We stayed at Hotel Ola for three days and we were absolutely delighted! 🌟 The view from our room was simply fantastic – we enjoyed every moment overlooking the sea and the charming town of Trogir. The rooftop pool is a true gem, especially in the evening with the city lights – such a magical experience! What impressed us the most was the wellness area being open all night – something we had never experienced before and it made our stay even more special. The staff were extremely friendly and always ready to help. Hotel Ola is the perfect place to relax and enjoy, and we will definitely come back. Highly recommended! 💙

Nothing to complain about in the hotel. The best views. and the rooftop pool together with the bar was simply the best. Together with the staff. The architects must have had a great day designing this, maybe not so good a day when they put the black light switches. It's really nice to find the lights in the dark. But that non-existent little thing. *****. And the air conditioning keeps the room cool in the very hot weather

This hotel could do so much more to be better . To start we arrived at 10.30 in the morning and was given our room straight away which was great so well done there . The room was fantastic the bed faced the sea and in the morning we slid the full sized glass wall back to open up the balcony, the only moan about the room was the fridge, it was rubbish, no ice box and couldn't get anything remotely chilled. The biggest improvement this hotel needs is the pool area , theres Parasol's that don't work that was reported to management but still didn't get fixed and non of the sunbeds matched. It looked very poor really , the pool bar didn't open till 3 but was to expensive so we used to take our own drinks up there . There was no atmosphere up there and this really needs improvement. The breakfast selection wasn't to bad , it's never going to be proper bacon or sausage but all the rest wasn't to bad . Fix the fridges out in the rooms and spend some money on the pool area and this could be a great hotel.

We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the airport, and according to the photos online, it was located across of the beach. We arrived in the evening, and there was no one at the front desk. We had to go to the restaurant to find someone to help us with the check-in. The room was very clean and spacious with a fantastic view of the ocean. The bathroom was a nice size, providing bathrobes, slippers, several towels and toiletries. However, when taking a shower, since there was no shower curtain, water was all over the floor. We had to put towels on the floor to avoid an accident. When we explained the situation to the person at the front desk, she informed us that she would check if anyone were still at the hotel to assist us with drying and cleaning the bathroom—a very unfriendly person. We also asked about water bottles for our room, and she told us that she drinks water from the faucet. If we would like water to go to the restaurant, we can buy some. Breakfast was included in the price, but it fell below standards, with a limited selection of fruits and a lack of variety in cold and hot items. I ordered an omelette that was dry and inedible. The hotel is located across the street from the coast, but there is no direct access to the beach, and they do not provide any assistance. To get to the beach, one has to cross the street and enter another hotel, asking permission to walk through the hotel to reach the public beach (there are no private beaches).

This hotel was once beautiful but now it’s screaming for a renovation. The staff is nice and very accommodating. The elevator is a sight for itself: probably the slowest in the world. And the infinity pool is very tempting in 37 degrees BUT you will have to share it with at least 17 seagulls.

My partner and I have just returned from a 3 night stay at Hotel Ola. ||The room we had was lovely and spacious. We had no issue with the room. If you like privacy then this room may not be for you as the bathroom and shower is all open plan with a frosted glass shared door. ||The breakfast and dinner was fine. Staff were pleasant however not much atmosphere within the hotel. Big shout out to Mladen, such an asset to the team at the hotel, very friendly and helpful and helped us with giving us lifts. ||Rooftop pool was stunning and a huge highlight of the hotel stay, the pool was cold however fine to dip your feet in. Bit disappointed that the pool bar was not open however still early in the season and a plus that the hotel wasn’t overly busy. ||The hotel is around a 5 min taxi journey to Trogir or a 40 min walk, if getting a taxi I would advise using uber as so much cheaper than a normal taxi. We paid 5 euros with uber and got charged 20 euros for same journey with a taxi. The hotel is around 15/20mins from the airport and around 40mins away from Split. ||The stay was overall really good and I would definitely return.

Went with a friend for a 3 night stay in May. Location of this hotel is excellent, close to the airport, breathtaking views and great customer service. The hotel itself is quite quirky, the rooms all have sea views, a bath in the bedroom and showers that share a glass sliding door with the toilet, very odd but we made it work! Hotel very clean and beds comfortable. We ate in the hotel twice and on both occassions the food was very good. The pool on the rooftop was very cold, but the view made up for it. We used the wellness centre on the first day and was disappointed as the heated pool was not heated and the sauna was luke warm, however, after informing the reception manager it was sorted by the next day. The staff are all really friendly but a special thanks has to go to Mladen who not only worked in the bar but also took us into Split town and back again and times that were convenient to us and he was so very helpful and knowledgeable. Also a huge thank you to Tonci who was an acceptional waiter, he gave us advice on the best food and drink to order and was right every time, he was so attentive, his care and attention was outstanding, a real asset to the hotel, thank you!! We would definitely come again!! Thank you for a wonderful few days!

I stayed at hotel ola split 17-24/6. The hotel is rated by jet2 as 4*. This is too high. The rooms are very modern and spacious with large shower and good views. However, the glass toilet cubicle offers no privacy and is not even fully closed off from the room. The carpets on the stairs and hallways have multiple stains where spillages have been cleaned off. The roof top pool area has fantastic views and the small infinity pool is very nice. However, all the sun parasols were rusty torn and dirty and 2 out of the 5 were broken and unusable. The pool bar is never open. It looks scruffy and in need of tlc. I dread to think how long the drinks in the fridges behind in direct sunlight have been there. If you want a coffee or drink while sunbathing, you have to go down in the lift to the dinning room bar and bring it back up yourself. You can’t get any snacks or nibbles during the day so have to walk down to the beach to one of the beach bars or hike along the busy main road about 10-15mins to a bakery or supermarket which in 35c plus wasn’t much fun & not what I expect in a 4* hotel or while on holiday. Some of the sun beds were also cracked. I never saw anyone clean up the pool or lounges and they were left scattered all over the whole time we were there. There are numerous tiles missing from the pool which is only small. The outside of the hotel is poorly maintained. There are weeds everywhere and unkept gardens. There are also 2 properties being built in front of the hotel. We never heard any construction noise while there but assume there will have to be to complete these. Breakfast was okay, quite basic and not very exciting. Bland omelettes and scrambled eggs served on cheap white bread. We only had the scrambled eggs once as it was basically an omelet chopped up. No other bread options offered. When I tried to get my eggs on some decent wholemeal bread I found in a bread basket, it caused total confusion and I got 2 pieces of toast back. The juice was cheap stuff out of a machine too. No fresh juices. There was a small fridge with one jug of milk in and some cartons of yogurt one choice of fresh fruit in a tray not replaced when empty. This felt like I was in a cheap b&b not a 4* holiday hotel. This is promoted as a wellness hotel with a big emphasis on the facilities. The spa area is actually very nice and in winter would be lovely but not in 35+ degrees. The gym is tiny was very warm, no windows in it and only too machines in there with small weights area. The only bar is in the dinning room and there is no atmosphere if you want a drink later at night. In fact we only went in once on the first night and were made to feel not very welcome on the outside terrace as we weren’t eating. The roof top bar is not open to sit up there. Overall, it seems everything rests on the rooms and the rest has been forgotten about. It’s more like staying in apartments without the extra room facilities. Certainly not a 4* holiday hotel. Generally disappointed in this hotel for a holiday.
