Hotel Palmyra Grand Inn - Cochin

I would have given -10 stars. The hotel is the most horrible place I have ever seen. The walls are peeling, the ceiling are cracked, no restaurant facility, bathroom are broken, cockroach and insects flying. This was booked through our agent who did not do their homework well. We ran away from this hotel inspite of giving full payment and booked ourselves in another fantastic hotel for the same price. Never make the mistake of booking here. I am sure the hotel will come up with their own lame and defensive reply. It's a horror story out there.

The pricing is reasonable and is probably the only positive here. However, the washroom facilities felt quite dated — the toilet seat and fittings looked old and stained and really needs replacement. The room did not have towels provided. With some attention to basic maintenance and housekeeping details, this place could improve

I had an excellent experience at Palmyra Grand in Kochi. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained, offering both comfort and a relaxing atmosphere throughout my stay. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional staff. Every team member I interacted with was warm, courteous, and incredibly helpful. They went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed, making my stay smooth and enjoyable. Their professionalism and genuine hospitality truly elevated the experience. I highly recommend Palmyra Grand to anyone visiting Kochi great rooms, amazing staff, and overall exceptional service.

We chose this hotel based on location and favorable reviews. The bathroomHad bugs crawling near the sink. The linens seemed old no longer white and crisp, and the pillows very poor quality all broken up, not firm to say the least When we left we had four pieces of luggage and no one offered to help us ( two ladies) until we got outside or the hotel. I would not choose to stay here again.

DON'T STAY HERE, RATHER STAY ON THE ROAD. Absolute nightmare. We had booked through a Travel Agent (Pepper Holidays) who assured us of a 'very good property'. Even after we had raised concerns after reading the reviews on the net, the travel agent lied to us by saying that they had personally inspected the property and found it to be up to the mark. The first room that they showed us had crumbling and mouldy walls, stained sheets and cockroaches flying around in the bathroom. The second room had a little less damp and mould but the walls were stained and it had no fan and an AC which didn't work. The third room had a hole in the roof, cockroaches crawling on the bed and dirty stained walls. We were also told that no food or drinking water was available within the hotel and there were no staff members who could buy stuff from outside. We would have to fend for ourselves. Tea or Coffee was also not available. The time was 8:00 pm. We decided to give up and luckily moved to a far superior property close by which provided clean, hygienic and habitable rooms and all the services one can expect from a respectable hotel.

What stood out the most was the exceptional service. Krishnendu at the reception was very courteous and ensured all my requests were taken care of promptly. The lady at the reception was also very kind and welcoming, providing great recommendations for local attractions. The hotel is well-located and made my stay in Kochi truly memorable. Highly recommend!

Just finished a wonderful stay at the Hotel Palmyra Grand Inn in Cochin. The room I booked was perfect-clean, modern, and very comfortable. The service was five-star! Quick check-in, helpful staff, and a great overall atmosphere. Everything exceeded my expectations. Will definitely be staying here again!
