Hotel Palazzo Guiderocchi

The only thing that was ok was the breakfast. The room was a disaster. Very smal dark bathroom with a little shower and a door that had had its best time. The fan in the bathroom was extremely loud. It was very disturbing. Airco was just a rolling box with a big tube as exit. It was unbairebly noisy. When working : it spreads a terrible smell. Urgently needed to be desinfected and filters needed to be replaced. I could not use it because the noice and the smell. Also no safe in the room. A disaster for me.

The palazzo itself is charming, but unfortunately the room left a lot to be desired. The mattress was old and uncomfortable, with noticeable springs, and the bedding had a tear. Some towels had holes, which made everything feel a bit worn out. There was also a persistent unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, and the toilet seat didn’t fit properly, it was far too small. The place clearly needs some renovation and updating. That said, breakfast was decent, and the highlight of our stay was Lucy, who made the best coffee and brought a warm, personal touch each morning. She really made a difference.

This is a lovely old palazzo! We stayed here 2 nights. It was a bit of a challenge to find...GPS doesn't like these medieval towns! But we had a warm welcome. Lovely big room with a high ceiling. Very quiet. Very close to all the lovely piazzas, for which Ascoli is famous. Excellent hot-and-cold buffet for breakfast. And a great server who made us "custom" coffees! Grazie!

Ideal position tucked in a quiet street just behind Piazza del Popolo. We received a warm welcome along with our dog. The staff were professional and friendly, the room and bathroom were both spacious and very comfortable. In addition, we enjoyed a generous breakfast with great service. Our go-to hotel next time we visit Ascoli Piceno.

Wonderful people, great breakfast, and comfortable and quiet room in a very good location. And the convenience of valet pathing for a fee certainly is an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

The central location in Ascoli Piceno is ideal for a city break. All the main sights of the city are accessible on foot from the hotel. I recommend the parking service if you have a car, it is speedy and convenient. The reception staff were uniformly charming and helpful and we had a great restaurant recommendation from them. Breakfast is comprehensive and caters for all tastes. The room we had was spacious and comfortable.

Wonderful location, 100m from the fantastic Piazza del Popolo. The hotel is a fading **** hotel, a bit austere and showing signs of wear and tear. Large room, smallish bathroom, working airco. Good breakfast. The check-out procedure seems to be worn out as well, this takes ages. Would we come back? Possibly.
