We spent a night at this hotel and really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety to choose from, including freshly made scrambled eggs or fried eggs, and waffles with fruit. All the staff were very polite, and we felt very welcome. Unfortunately, one of our rooms had a strong smell of mold, but there was an air purifier that helped a bit. The hotel could use some renovation, but that’s just a minor detail. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay ❤️

Google
Great hotel with a wonderful buffet breakfast each day. Staff go out of their way to help, and special mention to the barman who knows much about the city of Venice (also has great recommendations for local food). Only downside for us was that our first floor room struggled with internet connectivity (rest of the hotel worked fine). Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is a little bit of a walk from the water taxi stop. We had no issue with this as we prearranged a transfer service to help us with our bags all the way to the hotel from the train station. The breakfast was the best we had anywhere on our 14 day tour of Italy. Also the bartender in the bar after 5:00 pm was outstanding. Excellent service. I did request extra towels and never received them. Not sure if my request in English was fully understood. There was a slight odor from the canal as you enter the lobby. This seems to be the case everywhere in Venice. The rooms were very elegant and beds were comfortable. Be careful in the bathtub when taking a shower as it was very slippery. Overall it was a nice experience here.

Google
Excellent experience, considering this a first visit to Venice. I would call or email the front office to setup a porter and a private water taxi. I did this for check out and it was money well-spent. The apartment room was great, but air conditioning was weak in the bed room. Andrea at the front desk is the man. He provided a superb service for us and took care of any problems with efficiency and urgency. The best hotel front desk personnel I have met in Europe.

I cant say enough good things about this boutique hotel: the location is perfect, it is impeccable, quiet and the room we got was beautiful. The staff is very professional, and a special mention for the breakfast manager who can easily belong in the dining room of the Gritti Palace. Oh and aside from the perfect service, the breakfast itself was smong the best I've had anywhere.||||This hotel is a great value. A real gem.

I cannot begin to tell you how satisfied we are with our stay at Hotel Palazzo Parruta. The location is amazing and the staff goes above and beyond. I have never seen anything like this. To filling up my bottle of water for me, or bringing to us glass of water when they see us arriving with our Italian pizza for lunch. Those little things that makes such a big difference. The breakfast was incredible even better than what we had on our cruise ship! The service in the breakfast area was so exquisite. Bravo !

This was one of the most disgusting hotels ever. How dare they claim they’re a “HOTEL”. They’re worse than a motel. Funny thing is they call themselves a wellness retreat. The only wellness I experienced was getting the hell out of there and trying to recover from all the bed bug bites. The rooms smelled like raw sewage. Beds were disgusting and the pull out bed was a joke. I was in tears the whole time we were there. We had nothing but bed bug bites all over. The staff was rude and not accommodating. All we heard was, “this is it”. Basically telling us take it or leave it. The room smelled so bad upon arrival that management themselves had to clean our shower and mask the smell with bleach and cleaners. Our French doors would slam open during a rain storm while we were sleeping. We heard clicking of dishes at 6am. No one helped us with our suitcases. Front desk just sat there and watched us struggle pulling them in. Adding pictures of them cleaning our shower and our bed bug incidents. People please save yourself the misery and your hard earned money and don’t stay here. Do you homework.

Great stay in this two bedroomed apartment . Everything we needed was provided- cutlery, plates, bowls and a dishwasher (tablets provided). There was even a washing machine with detergent provided along with ironing board and iron. The air conditioning was great and beds were very comfortable . Staying in an apartment in the narrow streets of Venice gave our stay an authentic feel - we felt like true venetians!||

Yelp
Absolutely excellent stay at Palazzo Paruta Apartments! The apartment with a terrace was exceptionally clean, and had all our basic needs. It was on a quiet street (the whole area is mostly quiet) and a ~7min walk to the more bustling areas of Venice. We loved it! I would recommend this property & would definitely stay here again! The staff was also super kind and helpful (directions, recommendations, etc). Some other tips: From the airport we took a water taxi for 15€ each and it took 45 min to get the S'Angelo stop which was then a ~7 minute walk to the lobby! Be mindful there are stairs you must walk up & down (like in most of Venice). You can also get to the Santa Lucia train station from the S'Angelo stop in about 35 minutes! Take the 1 line towards Rialto. ask if you need help at the stop, captains were very friendly! Overall, during our 3 day stay we walked pretty much everywhere! I would 100% recommend this property and hope to come again!!

