A Cozy Hotel | Okura is a green hotel, indeed a luxury hotel that provides guest experience. The lobby is located on 5F, ambiance is very nice, and interior is Japanese inspired, it let you feel that you are not in PH. |We booked for 2 hinoki-yu rooms, it’s huge, clean, cozy. The room is well maintained, including the hallway. The presence of security control from elevator let us feel that we are secured. TV is equipped wth IPTV but NO casting, internet is fast. Breakfast includes Japanese, America, Thai and Filipino cuisine. My mom and sister enjoyed the champorado. Sauna and Heated pool is inclusive from room rate. Staff are accommodating, from FO, F&B Service (Dine-In and IRD) and F&B Kitchen (from live cooking), Housekeeping and Security. |Downside, our 2nd room that was released after the 1st room seems was not physically inspected, it was noticed that; (1) there was no setup of spoon only cup and saucer, (2) mouthwash also lacking, (3) mirror at the back of TV was not polish well, it has finger prints, (4) lastly one towel that was setup is no longer nice to look with and suggested to be out from the par stock, (5) remote control has to be replaced due to drained battery. Calling FO takes several rings before it was pickup. Replenishment of water and request of tea spoon setup takes time. IRD delivery is slow, follow-up has to be made. Our toilet bowl was clogged. Thou in fairness, it was resolved when we came back from Casino. Filipino foods from breakfast is limited, longganisa labelled as lucban longganisa is just a simple garlic skinless longganisa, not a authentic lucban longganisa. Table from All Dine-In in area is limited, thou we only waited for few minutes to be seated. I find the heated pool in wellness quite itchy, water is cloudy. |Generally, our stay is considered as an experience due to very nice ambiance.
