The rooms are nondescript, but clean. Good water temp and pressure. nice bathrooms. Big closet. Clean water available on every floor. With a room overlooking the city this hotel would be perfect-- I did not specify and therefore had a room facing a close-by building. The restaurant is decent and the staff is helpful. Staff will get a secure taxi to the airport for you for a reasonable price. I'll be back, for sure.

Great food and spacious basic rooms in the heart of the city. Food was slow at breakfast due to large groups. The rooms were clean and comfortable but the noise from the street was noticable. There was some noise also late at night with people coming back in and continually ringing the bell. Having said all that it was a nice place to stay and has a beautiful reception dining and bar area. The barman Jose was very helpful and friendly and deserves to have a special mention.

Older, dated hotel with small rooms in the historic district. They were a bit pricey for what you get but they were clean. Everyone was very helpful. They have arranged parking with a near by lot that is maintained 24 hours a day. I’m pretty sure it’s a family’s property and they rent the spots and live on site. They were nice and I felt as safe as I could parking there. If you need to park after they close or get in early there is a door bell sort of clicker on the outside. The hotel also closes doors pretty early. We arrived from cayala around 12 and had to wait to be let in but it is secure. The elevator was cool and old. Also, I really liked the location.

Stayed here for three nights with my friend. We are two 30yr females, and didn’t feel completely safe walking around once the sun went down to go get dinner. Uber eats delivers here, and Uber also picks up from the airport and drops off for a third of the price (5usd) that the hotel taxi will charge you. Every morning we had alarms set for 5:30 am for tours and flights. ||First night was a Saturday and there was wedding in the lobby of the hotel, very loud till almost 2am. Second night (Sunday) silence, until 11pm, then a marching band and the most fireworks I have ever heard in my life went for about an hour. The third night was better little quieter, but late check ins very noisy and children running up and down the hall way. ||The staff were very polite and friendly, barely anyone spoke English (I speak Spanish so I felt comfortable, but my friend had a hard time communicating). The room was small but was everything we needed. Clean beds, ceiling fan, extra blankets and pillows. Hot shower with good water pressure. I wouldn’t stay here again, maybe it’s quieter throughout the week but I would try something else. I do stay in a lot of hostels normally while travelling and this hotel gives a very hostel vibe. So it’s cheap and centrally located if your a heavy sleeper you’d have no problem, or just pack some ear plugs. ||Happy Travels

Stayed for one night as part of group tour. Room was a good size but very outdated. Chipped, mismatched tile floor. Clean but dingy bath. And PLEASE put a shelf by the sink and in the shower!!!! The rest of the group had dinner and were not enthusiastic about it. To be fair, it was 830-900 pm when our group arrived. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel had water stations to refill bottles.

This is a really nice hotel. The food was fantastic, especially the breakfast and papaya juice. It is located in the heart of Guatemala City, which is vibrant and bustling. The rooms are a decent size and the bathroom is good. I would stay here again for a future visit to Guatemala.

I was really happy to stay here and even returned. Service is great - ask Carina at the reception for a nice room cause there is a bud difference in which room you get. My favorite: room 239.|Nice area - check out Amarante Cafe 2 blocks away!

When there is a function at the hotel (which happens a LOT) you can forget sleeping. The whole hotel reverberates with the music and the staff do nothing about it. ||I had to move to a (slightly) quilter room at midnight and despite the hotel being empty I was refused to be given the option to leave bags in 1 room and sleep in the other - instead I had to pack everything back in my bags and move to a lower grade room. ||Staff could definitely have been more helpful !!||Such a shame, it could have been a much better review, but if you can’t sleep in a hotel room then what’s the point of staying there ???||
