A beautiful boutique hotel, right on the grand canal. Gorgeously designed, the rooms feel modern, spacious and luxurious. The bar also feels lovely, and has a small balcony for two that looks out over the grand canal. Breakfast is continental. The hosts, as everyone has said, are gracious, kind and very helpful. The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by local restaurants and cafes that serve amazing food and drink just a few minutes walk away. There is a lift for heavy cases, even though the hotel is small and cosy. It was a perfect hub from which to explore Venice, get a comfortable nights sleep, and a pre dinner drink.

Our visit to the Barbarigo Hotel was the hight light of our entire trip to Venice. Everyone was so special to us. Nicoletta was the perfect host. Stepheno was awesome with all of his kindness and willingness to help us with our many questions. Also, Lea was so wonderful with her lovely sweet personality providing us with a pleasant and delicious breakfast each morning looking out over the Grand Canal. Rooms were super clean and comfortable. Great location.

Highly recommend the Hotel Palazzo Barbarigo. From the moment we stepped in we were impressed by the impeccable service and ambiance! The beautiful dark, moody, and opulent decor befits its location in the heart of Venice!
It’s a short walk to the best sightseeing and yet the local neighborhood is quiet with lots of shops and cafes. Our well appointed and elegant suite had all the luxury amenities and was situated on the grand canal!
An included continental breakfast was amazing and is served in a gorgeous room overlooking the grand canal. We could not have asked for more during our three night visit to Venice.

I did a lot of research before choosing a hotel in Venice and compared all of them along the Grand Canal that was within our budget and I am so glad I chose this one. The staff went above and beyond treating us like family! I’ve never had such great service at a hotel in my life. The property is beautiful as well from the lobby to the bar and especially the room. We had gondolas cruising by our window all throughout the day so peaceful and magical.

This is certainly a hidden gem sitting right on the Grand Canal ! Extremely friendly and welcoming and one of the coolest rooms we have had traveling . No 1 is a suite that literally has three windows with great grand canal views . The room is sophisticated with a distinct art deco mood . The hotel is central to just about everything and you can walk to all of the important sights within 20 minutes yet access great restaurants in just a few . The extremely skinny ally that accesses the “back” door is very “cool” literally and very hidden and private . Hotel Palazzo Barbarigo is certainly a place we will recommend and felt more like a fine bed and breakfast . By the way the included continental breakfast is delicious and the balcony table is a must if you get a chance .

Yelp
This waterfront hotel is a family run gem! Nicoletta and Stefano are two very hard working hosts. Rooms are small but efficient and a handy bar just outside the door.
The views of the canal keeps you entertained and shops and restaurants are just out the door.
This hotel has no restaurant but don't worry, breakfast is available and very good.
I will not stay anywhere else when in Venice....

Yelp
From the moment our water taxi pulled up to the Grand Canal entrance of this marvelous small hotel, we felt as though we had been transported back to another, more glamorous, time in Venice's past (perhaps the 1920s or 30s?) but one that had been brought up to date with the conveniences and luxuries of 2018! Every morning we had a delicious breakfast in the small dining room; several afternoons we had cocktails in the beautiful bar overlooking the Grand Canal. The staff were all extraordinary polite and helpful, especially VIOLETTE in the bar and DANIELE at the front desk. We can't wait to return!!
