First of all, CONS- Bed bugs were found! The bed was super uncomfortable and made so much noise! The extractor in the restroom was extremely loud. The key for the room every new day will deactivate so we will have to go down PROS- the parking is included so was easy to use the car and the view from our room was good!

I attended a wedding at the top floor named Sky Room and tried to stay at the hotel and tryed to entered the parking lot with my car and a security staff a short person with a light gray Spanish beret denied me access even though there were rooms available and plenty of parking. If this is how they greet their potential clients, it is better not to go. It is good that this happened because I stayed at a fantastic hotel 3 and a half blocks away on Av. Carranza in front of an Office Depot. What a beautiful place, quiet, very clean and super friendly staff.

Seems that the rooms are newly remodeled and look fresh. Only thing that you can see is from the past, are the windows and the hallway carpets, which I'm not really sure why they didn't fix that while fixing everything else... the location is right next to one of the main squares, so walking distance to everything. Nice view of the city, but can get noisy on weekends. Free parking and great staff.

Great value and location. |The area was surrounded by shops, restaurants. Short walk to most historic sites and monuments. ||Our 9th floor room looked over the street below and the Plaza Fundadores. |Fast elevators.||Friendly, helpful staff. Easy check-in and check-out. ||Decent-sized, clean room. Comfortable beds. |Nice bathroom and shower. ||The room looked like it had been remodeled in the last few years. The pictures here on TA are old. ||The beds were covered by white duvets with purple sashes. The floor was a grey faux wood, and the bathroom had a tiled shower and respectable sink counter. ||Parking is free in the garage next to the hotel. ||We only stayed one night, so we did not see any of the other amenities, nor did we eat in the restaurant. ||The Wi-Fi was weak/ intermittent, || |I thought it was a great find in SLP. Comfortable and centrally located. Priced lower than its worth.||I would stay here again.

We have roomed here almost every year since 2004 and the last time was June 2019. We love this hotel. The staff has always great to us and it is close to everything down town. The breakfast buffet was very good. The parking area was convenient, but still under construction. I hope to go there again, loved it.

Great views, we were in 902. Arrived on a Sunday at 4pm, lady who checked us in was ok, she spoke very quickly and she didn't give us any options of keeping open room tab or explain the hotel what was available. The guy who brought up our bags was super nice and he explained everything to us. He opened windows put everything up and got ac started. When he left we didn't like our view on the 3rd floor we called down and asked if we could get another room with a view and he said yes. He would send someone for our bags and new keycard. Same guy arrived not bothered at all, 9th floor was great. The room is average, tv images at reception were not our rooms those looked like luxury beds, these beds were hard and low, the covers were old ripped and too bug for bed. The room was clean though the sheets as well. Very spacious, the air is right above the head area of the beds which made me wake up w sore throat but I just have sensitivity to ac, fans etc. The bathroom area is very small the door did not open all the way because the commode is right there. The shower is big and clean. However not well lighted. If you turn on the main lights for bathroom the fan turns on and was super loud and annoying. The pool is very well shaded but even on a hot day the water was freezing I couldn't even get in and my teen only lasted about 30 minutes. Was quite not really in use so I would go down to sit and read. The location is great. Everything is walking distance. Day or nightlife. Lot's of traffic during day walking is key to historic areas. Parking at hotel is included. I was alone with daughter and would go out and come back around midnight and felt safe. Parking attendant older man was very nice and on my last night he helped me take several things I bought up to room like a bell boy at midnight. Complete gentleman. Restaurant on 2nd floor had great breakfast buffet until 11am for 120 pesos a person. Worth it, make to order omelette or eggs your way. Great selection, chilaquiles were my fav. Would stay again for the low price. Would pay more if the beds and covers were updated. Location, views and service staff is worth the old beds.

Yelp
This is a very comfortable, well-run hotel in the heart of the Centro Historico of San Luis Potosi. It's reasonable, but offers well-appointed rooms, great bathrooms, and responsive service. You cannot go wrong with this location, right at the Plaza Fundadores, and steps away from the Plaza San Francisco, with its back streets of quirky craft-brew serving restaurants. Inside the rooms, you will find comfortable furnishings and excellent room service. If you ask for a room on a high floor facing the back, you will take in a great view of the city including several Spanish colonial churches and the hills to the south. With the lack of greenery in the desert area, the tiny little courtyard pool is a pretty oasis for guests. I was able to enjoy cool evening breezes there. Most of the fellow guests appeared to be on business travel related to the extensive auto industry in the area. The front desk sent up an engineer who fixed the lock on my safe. The beds were really fine. A slight (first world) complaint would be the curtains and carpets might be a bit outdated. I feel awkward even pointing that out and don't wish to ding the hotel for that. The Wi-Fi is free and quite adequate. The on-site breakfast buffet at their restaurant is highly recommended with an excellent Gordita chef-station and sweet service. Right outside their entrance are two to three coffee shops. Within a five minute walk are two excellent Mezcal bars and restaurants. They charge your credit card up front for the entire stay rather than charge it upon check out. So that is wierd but perhaps that is the common practice here.

Yelp
An old hotel well located, near the main plaza of San Luis Potosi. Spacious, with a large patio area on the back with a swimming pool. The rooms are a bit old, but clean and well maintain. The service is outstanding, all the employees are reading to attend your most demanding needs. It has a small restaurant next to the main entrance with wonderful food, and specially the famous arrachera, which I has for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Large parking space on the back with security.
