Hotel One Shot Aliados Goldsmith 12

This place is wonderful. The location cannot be beat. The room is a good size and comes with tons of free stuff like slippers, toothbrushes, toothpaste in addition to standard stuff like shampoo and conditioner. The front desk staff were all super friendly and wonderful. The rooftop is a really cool feature, with great views. Also our room had a cute balcony. There was some street noise and a little construction noise that started around 8am. This did not bother us at all and is pretty on par for staying in a city. I’ve stayed at places with MUCH worse street noise.

As soon as we stepped foot into the entrance, we we're greeted by Will. Friendly and cannot do enough for us. We had a good vibe straight away and the hotel foyer is small and simple, but had everything you needed, including umbrellas for Porto's very unpredictable weather. The room, we we're on the 2nd floor. Lovely & spacious, the communal area was VERY clean and styled very well. It's a period property, so yes you will hear the odd street noise. The hotel is situated right in the middle of the centre. Room was cleaned daily! The location of the hotel is very convenient. Walkale to all touristy locations, very safe and restaurants and cafe are very close by. The breakfast was great. So many options, including fresh fruit and good choice of cerels and pastries. They also have a Nespresso Professional machine, what more can you ask for. Off the dining area is the outdoor terrace. Would be beautiful to sit out when the sun is shining. We had our breakfast and looked at the view every morning during our stay. Throughout our stay we could fill up our water bottles whenever we wanted. The staff at breakfast was very attentive and informative. The dining area was very clean and spacious. Best boutique hotel we stayed in. Will recommended us local restaurants and cafes to visit and he was sooooo right. Food was amazing. We like to ask locals where they would eat as some tourist reviews are just hyped up. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Porto! There was construction outside the hotel, however, we did not hear it when we we're inside the hotel.

Excellent location nearby Metro and Train station to anywhere, but pretty quite. I stayed here for one week, and all staffs are friendly. The room is clean and comfortable. Only concerned the conditioner is loud. I would like to come back and recommend One Shot Aliados Goldsmith to friends, and also choose One Shot hotels in other countries.

Disappointing Stay We chose this hotel for its excellent location, but it was a major disappointment. ​Gloomy Atmosphere: The overall use of excessively dark lighting in the rooms and breakfast area created a depressing and spooky (spooky) ambiance, undermining the hotel's design focus. We stayed in a room opposite the square, and there is construction happening in the building across the street ​Poor Service & Maintenance: The bathroom's refillable shampoo was empty, and the reception phone was out of order, forcing us to walk down to the front desk to ask for basic amenities. ​Cleanliness Issue: We found visible mold in the shower booth. ​The breakfast was mediocre, lacking variety in hot food and not meeting boutique hotel standards. ​Due to these persistent issues, we checked out and moved to another hotel the next day. Avoid this hotel.

This is one of the best stay in my trip in Portugal, the receptionist super kind and helpful. And the room is really good, clean, spacious and with great sunlight!

Wonderful place to stay in Porto! The staff was extremely lovely especially Will. The room was quiet and so clean and the breakfast(buffet) was lovely. We love it!

Excellent location, so many wonderful locations are easily walkable, the subway metro is also nearby. Wonderful, friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable staff (João I'm looking at you, bud!) ensure you have the stay you are looking for. Oh, and the showers...incredible. 10/10 would recommend

A good hotel with affordable luxury. I had a lovely room on the corner of the hotel. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices and the service was friendly. The reception staff was very helpful.
