Loved this place. Panoramic views all over and very relaxing plus the breakfast in the outdoors with great winery views, wish I would have stayed couple more nights. They also have a big pool with lots of walking area and parking.

Good service, but very poor room hygiene||I stayed one night at the hotel. While the staff was friendly and the service was good, unfortunately the cleanliness of the room was unacceptable.||There was a rotten sock under the bed and hair from previous guests on the floor and in the bathroom. It was clear the room had not been properly cleaned. As someone who has worked as a housekeeper, I know how essential basic hygiene is in a hotel room — this should be a top priority.||Additionally, the pool area had no restroom available, even though it was crowded with guests. A bathroom in that area is a basic necessity.

Good value, with great views!. Room Decor looks a bit old but clean. Not to be allowed to use the balcony was a bummer as the view could have been great!

I stayed at the beginning of November at this hotel and had 2 superior rooms with a balcony. The rooms were very large, clean, with some view from the balcony and modern bathrooms. At the reception there was a very kind lady who gave us a lot of useful information about the area. Also in the evening there was a gentleman who helped us with recommendations. Secure parking with enough places. The view from the hotel terrace is superb. The breakfast was great, the coffee and croissants were good, but at an Italian hotel it can only be an Italian breakfast with quite a lot of sweets, we improved it with some juice and it was perfect. Anyway, the lady who served breakfast was extremely kind. The only inconvenience for us was that there was no heat in the room, but that depends on the culture of each people, we usually stay at 22-23 degrees in the house from October to March. We thank the hotel staff for everything and hope to come back again.

Everything was perfect except the breakfast which was not fresh. The rooms and the view though, 10/10.

The hotel is in a beautiful location. The hotel is off the highway (SP146) between Montepulciano and Sant'Albino. A car is absolutely necessary to visit the hotel. The road off the highway up to the hotel can be easy to miss (be careful, the turn off is on a curve in the road and at an intersection). But once you drive the rough little road up to the hotel you won't be disappointed. The location provides amazing views. The staff are fantastic, kind and helpful. (We were in a situation where we had to move unexpectedly from a booking made at a different location. The staff at Hotel Panoramic were great at accommodating us.) The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. The hotel does not have a dining room, so you will have to drive back down the road to a nearby restaurant for dinner. The provided breakfast (your choice of sweet or savoury) is sufficient to start the day. It's all prepared beforehand and brought to you on a tray. Eating breakfast on the patio overlooking the view is a wonderful, peaceful way to start the day. There is a large swimming pool with lots of lounge chairs and a little bar to get a drink for a relaxing way to spend a summer day. The hotel may not be the most modern or full-facility hotel in the area, but the price is reasonable and for the price the location is absolutely perfect. The location is ideal if you plan to visit Terme di Montepulciano or the wineries around the region.

We had a 4 night stay at Hotel Panoramic, it was a last minute booking due to a change in our travel plans. We paid £300 for the stay. We were a little concerned by the reviews and the responses given to any criticism, constructive or not, that the reviews contained. We were pleasantly surprised! The hotel is on a very small access road and a car is needed but to be honest, I can’t see many people staying in the Tuscan area without hiring a car. It’s worth being just outside of the thick of things to see the views and feel the silence! It’s stunning!! Eating breakfast on a terrance overlooking montepulciano, beautiful! Montepulciano is a 5 minute drive from the hotel, there are small fruit stalls and a large supermarket also within 5 minutes of the hotel. We stayed in a small superior double, we had a kingsize bed (2 singles pushed together), a chair to sit in and a small balcony. There was a small chest of drawers but the only hanging space was on a clothes rail that was a bit buckled. It served us for what we needed but you may struggle if you are staying longer or if you have a need for a joining rooms as the rail blocked the door for this. The rooms are basic but very clean and serviced daily, there is a fridge in each room with a fairly large capacity. The bathroom was very large as was the shower cubicle. have a Mattresses are firm but that is to our liking. You can request extra pillows if one is not enough. The breakfast is basic but enjoyable all the same. It was the same each day and consists of; a croissant, butter, various jams, cereal biscuits, Melba toast, cheese and small sandwiches, Hot drinks including coffee and tea as well as water on request. The only constructive feedback would be a request for some fruit or yoghurt to be substituted for some of the biscuits, but we just bought some fruit from the local shop to subsidise it. I would not bother with the hotel coffee machine, it is €1 and barely a mouthful of cappuccino however we had our fill at breakfast and staff were very happy to bring you more than one drink or some water. The vending machine prices were not marked up hugely but we found it cheaper just to buy from the supermarket and keep in our fridge. The fridge doesn’t remain on if you leave the room, this may be an issue if you need to store meds or perishable but we didn’t have a need to try and resolve it, I’m sure they could if needed. We did not use the pool, unfortunately the weather wasn’t great while we were there and we found the pool was not heated. This appeared to be common amongst the other guests accommodation though, even at venues that cost a lot more! Overall, we paid similar to what a premier inn would cost us in the uk, in return we had incredible views, a comfortable bed in a clean room, a breakfast, access to beautiful walks and short journeys to beautiful towns! Staff were very friendly and happy to help, we didn’t have issues with the time that reception was manned, they also have a system in place when you return to the hotel late. Upon check out we did have a slight issue that we were asked to pay the tourist tax at 6am, just as we were running to catch a flight. We were told the card machine wasn’t available, we luckily had cash on us and had to pay for the other couple that were staying as we weren’t sure if they had We feel that they had cash. We do feel that we got very good value for money and we were extremely lucky that there were rooms available so last minute.

Very good location Extremely disappointing service and accommodation. The bathroom did not have the basics such as shower gel, shampoo etc. and it was in a precarious state. The furniture is very old and outdated. The bed was and pillows were uncomfortable. You can buy water only from wending machines that only accept cash. The pool area has great potential. The sun beds are plastic. The breakfast was also very bad. It was said that it was an eco type of breakfast, but I believe the term eco is wrongly used. The only good thing was the view. Update: to the hotel staff that responds to the reviews: You should take a management and communication course and learn how to accept feedback and politely reply to your reviewers. It just shows you do not appreciate your customers and are only in it for the money. I have looked at some of your other replies to reviews that were not favorable and they are extremely impolite. We chose this hotel because we believed it would be an amazing stay. That was not the case and the pictures show it. I am happy that you are fully booked for now. Wish you all the best in the future!
