest. Location is great otherwise. Near the Louvre Museum.

My wife and I stayed in the Galileo room and I gotta say it was pretty awesome. Ultra modern/clean/ nice walk in shower with rainfall faucet. |The hotel is tucked down a quiet street, so sleeping was easy with no noise at all, and it’s within walking distance to the River Seine/Notre Dame and Le Louvre. |The breakfast was the same every day but had everything you needed in a breakfast- pancakes/scrambled eggs/ bacon and sausage/toast/fruit cups/yogurt/coffee machine/baked goods . There is a water refill station that you can use all day and night so no need to buy water out and about.|Overall fantastic place! Highly recommend!

Great value for money. It has clean, quiet, comfy rooms. I slept like a log. The staff are friendly and helpful. It's easy to get to all the main sites of the city, and just an easy 20 mins (including direct tube ride) from Gare du Nord.

It’s rare to find a good hotel with a nice service in Paris. This one I highly recommend! The location is just perfect, close to Louvre. The service is really really nice and polite. And the rooms are very clean and well established for a 3⭐️ hotel. I will come back, thanks a lot !

Beautiful small hotel, with amazing friendly staff, and great location to everything. Louve just down the road and convenient stations all within 10mins walk.|Although the rooms are very small ( some dont have a door between shower and bed arra), and space for 1 suitcase under the bed, they ate really comfortable, quiet, and very clean. Daily servicing of the room.|Ill definitely be back if I go to Paris.

We stayed in Paris in between the two Olympic games. |Unusual hotel, close to Louvre, very nice shops and metro.|We usually stay in Momarte but on this occasion wished to stay closer to the Louvre due to a disability. We stayed in the Lime/green room (25) like a cabin bed. |Negative points first:|The room is very small with very limited storage. |If staying with another make sure you know each other very well as there are no doors on shower or toilet. there is no kettle or coffee facilities in the room. |there is also no English channels on the TV. |Our sleep was disturbed on our first night with a staff member shouting on the phone and smoking at 4.30-5.oo in the morning. Beds very hard, cabin bed not really suitable for us (tall people).| |Positive points|Location is excellent |transport links excellent|Staff incredibly helpful, engaging and hardworking. Particularly the lady who works preparing breakfast. |Breakfast was super enjoyable, ate too much !!!|There is a dispensable drinks machine for unlimited water and hot drinks in the eating area. Staff provided extra pillows and duvet to help sort issue with beds. |Slept very well after that. |We recommend this hotel

Yelp
This is such a cute little hotel, and I LOVE all the colors and retro styling of the rooms/stairs/lobby. The location is amazing, walking distance to tons of great cafes, bars, restaurants, and transit stops. The staff were friendly and were able to get our room ready before check-in. The housekeeping was so quick and did a great job cleaning the room every time. The room is definitely on the smaller size, and if you're in a single bed room, expect there to be VERY limited privacy. The sink is right but the bed, and the shower is next to the sink, with only a slightly frosted glass, and then the toilet is next to the shower, separated by a sliding door with a giant hole for the handle, that doesn't lock. Not a big deal for a solo traveller or a couple, but something to keep in mind if traveling with someone you're less comfortable seeing naked lol. My only major complaint was that the AC was busted and no matter what temp we set it to, it was FREEZING. And when I say freezing I mean freezing... like painfully cold. We ended up just turning the fan to the lowest speed and turning it off at night. This helped, but I wish we had better control of the temp. Other than that though, amazing hotel and I would highly recommend.

Yelp
Don't think twice about booking hotel odyssy it's a great deal all the way from the staff to the showers inside of these gorgeous rooms. Just off a side street a stones throw from where you need to be I'm giving hotel 'O' five stars for the price of your booking it will exceed your expectations.

Yelp
My second visit in this hotel and the only words I can use to describe it, are : amazing, beautiful, surprising! It's a special place where people are always perfect and the service wonderful . The first time I came here, the receptionist insisted to explain to me the concept of the the hotel . Very intresting to know that every room has been created according to the colour therapy philosophy! Few steps away from rue de Rivoli, this hotel will make you feel in peace with the rest of the world . An amazing modern design, where wooden furniture meet beautiful strong colours, without penalising the warm atmosphere. Tiny rooms, very cozy , with high beds wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast is awesome! Pancakes , croissants and cheese and international variety is available . If you come to Paris, this hotel can be the choice! It will help you to live your holiday or business trip at the best !

Yelp
My husband took me on my first over seas trip in January right after he returned from a deployment. He got the stomach flu immediately upon arrival. He was terribly ill. The woman behind the desk was one of the kindest people I have ever met. I had no idea what to do and she immediately showed concern. She drew a map to the drugstore, got him a two liter of coke and some extra toilet paper. She made sure I had a room to stay in so I didn't catch what he had. She was the difference between a good experience and a bad one. She literally saved the trip that we had saved and saved for. Personally I was never concerned with reviews on staff, as I was more concerned with other things like soft beds and attractive rooms. But you never know when having a kind person behind the desk can make all the difference. I really wish I knew her name. Can't recommend this hotel more.
