The view was spectacular and the location was perfect for our stay for 2 days which is definitely all the time you need for Montreux. ||The lady at front desk was great! The rooms could have a bit of love, bed and pillows weren’t great and definitely could invest in fans for the rooms. |Bring ear plugs if easily awoken as you can hear everything during the night .. we will never forget the perfect view!

The location couldn't be better. You just have to cross the street to get to the lake.|If you travel by train, the station ist just a 5 minutes walk away.|We had a small room but with lake view and a balcony. This was nice, especially in the evenings. The bed was very comfortable. We also booked breakfast (self-service, continental breakfast).|The receptionist was very nice and helpful. |We can fully recommend this hotel. We certainly will come back.

Great Location, The Lake and bus stop are nearby. I have a beautiful lake view from my balcony. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is old and dated with slow water pressure. Wifi is slow. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. Staff, especially the lady at the Front Desk is very nice.

Fabulous location for jazz festival 2025. Views from deck amazing. We enjoyed our lunch right on our own balcony. Purchased sandwiches fruity from local store. Staff very friendly and helpful. Walked to all restaurants, shops, bars etc. bus lines located near by. Our only suggestion would be to upgrade bathrooms.

The hotel is in an excellent location with a brilliant view to wake up to. The receptionist was fantastic - she was cheery and helpful and gave us advice on where we should go during the day. The room itself is a bit tired with an oversoft bed and a loo seat that didn't stay up and breakfast is fine but fairly basic. We would definitely stay here again though and strongly recommend it.

Went for one day stay and stayed in the lake view room. Overall a basic hotel but the location is excellent. The receptionist was super nice and allowed us early check in as well as storage of luggage after checking out. The only one minor negative we experienced was the lack of a mini fridge.

I stayed at this hotel in a very prime location—just a 4-minute walk from the railway station. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The owner was extremely helpful, and check-in was smooth and hassle-free. While the breakfast options were limited, the convenience of having many restaurants just below the hotel made up for it. Overall, a great experience and excellent value for the location.

Excellent location, super clean room, cold AC when I needed it, very efficient small room. One of the best beds of my trip. Loved the restaurant/cafe in front of hotel!

Yelp
Stayed for one night in September since the Golden Pass train route ended in Montreux, and the Chocolate train we were taking the next day was starting in Montreux. The Pros: 1. Rooms are clean and look pretty modern 2. Right outside the lake. We opted for a lake view over the garden view, and it was only $10 more. It was definitely $10 well spent because there are these door/huge windows that open up and you can look out 3. Shower is pretty big, considering the size of the bathroom 4. 10-minute walk to the train station 5. 2-minute walk to the Freddie Mercury statue 6. Chillon Castle is a 10-minute bus ride away, and you get a free bus pass when you stay at hotels in Montreux 7. Plenty of restaurants nearby The Cons: 1. Bathroom overall is small 2. Air conditioning is loud 3. I accidentally went to the wrong room, and my key card worked. Who knows how many people had access to our room Tip - not sure what happens if you need to check in past 10 pm because after that point, you need a code to get through the front gate, and no one is manning the reception desk.

Yelp
This hotel is ideal for anyone who's traveling through as it is really close to the train station and generally right in the middle of everything. Located right across the lake, the view is very nice (if you get the right room). There's nothing 'wrong' with this hotel, it's very modern and clean, but what it lacked for me was charm and personality. Some of the rooms are also quite dark and small. What really bothered me were the bathroom sinks... they have some sort of a system that only allows a tiny amount of water to come through, and every time you turned it on, it took a minute or even longer for the water to get warm. All in all a good hotel for a short stay, but it wouldn't be a place I would spend a week at. I prefer the Hotel Helvétie a little further down the street.
