Liked - |Location|Views|Clean|The staff were incredibly helpful, especially Jude who was amazing when we were experiencing some difficulties with our onward stay (which had been abruptly cancelled). They found us another room for an extra night, with the best view in the hotel. The hotel staff really cared and Jude moved in other beds so my 2 children could sleep comfortably. We initially stayed in the quadruple room, which was massive!! We felt like we were staying with family.|Lovely location and nice and quiet.|Valet parking was a nice touch, although a little expensive….but was welcomed after a long hot drive.|Some of the breakfast was good and the manual Gaggia coffee machine operated by the breakfast staff was a nice touch.|Easy access to the main sites and village square, but also in a quiet spot. There was a coin slot laundry nearby if you are travelling as we were. Lovely restaurants close by and picture postcard views around every corner.|Would stay again.||Disliked · AC in the second room was a little weak, although the quadruple room had excellent AC. Small point and we didn't highlight it. Not enough fresh fruit at breakfast, not a great choice and cereals weren’t replaced unless you asked. However, overall was not as bad as we had in some places.||We thought valet parking was €25, but it was €25 per night, so this misunderstanding left us €25 lighter !||These are small points, as we did enjoy our stay. However, these improvements would make this a flawless stay.

The hotel is okay but very expensive for what it is. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was dark and pretty dated, it has an AC but it’s weak for the summer. The breakfast is terrible - the only cooked item is a gelatinous mound of scrambled eggs that sits out for hours and isn’t replaced. Eventually they made us some fresh boiled eggs but surely that should be standard? The location is great but generally pretty underwhelmed because of the price. Expect basic accommodation if you stay here.

Situated in the heart of Orvieto, a stone throw away from all major sights and activities. Convenient parking service and overall super-friendly and helpful staff. Due to the historical building, hotel rooms are characterful, fairly small but with nice bathrooms. Breakfast is hearty with excellent quality coffee. Orvieto, including this hotel was an eye opener for us. Sincerely recommend this hotel.

I stayed here for 3 months a couple years ago and it was a lovely experience. The service was top notch. Beautiful town, too!

Very good breakfast, easy parking, spacious and well equipped gym. Air conditioning worked well and the premises were clean. Very kind staff and overall good experience. The only minus was the shower, becase it was a bit small and the doors could have been better.

Fabulous place, exceptional service, incomparable value. Great breakfast and,amenities. The best in a gorgeous town. Only sorry we didn't stay longer

The hotel appears to have once been a castle that has a lot of interesting shaped rooms and arched walls and openings. Unfortunately, our room was one that was is an area with an arched ceiling. My husband is 6 ft 1 in tall and had to bend over to walk to the window and the side of the bed by the window. And forget standing in front of the toilet. The bed was comfortable. The water pressure and hot water supply was good. The shower was very small and leaked enough to flood the bathroom - but we ultimately learned how to keep that to a minimum. Breakfast was very good every morning and the staff at the hotel were very pleasant and professional.

The hotel is in a great location, entrance and history of the the Palazzo impressive, did not expect that ! The staff very helpful and accommodating, spoke english well. The breakfast that was offered, was very good. The rooms and the hotel overall was very clean.

An agent booked us here for two nights. We had no idea what to expect, but as soon as we arrived, Jude (concierge? Porter? Parking attendant? Bartender? He did it all!) came out to greet us and take over our luggage and park the car. What a relief after a long drive. We were in a building across from the hotel, but that wasn't an issue. Literally the nicest room I've ever had in a European hotel. Huge bathroom with counter space. Opened onto a shared lounge that was GINORMOUS. Small set of steps up, then elevator. Hot water maker, Nescafé, and fridge in room. A/C (wall unit, but totally adequate). Great location just a block or so from the town square. We walked to the Pazzo S. Patrizio, funicolare, Duomo di Orvieto. I just have nothing bad to say about this place. The best part was the service though. Outstanding. Jude is the man!
