Small cozy room. The employees were friendly and always helpful. The restaurant is a very nice touch with a great size garden. Good menu and varieties. Fantastic daily dessert options. Definitely will stay at the hotel and enjoy more tasty food

Very good hotel, very friendly people, excellent room, very clean, very comfortable. The apartment is excellent for parents with one child. The location is perfect. The prices are good.

A very nice hotel, there is an underground parking for 10 cars (4), boutique terraces, in the morning the breakfast is a compliment from the hotel, just taking a coffee for 2 BGN, and the restaurant only opens at 11:30

We stayed one night before flying back home. No problems parking our rented car outside, we didn't make use ofthe free garage (you have to book it in advance). Receptionist kind and helpful. Free wifi, fast. Room spacious. Fridge with minibar not working. Clean if you don't look too closely. The breakfast (included in the rate) is being served from 7:30 - too late for us to sample it. Just minutes from the centre and pedestrian zone. We would gladly return.

We stayed in this charming place after a friend of us in Bulgaria recommended to us. It is small but every detail is done with elegance. The restaurant was closed but be find places for dinning quite near the hotel. All the staff was very friendly and spoke very good english. The city is change a lot since we visited five years a go, it offers much more than before. We hope to return. By the way, the prices are very good.

We stayed at California for two nights in September 2014. The hotel is on a quiet side street only a couple of blocks away from the main pedestrian area. The rooms are silent and ok, but a little old already. The bathroom and shower felt more modern. There is a lift, free breakfast and free wifi. The rooms would need some upgrading. Especially the beds felt old, very soft, and not very fresh. We recommend that the hotel replaces the old beds with more modern, fresh and firm beds. Service was blunt.

We stayed at the California Hotel for three nights. It was a nice clean hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. We we were frustrated when they only had double rooms with fixed beds across the room from each other available when we booked a room with one bed, but they were able to give us a different room the next night. The location is okay, but could be better. We liked walking so it worked out for us.

I got two balconies in twin room. Price-quality is exellent. ||Aircondition didn't work well, no chilling. ||Clean and nice room. ||General places were nice but restaurant was closed, only breakfast. ||Breakfast was simple but ok.
