Good service, but very poor room hygiene||I stayed one night at the hotel. While the staff was friendly and the service was good, unfortunately the cleanliness of the room was unacceptable.||There was a rotten sock under the bed and hair from previous guests on the floor and in the bathroom. It was clear the room had not been properly cleaned. As someone who has worked as a housekeeper, I know how essential basic hygiene is in a hotel room — this should be a top priority.||Additionally, the pool area had no restroom available, even though it was crowded with guests. A bathroom in that area is a basic necessity.

Beautiful location, however it is run by an extremely rude and bitter man, who has displayed his character in many responses to other guests’ reviews. The hotel operates under the guise of being ‘ecological’ when in really they are just cheap. What’s ecological about serving crackers and cookies in individual plastic wrappers for breakfast? No cups or toiletries provided in the rooms either (why no reusable cups, or refillable shampoo bottles?). There are no outlets near the beds in the bedrooms. Forget about charging your phone, those who require a CPAP machine for sleep should consider booking elsewhere. Stay here if you would like to overpay to be underwhelmed.

Our stay at Hotel Panoramic Montepulciano was an absolute disaster. From the very start, we were met with an unfriendly, almost hostile welcome from reception. Things only got worse when we encountered the bartender — clearly intoxicated, loud, and rude to guests. It wasn’t just our impression: even the evening staff openly admitted that the barman has a serious drinking problem and that this causes issues regularly. Shocking.||||They charged us full price for drinks, only to either deliver something completely different or not bring anything at all. When asked, the response was defensive and impolite.||||The room? No air conditioning — during a heatwave — turning our stay into an uncomfortable, sleepless ordeal.||||And the breakfast? Just take a look at the photo attached. It’s honestly insulting. Cold, poor-quality, and unappetizing — even animals would pass on it. Tea was served in a mug, but coffee came in a plastic tumbler, which they called “eco-friendly.” It felt more like they were out of cups and just didn’t care.||||To top it all off, the hotel’s responses to guest reviews are some of the rudest and most unprofessional I’ve ever seen. Instead of showing even a trace of hospitality or accountability, they insult anyone who dares leave honest feedback. That alone says everything about how this place is run.||||Please, read the other reviews before booking. We wish we had. The view might be panoramic — but the experience is pure disaster.

Loved this place. Panoramic views all over and very relaxing plus the breakfast in the outdoors with great winery views, wish I would have stayed couple more nights. They also have a big pool with lots of walking area and parking.

Absolutely appalling – read the reviews (and their rude replies) before booking! Our stay at Hotel Panoramic Montepulciano was an absolute disaster. UPDATE AFTER HOTEL RESPONSE: Thank you for proving my point: rather than addressing guest concerns with any level of professionalism, your response is riddled with personal attacks, false claims, and defensive posturing. To clarify a few things: - The "six Aperol Spritzes" you mention? We were seven people, and that was our first and only order. The second round, which you were more than happy to charge us for, was never delivered because the bartender was clearly not sober and incapable of basic service. - A staff member watering the plants at night later confirmed this, saying (quote): "He’s a drunk alcoholic crazy person that the hotel gave a chance so he has a job." That says more than any review could. - Your version of events, which you claim to have submitted to Booking.com, is a complete distortion of reality — just like your responses to reviews here. You seem to operate in a fictional world, where criticism is a personal attack and facts are whatever you say they are. - As for the person responding to these reviews: based on the tone and erratic logic, it's safe to assume they’ve missed the same medication as the bartender. I stand fully by my review, and the way you've responded only reinforces what every reader can already see. You don’t need better reviews — you need better management. And possibly professional psychological help.

Good value, with great views!. Room Decor looks a bit old but clean. Not to be allowed to use the balcony was a bummer as the view could have been great!

I stayed at the beginning of November at this hotel and had 2 superior rooms with a balcony. The rooms were very large, clean, with some view from the balcony and modern bathrooms. At the reception there was a very kind lady who gave us a lot of useful information about the area. Also in the evening there was a gentleman who helped us with recommendations. Secure parking with enough places. The view from the hotel terrace is superb. The breakfast was great, the coffee and croissants were good, but at an Italian hotel it can only be an Italian breakfast with quite a lot of sweets, we improved it with some juice and it was perfect. Anyway, the lady who served breakfast was extremely kind. The only inconvenience for us was that there was no heat in the room, but that depends on the culture of each people, we usually stay at 22-23 degrees in the house from October to March. We thank the hotel staff for everything and hope to come back again.

Great place to cool down after a few buzzing days traveling around Tuscany. Will definitely return for a longer stay.
