What a fabulous hotel! In the picturesque centre of Castellina in Chianti this is an ideal base for touring Tuscany. The hotel is so clean with very spacious rooms. Breakfast on the terrace is not only delicious it is very scenic too. The pool is gorgeous and plenty of space for lounging. The pool is reached by quite a steep staircase which might be tricky for anyone with mobility issues. Car parking is secure but not covered and a short uphill snd stair access to the hotel but following the directions it is east and convenient. There is a laundromat a couple of minutes walk away and countless eating options just steps from the front door. My advice is stay if it’s at all possible, we didn’t want to leave.

Our stay at this wonderful hotel in Castellina in Chianti was an absolute highlight of our trip. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained — a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the Tuscan countryside. Each morning, we enjoyed a very rich and varied breakfast, with fresh local products and plenty of options to satisfy every taste. The view from the property was simply stunning — classic Tuscan landscapes of rolling hills, vineyards, and olive groves as far as the eye could see. The hotel’s location was ideal: peaceful and scenic, yet close to the charming village center and well connected to surrounding attractions in the Chianti region. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing Tuscan experience.

We loved this beautiful hotel and we loved beautiful Castellini in Chianti. The games room and billiard rooms were astounding in their beauty. Staff were all so friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the view from the terrace. Perfectly situated to enjoy the town and all it offers. The room was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and we felt like we were in an ancient palace. Highly recommend.

Lovely hotel and grounds. We stayed four nights and had a wonderful experience - staying here was a highlight of our two week trip! Breakfast is excellent, staff are helpful and friendly, and the location is perfect for experiencing a Tuscan village, with walking to restaurants and shops easily accessible from the hotel. Be sure to visit the winery for sunset on the other side of town and learn about Super Tuscan’s, Chianti Classico or course and Malvesia 🍷.

I recently spent 4 evenings at this beautiful hotel in the heart of Castellina de Chianti. Not only is it a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms, but the amenities offered and staff were next level. There are several beautiful common areas on Floor 1, you can just imagine life back in the day when it was a family home. The pool was beyond peaceful, very clean and refreshing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had to leave to catch a flight at 3:30am and they offered to make a coffee, assisted with my luggage and made sure I met my driver safely. I stayed on the street side, and although the views of the valleys were beautiful I very much enjoyed hearing the hustle and bustle down below (never loud) and watching the action. The restaurant was delicious, wine shop very convenient and was nice to be so close to other restaurants and shopping. My air con worked great, as did the tv and wi fi. If you prefer to stay in a little village as opposed to a villa outside of town, this is the place!

This was the perfect hotel in the perfect location to explore the Tuscany region. The rooms were large and decorated in a Tuscan style. The staff went above and beyond on everything. A beautiful terrace overlooking the Tuscan landscape for enjoying a glass of wine or dinner. The town itself is a wonderful small town, but wonderful restaurants and small shops. The best!

Yelp
Totally enchanting old school hotel run by a charming woman who speaks flawless English. Great Tuscan views too. Most fairly priced, imo. Nice pool and spa overlooking the Tuscan hills The owners also produce a top quality Chianti.
