Hotel Papa Germano

We stayed here for 3 nights when last in Rome and it was a great place. The room was nice, the shower could have been bigger, it's absolutely tiny! The beds were however comfortable and clean. Also the security of the hotel/hostel was very good indeed, 3 keys, one for the front door, apartment door and room door, great! Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly Papa Germano, and a very friendly receptionist. Price wise, it's not bad by any means bearing in mind city prices. Location is good, however, slightly difficult to find. Would return again!

A little gem! Great location very near to Roma Termini, the staff were very kind and helpful, rooms were very clean. Private bathrooms were adequate. Would definitely recommend if you are traveling from the train station and want a convenient place to stay near the station while you are in Rome!

A nice place to stay. Comfy beds. Welcoming staff. A little further out of Rome than we had expected but perfect location for the train station and only a 2 minute walk to the main sights of Rome itself. Overall, impressed.

We liked the location, super close to the Rome termini station. The staff was excellent; super friendly and made us laugh probably every day with their jokes :) our room was clean and the shared bathrooms/showers we're cleaned regularly as well; no complaints!

I only was there for one night but the staff was friendly and helpful, the room and bathroom were clean and tidy. I stayed in one of the dorm rooms and other than the beds being a little short like other places in Italy and no lockers the room was great. Even had a large sink in it and ample cupboard space with shelves above the beds. There were lots of electrictal outlets. Only issue was shower lacked a door so water tended to splash out of it all over the washroom though it dried quicky enough. No breakfast but there is a nice little cafe down the street. Would stay again!

I arrived at the hotel before checkin time. It was hardfully for me one night ago so I slept in a hotel while I was waiting my checkin time. One worker awakened me. He said to me coemin your check-in time means that get out now. That ok. On the other hand, a clean silent hotel that hotel, not a hostel I can understandthem too include breakfast but not various food. But close side for Spanish Steps. It isnice for nights.

This place won us over. Pros: Great location just 7 minute walk from train station and metro; very clean, good value, attentive staff. Cons: if you choose to share a bathroom it may be with 4 other rooms (though do have in room sink), no elevator.

I stayed for one night only. The staff was nice and welcoming, and the hotel location is great as it is close to Termini and in walking distance of many museums and churches. I would not recommend the hotel for a longer stay as it does not provide a lot of comfort: the room was very small and simple. Overall it was just what I needed for my stay and I was happy about it.
