Standard room (so so not bad) and you can see the sea from your window room (extra points). Staff is nice and helpful. Overall, okay for the price. Might be the go-to affordable place to stay for it rate.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel on the Rock. The staff were welcoming and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the sea view was beautiful. I like it because facing the sea and you can see the sunset while swimming or enjoying your drink 🍸. But what disappointed me is when me and my mother wanna have dinner at their restaurant, it take more than 1h to be done, and they didn't give me what I ordered, they give food that I didn't order so I bring it back and ask for my order and I have to wait for almost 1 to get my dinner. When I ask the cashier he said because there's a foreigners having dinner and they only have one chef so I said are foreign more important then local or Indonesian? we pay the same price to stay at the same hotel. How disappointing.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in, the pillows were disgusting they were stained and had mould on them. We asked for new pillows and told they didn’t have any, we had to go to the local shopping mall to buy our own pillows. The sheets were badly stained, we had to put towels over the bottom sheet to be able to use the bed. The room was filthy kids had scribbled all over the walls and other people wrote their names on the wall. There was also bed bugs so we sat up all night. The staff didn’t care at all. I can’t even give it 1 star because even that is too much. PLEASE RETHINK BEFORE BOOKING THIS HOTEL. IT IS NOT VALUE FOR MONEY, THEY SHOULD PAY YOU

When I stayed at the hotel, the bellboy staff was not very skilled in English pronunciation and did not understand what I was asking so I had to go to the receptionist to ask for help.

The hotel is right on the city centre. You need to get a room with the Seaview and the scenery in the morning is beautiful. The service is slow at times but overall is acceptable. It is easy to get a taxi to the airport from there. I will stay here again.

I chose this hotel over the one nearby because for the same price one has a gym and a swimming pool to use. The hotel is not new and the facilities are somehow worn out. I like the people and the location. I think for the price it is worth it. It is not so quiet but it is ok.
