Loved the location however the hotel is old and needs some upgrading. Between the rooftop restaurant and French Canadians it was very noisy. Cleaning only once a week. Very poorly stocked kitchen, poor towels….I wouldn’t stay there again.

Stayed here for the month of January. Rooms are big but dirty. Fans where black with dust and floors are filthy. U need to wear your shoes the whole time or your feet turn black. So gross. Mattress is 40 years old. Lol. Had to go to costco and buy a topper for the mattress was soooo bad. The noise is unbereable because of the high traffic area and 2 restaurants accross the street. The noise never ended. If you are looking for some quiet time, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE. Balcony is very very small, we hardly had room to sit 2 chairs. Very disappointed with the whole experience. Will NEVER rent there again. They have a hot tub on the roof top that they drain every 3 days as they dont heat it or use chemicals. Disgusting. As they drain it.....it it poors out and splashes onto several balconies...including ours. Eewww all that yellow, green water. Yuk!!! 🤮 This place needs to be updated. Everything is old and broken. It was the worst place we ever stayed. Stay away!!!! There are so many other great places around that are cleaner and newer. You get what you pay for. I give this place 2*. Thats it!!!!!

Old charming building full of character and maintained well. Beautiful glasswork on the entryway. Great rooftop restaurant and vegan cafe connected to the hotel. Private balconies in all rooms. Strong reliable wifi. A few blocks from the beach.

The rooms where great! The hotel had a beautiful view and the service was excellent. They are located in a perfect location with convenient access to the tourist locations that Puerto Vallarta has to offer without all the noise. Their restaurants were perfect, they had delicious food and wonderful service. They have a great variety of food choices all at a very close proximity which we absolutely loved! I completely recommend this hotel for your stay!

Great place! Beautiful Hacienda, very clean, well maintained with very friendly, helpful and kind staff. Although I injured myself (I looked up) the pool and beautiful views from my terrace kept me content. Thank you for the wonderful care. Sandi

Check in was a bit rough but this wasn't the hotels fault but Booking.com did not communicate very well with the front desk. The staff there handled it very professionally and all was well. When we got into our room it was immaculate along with entire property. We had a large deck looking to the west (ocean side), great shower, full kitchen too. Housekeeping was there every morning and kept it spotless. The entire staff did a outstanding job and all were very friendly and cheerful. There is a restaurant on the roof which was very good and a breakfast place on the first floor also. It was a pleasure to stay here and will be back next year!

Stayed here for 16 days. Wonderful experience. There are different classes of rooms. The best rooms have a kitchen and their own terrace. These are reserved years in advance. Forget about getting them. The rest have no view . All the rooms are old but clean. Nice towels, tube tvs with lots of English channels, new air conditioners. Average sized cement pool and deck chairs. Very friendly and helpful. Our hallway was cleaned at least 2 times per day. If you are looking for basic clean room with great friendly service, This is the place. If you want a fancy vacation spot, look further. New vegetarian restaurant just opened downstairs. The restaurant upstairs has one of the best views in town. Some reviewers said the meals are hit and miss. Ours was good. It is located near numerous small grocery stores and a large supermarket. There are taco stands all over. Bus stops are near by. This is 3 blocks from the ocean. So you only see the ocean in the distance. They are one of the few hotels that has a mission statement on their website. They practice what they preach.

A nice hotel, clean rooms, friendly, helpful staff. Good location if you like a walk. Plenty of good restaurants nearby and attached to the hotel. Only complaint would be the limited choice with the included breakfast. Although the dishes were very nice and healthy the options were juice/coffee, fruit bowl, then either oatmeal or chilequiles. These were nice but after a week, did want something else, but to get something different would have needed to order from the menu, which kind of defeats the purpose of paying for an included breakfast.
