We’ve eaten at the Palace Hotel Restaurant many times over the past 6 years. The food is always delicious and the prices are very reasonable. The last time our waiter was Andre, and he did a great job. We had pasta, filet mignon, sandwich, and dessert. We will be back!

The best thing about this hotel is that they agreed to refund our payment since we decided not to stay there. It's old, moldy, smells bad, really bad, electric sockets in the room weren't functioning. There is NO safe in the rooms. It looks and feels like a 1 star hotel from the 1980's - which hasn't changed since then, or was ever aired in the last 40 years. I really don't understand its online rating. My guess is, people feel bad putting up a real review after they have received their refund. Cause the staff wasn't really surprised when we asked to leave.

Most of the main tourist sites and good restaurants are nearby.. Just a short walk away. The staff is superb plus the breakfast was nice. My room was large with a comfortable bed. No problem with room or water temperature, and the wifi was dependable. I had no issues with my stay.

Right in town, 2 blocks from the river front. Exceptional position, spacious immaculate rooms, very attentive staff, very quiet rooms . Only stayed overnight but would spend several days here!

Our stay in early May 2023 for three days was very nice. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They helped to arrange a reliable pick up from the airport which was around midnight. The restaurant staff were nice, and the food was very good. The room, lobby and restaurant were all kept very clean. The included breakfast was excellent along with the service (different than the evening staff). There was a variety of items – coffee, yummy hot chocolate, fresh fruit, yogurts, breads, along with hot items and you could order a verity of egg dishes made to order. The location was quiet and made it easy to access the Malecon.

I had a great stay at this 4 star hotel, which I'll give it 10 stars. Located in downtown Guayaquil. My room was roomy with great A/C. The room was soundproofed since it was on the second floor. Breakfast buffet was great. The staff at the lobby, restaurant were great. They really made my stay comfortable.