Yelp
This hotel was a cool place to stay in during our first trip to Venice. The building itself was 600 years old, and its historic charm was well-preserved. Our suite was incredibly spacious, the largest hotel room I've ever experienced. Breakfast was very nice, with made-to-order dishes. The rooms offered a fantastic view. Overall, I loved everything about our stay.

Yelp
Yelp should have separate options to review the main hotel and the apartments. This hotel is quite expensive, and it makes sense if you are getting a apartment out of the deal. We did not have the apartment that everyone else has raved about. We got a cramped room on the first floor that smelled strongly of mildew. Our allergies were out of control. The room had a large bed and a tiny desk with a mini fridge hidden inside. The fridge would get incredibly hot in that tiny cabinet. There was no where to put our luggage, as the top of the desk was barely big enough to support the carry on. We were able to check in early, and went out to grab a snack. When we came back, maybe an hour later, the maid had been in our room and opened the windows. Besides being a safety concern, this let in a swarm of mosquitos that we battled for our entire stay. Each time we left, the AC would turn completely off and we would come back to a hot box swamp. I'm adding a star for the breakfast, which was out of this world. By far, it was the best breakfast we had in Italy, with countless options.

Yelp
We did not get to experience a true 'hotel' experience at Palazzo Paruta. Instead, we got to stay in a private apartment nearby in Campo Sant'Angelo! We figured we got this upgrade because it was right after Carnivale and thus a slower time of year for them. Not complaining! Check-in was incredibly smooth. Our guy carried our luggage out the hotel, through a small bridge, into the city square, and up to our apartment. Our Venetian apartment!!! Our apartment was insanely huge, very modern, and loft-like. We slept under exposed rafters and had a washer and dryer (which we did not use). The kitchen was fully useable, with glasses, utensils, pots, pans, etc... It was really more like an Airbnb (but much better) than a hotel room. In the mornings, you could hear folks getting from point A to point B in the square, people working on neighboring buildings, and random conversations in passing. As we were in and out of the building, it really felt like we were locals for a few days. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, very palatial. If Venice were a destination again, would definitely want to stay in one of the rooms, but am so happy we had the apartment!

Yelp
Call me crazy but we really liked this quirky, charming, interesting and sort of antique but well kept up hotel. Funny on our 3 city trip of Italy the two 3 star hotels like this one were better than the 3 1/2 hotel we stayed at in Florence. This hotel in Venice has a good bed, nice bathroom, pretty sitting areas and a very helpful and accommodating staff except for the middle aged man working the breakfast. This guy was a bit rude (like a character out of the sitcom, Seinfeld) and not very accommodating hence the 4 instead of 5 star rating. The rest of the staff of the hotel were quite helpful and accommodating. Hint: be careful going from shower to floor because this place is wall to wall marble on the floor and you will slip from here all the way back to Rome. Breakfast was also a bit more interesting experience (food wise) than the other two hotels we stayed at in Florence and Rome. Venice is a gorgeous and unique place but does feel a bit Disney-ish, crowded, overpriced and overly commercial.

Yelp
Stayed here as part of my 3-city visit in Italy. This was the last stop after Rome and Florence. The hotel is not exactly my cup of tea...that said it is very very nice. A very antique feel in the hotel. Everything is in true venetian style. They had a great breakfast and a very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is very old school luxury. The breakfast room and tea room were my favorites. You also have a great little courtyard. The rooms were a bit stuffy though. Not sure if were in one of the smaller rooms because we booked through Costco...but the size was overly small in my opinion. The walls were this luxurious looking fabric material. While it was very nice, it made me feel like there was an extensive amount of dust in the room. Other than the small room with fabric walls, I don't really have anything bad to say about this place. The hotel itself is 3.5 stars. Rounded up because of the great staff.

