Hotel Okura Manila at Newport World Resorts (Manila, Metro Manila) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The Okura hotel group’s Manila offering is central to the action in all senses of the phrase: literally across the street from the airport, and also situated within Newport World Resorts, a retail and entertainment complex with a staggering array of diversions. Upscale Japanese elegance infuses public spaces, most notably on the rooftop, which boasts a bar, heated pool, Zen garden, and spa area. Rooms are sleek and contemporary with cityscape views, and some come with hinoki wooden tubs." - Tablet Hotels

Close to the airport with a free shuttle to the terminal you need. The rooms are amazing with toilets that lift up as you enter the bathroom it was so amazing to see, the whole room had a Japanese theme with a wooden bath tub. The breakfast had many options from sushi to pastries and standard bacon eggs and sausages if you are picky. The staff are very friendly and will always be happy to help, it’s connected directly to a shopping centre with restaurants and the airport was a 5 minute drive. There is even a spa and pool on the roof top. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants wants to get a taste of Japan.

This hotel is a luxury and modern Japanese inspired design. They have a high ceiling in the lobby with Japanese interior design and ambiance. It just looks a bit dark only because most of their outside glasses and windows are tinted but they are well-lit inside to compensate the whole place. The dining is already next to the lobby so it's not hard to find when needed for breakfast. Most of their foods served are Japanese even on breakfast but they also served few Chinese, Western and Filipino dishes too. Our room is spacious and amazing with everything high-tech so it took time for us to learn how to use them. Our room has its own coffee maker also which is very rare and my first time to encounter this and impressed. I've heard they have a great pool and gym here which unfortunately I didn't manage to use because we were so tired already and checked in late. Will update my review the next time I use them. Gladly they allow us to extend our check-out time. Overall, my family and I have a good experience here and we don't mind coming back again.

What an unbelievable experience! The staff was amazing, from the pick up at the airport to the service in the restaurant, everyone was so nice and accommodating. The spa on the pool level was such a nice treat, the Onsen bath was so relaxing, I highly recommend. My only regret was that my stay was too short. Great job!

Our stay at Hotel Okura Manila was flawless in every aspect. The hotel is extremely well-maintained and spotlessly clean, with every space reflecting a sense of serene elegance combined with modern comfort. The service was truly outstanding—professional, discreet, and always ready to accommodate our needs.||The location is unbeatable: just a short walk from Terminal 3 of NAIA Airport, making it ideal for a comfortable arrival or departure. Situated in the heart of Pasay City, within the Newport World Resorts complex, it’s a strategic choice for short stays.||The rooftop pool—part of the SORA Rooftop Bar—is absolutely stunning. Swimming with a view of the city skyline, relaxing on the poolside loungers, and enjoying a drink at sunset is an unforgettable experience.||In conclusion: highly recommended for those looking for a refined stay close to the airport, with meticulous attention to detail, exceptional service, and a dream-worthy rooftop.

My stay at Hotel Okura was genuinely outstanding. The staff are incredibly attentive and welcoming, providing excellent service with Jason from the Gym being a standout example. Cleanliness is paramount here, the facilities are not only very clean but also Luxurious, Gym Equipment are complete. For anyone seeking a hotel experience where attentive service, pristine conditions, and beautiful surroundings are guaranteed, Hotel Okura is an outstanding choice. I wholeheartedly recommend it and look forward to returning on my next visit.

A Cozy Hotel | Okura is a green hotel, indeed a luxury hotel that provides guest experience. The lobby is located on 5F, ambiance is very nice, and interior is Japanese inspired, it let you feel that you are not in PH. |We booked for 2 hinoki-yu rooms, it’s huge, clean, cozy. The room is well maintained, including the hallway. The presence of security control from elevator let us feel that we are secured. TV is equipped wth IPTV but NO casting, internet is fast. Breakfast includes Japanese, America, Thai and Filipino cuisine. My mom and sister enjoyed the champorado. Sauna and Heated pool is inclusive from room rate. Staff are accommodating, from FO, F&B Service (Dine-In and IRD) and F&B Kitchen (from live cooking), Housekeeping and Security. |Downside, our 2nd room that was released after the 1st room seems was not physically inspected, it was noticed that; (1) there was no setup of spoon only cup and saucer, (2) mouthwash also lacking, (3) mirror at the back of TV was not polish well, it has finger prints, (4) lastly one towel that was setup is no longer nice to look with and suggested to be out from the par stock, (5) remote control has to be replaced due to drained battery. Calling FO takes several rings before it was pickup. Replenishment of water and request of tea spoon setup takes time. IRD delivery is slow, follow-up has to be made. Our toilet bowl was clogged. Thou in fairness, it was resolved when we came back from Casino. Filipino foods from breakfast is limited, longganisa labelled as lucban longganisa is just a simple garlic skinless longganisa, not a authentic lucban longganisa. Table from All Dine-In in area is limited, thou we only waited for few minutes to be seated. I find the heated pool in wellness quite itchy, water is cloudy. |Generally, our stay is considered as an experience due to very nice ambiance.

The service was exceptional. The stay itself was excellent, the rooms were nice and we enjoyed the in-room dining. When leaving, I forgot a few of my items in my room. When I contacted Hotel Okura about it, they found and held the item for me. I was able to retrieve it five days later. I am grateful towards the staff at the hotel.

One of the best rooms I’ve stayed in around Metro Manila. Beautiful, well-designed space with top notch service all throughout. Really enjoyed the gym and the pool. Easy access to Resorts World is a big plus. And in my opinion, one of the most stunning hotel lobbies in the city.
