Hotel Pandim on Secretariat Road, Gangtok, is truly a hidden gem. It’s more than just a hotel—it’s a traveler’s hub, perfect for those who want to stay away from the crowd and feel at home. The Bhutia family that runs it is one of the kindest I’ve met, and their hospitality is unmatched. The place is filled with a beautiful collection curated by the owner, adding charm to the peaceful atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommended!

Hostel is situated not far from the MG road making it walkable at all times. The staff is supper helpful and understanding. I would come back again for sure.

We stayed at Hotel Pandim for two days and the rooms were extremely neat and clean. The property is run by a family and are very helpful and cooperative people. The hotel has a very beautiful view and is close to MG road. A special mention that the owner of the hotel personally dropped us to the taxi stand at 4:30 AM when the taxi we booked did not turn up.

Great views from rooms. Neat and clean rooms. Good Service and good food. Special mention to the hotel owner who helped me a lot and was also available for any kind of help during the stay. And at last it's a great location also.

I was traveling solo to sikkim and got to know about this hotel through the hostel world. I took a 4 bed male dorm, and it was extremely clean and hygienic, the view from here of kanchenjunga is mesmerizing! The cost was perfect for my budget and I stayed there for a week. Mg marg is about 500m from this hotel, so the location is perfect. The hotel owner Mr. Kesang helped me a lot in planning and executing my travel itinerary. He arranged a vehicle for south sikkim and gave a nice budget friendly shared package to Nathula. When he knew that I was a trek enthusiast,he suggested me the Teenjurey trek and arranged a vehicle for it as well. Man it was totally worth it !!! If you ever visit this hotel, do try food made by Kesang, he makes it tasty ! Thank you Pandim and Kesang for making my Sikkim trip memorable 🥹

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Pandim. This is a family run space and I couldn’t have been happier that I landed on this spot among the ample options Gangtok has to offer. The location is a short 10 minute walk to M. G. Market but is still conveniently located in a very quiet area, the Hotel restaurant is delicious (i highly recommend their Tibetan Bread), the dorm accommodations are amazing considering the affordable price, the Hotel Dog is super cute, and all the Staff i interacted with seemed like great Humans. One more thing, if you get blessed with a clear day, the view of Mount Kangchenjunga from the Hotel windows is nothing short of breathtaking. If I ever come back to Gangtok, I will definitely be staying here again :)

This family-run hotel is a great choice for individual travellers, couples and families who are searching for a „home-away-from-home“: This is an older, a bit faded hotel (which is part of its charm) with various room categories - I recommend taking the luxury rooms because on good days, you will have great mountain views to Kangchendzönga.||Even if you do not book one of these rooms, there is a great roof-top restaurant and lounge with even better views where you can linger on rainy days or in the evenings. Staff is really friendly, and at the reception, they can speak good English and give tips what to do. The food is also good - there is something for everyone - Western International, Indian, Chinese and Local, all of them either vegetarian or non-vegetarian.||There is is WiFi and a laundry service (for which you will have to pay extra) - if you give the reception the laundry in the evening, it will be ready the next day.||The hotel is just 10 minutes walk down the steps to the town center.

My family had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Especially Room was very clean and well furnished with all view of Gangtok. Mr. Kesang, the hotel owner, was an honest and punctual person. He arranged our trip to north, south and west Sikkim and took care of well with very reasonable prices, so I had a comfortable trip. Overall, highly recommended.