Yelp
This hotel is NOT located with access to private water taxis. The only reason I booked this hotel was because they publicized their private dock with access for water taxis. The hotel was clean; however, the rooms are not comfortable. We were given the attic room with a slanted ceiling. I would not recommend this hotel to others, especially for 410 Euros/night.

Yelp
I can't believe this place doesn't have any reviews yet. Maybe it's more of a secluded out of the way hotel. The rooms are pretty tiny like you'd expect in any European city, but they are decorated beautifully. Your hotel stay includes a delicious breakfast with mimosa's, omelettes, waffles, and more. The hotel was really lovely and so was the staff. Venice wasn't my favorite place after being spoiled in Lake Como, full of tourists and crowded, so Palazzo Paruta was a welcome refuge in a sea of tourists.

Yelp
Loved this hotel! Located on the canals, Booked it through Costco, they arranged a private pickup from the airport which escorted us to a private water taxi, however the taxi was not able to pull in the hotel's private dock because of the water levels, and could not clear the bridges. But we were delivered to a nearby dock and our luggage was carried by the staff to our location a short 2 minute walk. Everyone was pleasant, extremely friendly and helpful. It was amazing! Our room for 4 was beautiful, grand, clean, comfy and roomy (AS PICTURED) The beds and sofa bed were both amazing and we got 2 great nights sleep. Upon arrival we had Champagne, cookies and a gift from Murano. The breakfast was amazing, better than any restaurant we visited. The espresso was to die for, the waiter probably made us 10 for each meal. We loved our short stay. It is about a 5 min walk to Piazza San Marco/St Mark's Basilica/ Doge Palace/Bridge of sign. Don't forget to wonder in the other direction to Rialto Bridge, and Saint Zaccaria district. Worth every penny! AMAZING time in Venice, so many church and museums.

Yelp
My wife and I visited a few months back and stayed in the Junior Suite with a canal view. No regrets! The room was palatial. My wife was even able to get a decent gluten and dairy free breakfast! Check out our blog randrwander to see the full review and pictures.

Yelp
I just came back from a 2 week trip in Europe and have stayed in 5 different hotels. This 1 was my favorite mostly because of its "superbly" accomodating staff. Since the hotel is small, they only have a few staff, each perform more than 1 task, here take the word "multi tasking" to a whole new different level so nothing to worry. Small staff but very efficient, they are hard working, go an extra mile to help and always serve you with a smile! Other perks: free wifi anywhere in the hotel, delish breakfast buffet, complimentary afternoon refreshments, clean rooms, close to a water bus station, and did I say the staff is awesome? Just making sure you get my point! Highly recommended I would definitely go back!!

Yelp
This hotel is amazing !!!! I booked two rooms, one for myself and one for my family. Out of all the hotels we stayed at this hotel is the most amazing. The staff speaks English , and are the kindest people ever . They have an amazing breakfast in the morning. The two men (one has curly hair and one is bald, sorry don't know the names) are the BEST thing at this hotel . It's an amazing buffet style breakfast / brunch. The curly haired man makes the best Crepes I've had in Italy , the bald one makes the best cappuccino's ever! We loved starting our day with these folks, they were always friendly , smiling and constantly made sure we had coffee / or whatever we needed. Our room included the breakfast, so I was expecting poor quality food however it was all fresh and amazing quality food . They also have an afternoon tea which includes pastries and tea sandwiches. Everything is lovely at this hotel , and it's the wonderful people at the hotel that make it so lovely. Front desk is fantastic as well ! Only thing I didn't like is the wifi , we barely had any on the third floor but I could careless because everything else was great ! Housekeeping is amazing . This hotel should truly be a 5 star hotel !! I would stay here every time I come to Venice !!!
