A unique palazzo in the equally unique Soglio! Beautiful rooms and elegant service, without being pompous. The restaurant is delicious, both dinner and breakfast. The best way to enjoy Bernina and Bergel! You can start with at it’s sister property Berninahaus and finish at Soglio. Definitely a place to return…

Absolutely a brilliant experience, staff were very hospitable. The restaurant and the gardens were absolutely fabulous. Great food and service. Unbelievably good. Lovely meals and comfortable rooms. Beds are old school small and very comfortable. But not 2020 sizes. FYI Everything was fabulous. Would highly recommend. Thank you for having us. The team helped us book wine tastings and things to do! Very appreciative. One of best two nights stay we have ever had. 11/10!

Beautiful rustic hotel in a building from the 17th century in the heart of Soglio - great local food and a wonderfully quiet and inviting garden area perfect to unwind after a hike.

Been there for lunch. Had Pinsa and vegetarian barley soup, a local specialty in a vegetarian version. The soup was fantastic. Also to try: A Chestnut mini cake. Very friendly staff. In summer make sure to visit the lovely garden in the back.

This is the central property of this tiny village with a beautiful and serene garden as well as exceptional food. Unfortunately we were disappointed by our stay. We booked a premium room with magnificent woodwork, silk wall coverings and plasterwork ceilings but the furnishings and housekeeping were not what one might expect at this price point. The beautiful parquet floor has not seen polish in years, the bureau drawers would not open freely, and the bathroom had an unlevel ground concrete floor with one bare lightbulb over the sink. Our stay began disastrously when my husband sustained a vicious fall on the shower floor. It was as slick as ice and without a grab bar. Unfortunately, the next day a leg of one of our side chairs collapsed under my husband and sent him for his second serious tumble of our stay. The old wooden chair broke into pieces though my husband is not a large man. At this point we considered leaving early, as what was planned as a special stay for our anniversary was fraught with hazards and disappointment. We will not return here but hope the hotel succeeds because of its historical significance and importance to the village.

We visited the hotel and its garden at the recommendation of a local, and after a hike, we decided to grab lunch. We had the rosemary risotto with sausage, and it was spectacular! The rosemary infusion was present, not very strong, and the grilled sausage lent a nice charred flavour to the creamy rice.

Nice historic place but less glamourous than in some glossy publications. Famous garden closed due to "poor" wheather conditions - 22° bright sunny that day. We were able to get a glimpse over the wall. Seemed overrated from this perspective. Service/management not that customer oriented. Dramatically bad parking situation. Bothersome access for elderly people.

Beautiful garden to relax and enjoy the typical local products of the region.
