Charming boutique hotel with a lot of character. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated, and the pool area is beautiful and relaxing. The location is great—close enough to walk to restaurants and beaches, but tucked away so it feels peaceful. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only downside is that some areas could use a little updating, like the pool, chairs by the pool, showers. The views from the second floor are beautiful. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, a wonderful stay and definitely a place we’d recommend.

Perfect choice for a traditional hotel. We got the best room - penthouse with kitchen and splash pool, and we used the pool several times per day. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location is 5 mins walking from the playa Principal (shops and restaurants), and right near the bus station. 1 block back from highway to convenient but still quiet. AC worked great, and the grounds and pool were clean. Chairs and hammocks in the pool area were a little "aged", but everything worked fine. Free drinking water in the lobby. Stairs only (but this is true of the whole town!)

Great value. Few blocks to the Playa Principal. There is no restaurant or bar service, but plenty available nearby. It is an old property with a nice pool and acceptable rooms. The pillows and bed linens did pass the stringent smell test. Showers ran hot. Staff was good. The parking lot entrance is tight for big pickup trucks, but manageable. Parking lot is secure. Recommended.

This must be one of the most beautiful hotels in Puerto Escondido. Stunning window and balcony views towards the ocean and the dreamy garden. Every window, every nook is ornamented and colourful. Very comfy beds and quality towels, the air on was heaven sent, and their staff super lovely. We jumped into the clean and well sized pool daily and chilled in the 2-person hammocks. We also found this part of town to be the most beautiful and non-touristy. Simply put - we’ll most definitely be back :)

Hotel Paraiso Escondido is a very nice place, with kind staff and the manager and is super cool and helpful. My parents were in a suite with a huge balcony where we often sat gazing at the beautiful view we had from there. It is located quite near the beach and there are shops just one minute away if you need water or food. The pool is big and the architecture of the hotel is charming. It would've been nice to have a mini fridge to store water and drinks in but no big problem at all, with the stores so close by. The aircondition is sublime, very low noise and get's the room perfectly cool. It is cleaned daily and the cleaning ladies are very thorough and do a good job. The whole place is a bit old but it's pretty, clean and has good vibes. If you're going to Puerto Escondido - this is a nice place to stay.

An older hotel but very clean and our room (suite) was huge. The rooms were cleaned daily and we were topped up with fresh towels, soaps and shampoo. The location is great, however the hotel doesn't serve food or drinks (there are plenty of options around so it's not an issue). I would suggest that the rooms keep a hairdryer, but other than that, no complaints!

We loved our time here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the grounds were well kept, and we felt at home. We loved the Terra cotta decor and the open spaces. We definitely recommend staying here, and we’ll stay the next time we’re here!

Our family of five stayed at the villa for a week. Anita and her staff were incredible, very sweet and attentive to all of our needs. The hotel is a bit older but has so much charm, think like the house from Encanto. We constantly had cold ac pumping into our rooms which felt amazing after a day playing at the beach. The showers it does heat up it takes a few minutes though. We loved seeing the iguanas, geckos, squirrels and two cute cats that our kids named. An amazing tacqueria just steps away too. We will be back next year.
