Very satisfied with this hotel. Front desk and housekeeping staff were extremely helpful. Rooms are simple, but clean and comfortable. Free breakfast was great. Rooftop terrace was fantastic, with beautiful view. Location is right around the corner from the downtown train station and a very short, easy walk to the old town restaurants and attractions. Not the Ritz, but very good and quite reasonably priced.

If you want to visit Coimbra, this is a great hotel to choose from. The rooftop bar terrace offers great views of the city, and the staff are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. It is in an ideal location just by Coimbra A railway station, a short walk to the main shopping area and Baixa, next to the river Mondego. Rooms are clean, modern, and well equipped. The breakfast is included and has a great variety of choices. I really can't recommend this hotel enough.

From check in to check out I enjoyed this hotel. Reception staff were friendly informative and helpful throughout our stay. We upgraded to a comfortable room with a balcony on the 5th floor giving great views. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety. The breakfast room doubled as a bar in the evenings. The two girls running it were absolutely brilliant. The rooftop terrace was a nice feature with wonderful views. Car parking was very convenient too.

Hotel Oslo is conveniently situated to walk into the Old Town of Coimbra and the inclusive nearby parking is a real plus. We were able to park outside the hotel and drop off and collect luggage on departure.|We requested a room on a higher floor for the view. The friendly staff member who checked us in gave good advice on our walking route into town, the major sights and restaurant suggestions. We were there on the day of the Festas da Rianha Santa Isabel celebration. |Our room on the third floor was standard with a balcony and a rather small but functional bathroom. As we were in Coimbra just for one night it was a good choice.|We enjoyed a late night drink on the rooftop terrace and took in the views of the Old Town after a long, hot day of exploring. Breakfast was very pleasant despite not having a wide selection. |We would definitely recommend staying the Hotel Oslo.

This is a nice little hotel and we would not hesitate to come back and to recommend to friends. Not the newest or fanciest, but certainly very clean, comfortable and convenient! And all the staff are outstanding! Very helpful and friendly! Great location for transportation as well! Great views!

Hotel Oslo is perfectly located to see all of the sights of Coimbra. Caudrigo (sorry unsure of spelling) on reception was so helpful. He gave us a map and told us the best places to visit, and recommend a couple of really good restaurants. We upgraded to a room with a balcony and city views which was lovely. The roof top bar had lovely views and the breakfasts were good. It is on quite a busy road, but this is probably unavailable being this close to the centre and near the railway station.

On our way from Porto to Lisbon, we stopped by Coimbra for 6 hours to explore the city and the University of Coimbra. The hotel was very kind to let us store our luggage for free even though we were not their guests. We truly appreciated their kindness. The college town Coimbra where the top ranked University of Coimbra is located, is a nice town with interesting streets, squares, historic churches and buildings, and great views from the river.

If you are looking for nice clean rooms, close to train station, look no further. After a long day of travel, we felt very welcome, even after finding out our lost luggage had not yet arrived. No worries - the friendly staff at Hotel Oslo checked us in and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. By the time we returned, our luggage was delivered and waiting for us in our room.
