Stay once, carry memories forever. This is what I was looking for whenever I view the units of where I can possibly stay while working at KL. For 2 years working at KL, I have stayed on 3 different addresses and has viewed a few units all over KL. Personally the only benefit I got when I viewed this place is the accessibility of transportation which is monorail. As you can see from the video the hotel does not have an elevator and the floor is made up of wood but the rooms are pretty decent for me.

The place was nice and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. The front yard of the hotel has a mini garden you can use any time. The hotel is in the center of the city and is a 10-minute walk to Berjaya Times Square. One can also buy drinks in the lobby. They have wooden floors in the hallways so no heels are allowed after 9PM as it says on the signs inside the hotel They don't have an elevator as well but they only have three floors so no worries. Definitely worth the money.

I booked this little guest house near Bukit Bintang as an end to a three week holiday in Borneo. I had emailed the hotel to let them know what time I would be arriving and they were well prepared. Check in was swift and we were sent to our room without fuss or delay. |The room was spotless, twin beds, aircon, shower/toilet, towels, TV (which I never watch) and some water. Yes I could have gone way up market but this hotel is excellent value and the staff are simply wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble be it Laundry, suggestions for sightseeing, advice on places to eat and drink as well as some pretty good directions to the Monorail and train lines when we wanted to visit Batu Caves.|Breakfast is available in the small cafe out front....we had egs and coffee 8RM. Beer and soft drinks can be purchased from the front desk also and they are less expensive than many bars in the area.|We wanted a late check out on our last day as our flight was in the evening and this was not a problem. They even sorted me out with a shower so I could freshen up before my flight.|The gentleman at reception was one of the most helpful, compassionate and kind people I have met. He wished us well and shook our hands as we left.||I can highly recommend Hotel Paloma Inn.||

I spent 11 nights in this budget hotel and found it very satisfactory for what it is. The location is excellent as it is a five minute walk to the Jalan Alor food court street and it is just about in Bukit Bintang. It is located on a quiet street. The monorail is just a few blocks away. The hotel can call a Grab ( Malaysian's Uber equivalent ) for you if you need one as they are very cheap, especially if you have two or more in the car.||As stated by others the rooms are basic. I did not like the interior room they were going to give me as it seemed too dark, so they had a room facing the front street. I do not like any noise at all and I am always concerned about taking a room facing the street. This street is very quiet and noise was not an issue at all.||Having the good size window helped to make the room bright. The AC was good, the bed was comfortable, the internet was good. The door is very secure with a new card reading lock. The safe was good even using a key instead of a combination though a little inconvenient . They do not serve a breakfast which is odd as they have a nice cafeteria and relaxing area to serve it. Around the corner is the VCR Cafe which is excellent for coffee, meals, desserts but it does not open until 9 a.m. I lucked out and found a great place for breakfast, a five minute walk from the hotel. It is in the Corona Hotel on Jin Tong Shin and it is a buffet ( eggs, juice, rice, specialties, coffee etc. ), all you can eat for 16 RM and you do not have to be a guest. Also, the place has a free English newspaper to read. It opens around 7:30 a.m. I had no issues with mosquitoes. Shower temperature was good.||A few minor negatives ( it is a budget hotel ): There are not enough draws for your clothing and not a good spot to hang any of them without being an eye sore. I kept most of my clothes in my luggage. TV channels are not good at all. it would be nice to come back from a long day and watch CNN,BBC, or Fox English news channel...I at least had the internet to keep me updated. The bathroom like many Asian hotels has the shower device next to the toilet and thus wetting the floor ( I shower at night as one of my last things, so it was not a big issue. ) The room does not come with any water bottles. I asked for some and they gave me some at no charge.||All and all a good budget hotel.

Love this place! Stayed here for the first time two years ago and we’re back again. Landed in KL at 6am from Australia and the original hotel we booked didn’t allow early check-in despite us telling them what time we were landing. Hotel Paloma was the only hotel we could find that would allow early check-in and book a room on the spot! ||- Receptionists/workers are very helpful and friendly! |- Beds are very comfy. |- Great aircon. |- Had minor issue connecting to Wi-Fi but reception were very helpful in resolving issue and now Wi-Fi works well. |- Location perfect for those wanting to visit Bukit Bintang and Jalan Alor, but also a little secluded so it’s nice and quiet. ||Going to be coming back here every time we visit KL. 👍|

Check in was easy. The room was rather bare - some paintings or colour would improve it no end. The bed was comfy. The internet was fast but they only gave me a pass for one device - don’t most people today travel with more than one internet-enabled device? No breakfast is offered. Bathroom is OK but the towel provided is very thin. There was a fair bit of noise as I could easily hear people checking out early in the morning and my room was very close to the reception and the night staff didn’t make much of an effort to be quiet either. A comfortable stay but could be nicer with more light and colour to the bland rooms.

Ended up a week stay here when original plan for 1 night. The location just behind Swiss Garden Residents and walking distance to Jalan Alor and major shopping mall. The bed is super comfy and very quiet area although located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. Friendly staff and very helpful when you need assistant, Free WiFi and good connection too. A few cafe around here serve very nice food like VCR and 8Haus. The hotel serve breakfast too at charge. I truly recommended this place.

Hotel Paloma Inn is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Room smelled of cigarette smoke so we requested another room. When leading us to the new room, manager ran up the steep stairs and expected us to follow at his speed (we were carrying heavy bags!) He never apologised for the bad room and once we entered the new room, he walked off without saying a word. Safe doesn’t work so we have no place to store our belongings. The air con blew hot air when it was set to 20 degrees Celsius. I cranked it down to 16 and it took more than 1 hour for the temperature to reach about 23 degrees, a reasonably comfortable temperature. The water heater and shower also didn’t work because of low water pressure. The water was dripping slowly even though I turned it to full. Fortunately, after asking the manager, someone fixed the issue. Also, the room is extremely small and has absolutely zero luxuries considering the price. Even a thin person would have trouble walking around the room. Power points are placed in all the wrong places. Free wifi was only given upon request. The view outside the window is just a wall. The bathroom is as small as the shower area in a standard hotel, with amenities to match its puny size. A soap bar the size of a sweet wrapper, no cups or toothbrushes or any luxuries at all. I know this is a budget hotel, but we could get a 3-star hotel nearer to the city centre for a lower price, especially using discounts on travel websites. It’s really a budget hotel without the budget. I will NEVER stay in Hotel Paloma Inn again. I am simply appalled by the standard of the facilities and service and the low value for money of this place.
