We booked the Premium Harbor View Room, 10 months prior to the date of our stay.
As we walked in to the room, half the view was blocked by scaffolding. And there were noisy building works on the other side of our wall that started early each morning.
We had to keep the balcony door closed, with the curtains drawns, as the workers standing on the scaffolding could see straight in to our room.
There had been no communication about this situation prior to arrival. (The front desk response when we asked about the situation was "oh, you must have booked a long time ago if you did not know about the building works". And then another responsible was "we wouldn't have put you in that room if we had known they are working over the weekend".)
When the staff came to see 'what the problem was' early on Saturday morning, the pot plant on the balcony was swaying and had to be grabbed and steadied by the staff member, due to the vibrations from the drilling and sawing.
Our 'compensation' from the Manager for a 4-night stay was one complimentary breakfast.
We were offered to swap to other rooms but they were smaller, had no view/balcony and stank of cigarettes.
On no occassion did the Manager reach out to us or communicate with us.
Facilities and services are poor: one coffee bag supplied for a double room each day, no room-safe, and no wake up calls.
The hotel also has no connection to the in-house Club Room. Hence they were unable to help with the loud, late night party that was taking place next to our room.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and it was a good location, but we would not recommend staying there.
