Hotel One Shot Mercat

Excellent location for exploring the old city, also good choice of restaurants and bars. Hotel feels a little tired with rooms needing a bit better maintenance. Very clean though. Service was minimum required - one person on reception, not all that welcoming but not rude either. Breakfast served in the back room of a closed restaurant. Decent food selection but odd setting.

Great city centre hotel. Excellent location. Staff are really helpful & friendly. Rooms are spacious, clean & quiet. Breakfast although basic was a good experience. Food was cooked for you fresh & nothing was too much trouble. If there were any downsides there were very few sun beds around the pool, this was not an issue while we were there in May but I would imagine in high season it would be frustrating. Also there was no furniture on the balconies, although small this would have been a nice touch. All in all a great hotel & we would definitely visit again.

Location is perfect for exploring the historical centre of Valencia, you really couldn't ask for a better place hotel in my opinion. It's a stones throw away from the main square but far enough away for it to be quiet at night. The interior of the hotel is beautiful. The rooftop pool is gorgeous. The rooms themselves are lovely and spacious with high ceilings. The massive shower is a big plus. The only downsides to the room were some of the ceiling lights flickered constantly, the temperature of the shower varied whilst the water was running, it wasn't consistent and there were no blackout blinds meaning there was a lot of light let in from the windows when trying to sleep. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Valencia

First of all, at first instance this looks to me like a great hotel. However, my friend and I booked a room and requested it to be a twin room. The hotel responded saying they can't guarantee it to be a twin room, which means we have to risk that my 2.03m friend and I (1.93m) will have to share a double bed. In the same email they urged us to pay as soon as possible to secure the room (although we don't know what kind of room).

Great location for our first visit to Valencia with many of the sights being within walking distance from here. Also still quiet enough to be able to sleep at night. |Good clean facilities, lovely room. |Pool on roof.|Staff could not have been more helpful with all requests. |Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is perfectly situated for exploring Valencia, central but in a quiet location. Our room was spacious and extremely comfortable and the hotel staff were fabulous. From front of house to the breakfast staff to the cleaners nothing was too much trouble and they all worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. Thank you One Shot Mercat, we hope to see you again soon!

A great hotel, reception staff extremely friendly and helpful. ||Lovely room, spacious, modern, clean, comfortable.||Excellent location for old town and easy bus access to Marina/beach. ||Rooftop pool an added bonus for a relax in the sun. Would have been nice if there was a bar for a pool drink or after dinner drink. ||We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment.

My husband and I had an amazing stay at One Shot Mercat in Ciutat Vella, Valencia, so much so that we canceled our reservations at another hotel so that we could stay longer at One Shot Mercat! The location is great, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. Special shoutout to Aleix Juanes, Front Desk Manager, who was informative, helpful, attentive, and patient with us, as we navigated a city that was new to us! He went out of his way to make us feel at home for the time we spent at One Shot Mercat, and he and the rest of the staff made our stay special and memorable!
