Please note: the hotel is under new management.
The old management went bankrupt around November 2023. Please disregard older bad reviews.
Ursula is the new GM, and she's typically Swiss, kind outgoing and outspoken. She works very hard to assist and help in any way.
She also started a new program where guests have unlimited access to the "Mineralbad" (mineral hot bath) just around the corner. She provides extra towels and robes, free of charge.
Milena runs the breakfast buffet, which is again typically Swiss, with the obligatory and delicious Müesli, various breads, cereals, nuts and dried fruits to add, cold cuts, cheeses, joghurts, jams etc, and juices. They offer various coffee drinks (included) and eggs to order (included).
Milena is prompt, friendly, kind and efficient.
The hotel is newly renovated, with some rooms featuring contemporary decor etc, and other rooms which still have the original wood floors, ceiling and built-ins, beautifully restored.
It's small and quaint, and has very much a family and cozy feel.
There are common rooms on second floor (labeled first, of course) and 3rd floor (labeled 2nd) with honor-system minibar items and board games.
There is a small garage, and a direct entry to a ski room with storage and elevator access.
The location is right next to a church, so it's always easy to find it, if you're not paying attention. Centrally located.
All in all, it's a beautiful, little, well-run hotel.
I highly recommend.
