Hotel Palazzo Decumani

The hotel is well-situated in the historic center of Naples. The hotel breakfast was good. I liked the fresh pastries, delicious quiche and nice cappuccinos. The room was quiet and comfortable and had a nice shower. Barbara at reception was especially welcoming and suggested we visit the Duomo for the San Gennaro festival which we found very interesting. The only negative was the man working reception the night and morning we left. All of the other staff told us to order our cab to the airport the evening before. When I tried to, he brushed me off and said it was unnecessary. I went down early the next morning because I was concerned and the same guy was working. He said I was all set citing another room number. I said I had not pre-ordered because he had refused to take the order the night before. He did not communicate with the taxi company (as other staff said they would) that I would be paying by card so the driver tried to overcharge me when we got to the airport because I was using a card. I also noticed the other guests who had pre-ordered a taxi got a small breakfast plate. We received nothing. My son who was staying in a different room was also charged for 3 more waters than he had taken from the mini bar. This employee soured an otherwise positive hotel experience.

Great location in the heart of Napoli. Close to everything for first time visitors. Breakfast is great to get started. No noise issues and AC worked great in our room. Only downside is the city is kind of dirty and lots of graffiti. Overall we felt safe everywhere we went.

We stayed here for the better part of a week at the end of June and had a wonderful stay. Our room had great air conditioning (a good reprieve from the hot days outside). Breakfast provided ample choices. The room was clean and well presented. Location was great. The receptionists were kind and offered good suggestions when requested. We had a great stay. Would not hesitate to recommend or to stay again.

Staff at the front desk were super helpful. Centrally located. Comfortable, clean room. The pillows were too firm. It would have been nice to have at least one soft pillow. Breakfast was good, but fresh orange juice would have been a plus. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return in the future.

This beautiful hotel is well located in Naples, a short taxi drive from the main train station and the harbour. And a short walk to most attractions.|We stayed in a Superior Double Room which was really nice; clean and modern with a high ceiling. The breakfast was plentiful and a polite waiter who would serve you a good coffee. The staff in the lobby were really friendly and informative.

An oasis amongst the hustle and bustle of Centro Storico. Very close to Spaccanapoli and walking distance to Napoli Centrale train station . |Luxurious and quiet .. |From our balcony we watched the sun rise over Vesuvius .. spectacular ! |Delicious breakfast and fabulous breakfast team who looked after us so well ( thank you !!) |Barbara at reception was a cheerful mine of information . |Would absolutely recommend !

Great overall experience. Barbara at front desk a fantastic and cheerful help. Bathroom and breakfast excellent. Problem with lack of railings on all entry way steps, indoor and outdoor. Did not receive our requested wake-up call.

We had a great time and would highly recommend this hotel. The staff were very friendly and knowledgable. Our room was very clean and spacious and the complimentary breakfast was fantastic. What a great location in the heart of Naples.
