What a convenient train station hotel! We were greeted by the welcoming Miguel. He was helpful, sweet, and knowledgeable about the hotel and the area. Our room was ready! I always ask for a quiet(er) room and when he showed us our ground floor room right next to the elevator, I began to protest. The noise, I said! You won’t hear a thing, he assured me. And he was correct. What was nice about the king bed room was that it had French doors leading to a little patio. Because of the drizzle no one sat out there with a drink or smoke, so it was ideal to crack open the door for fresh air and made the compact room seem bigger. The room was small but made good use of the space. The included breakfast the next day was in the small lobby: scrambled eggs, meats, cheeses, breads, jams, juices, fruit…the usual fare. I didn’t realize this until after we left but the hotel plastic key holder envelope included a map detailing among other things, the nearest pharmacy, ATM, laundromat, and supermarket. I would highly recommend this hotel if Gare de Lyon access is critical to you.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in and had the most comfortable bed. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We chose the included breakfast option and it was great every day. Though the rooms were a bit tight on storage, they did the job. The art deco style through the hotel is really cute. The proximity to Gare de Lyon was a huge bonus and made it really easy to get around everyday. We felt very safe coming and going at night. My only complaint is that they were having painting done during our stay (not an issue at all in common areas of the hotel) but our room was being touched up and we were not aware until after it happened. We were not made aware that someone would be in our room while we were out for the day. We also had to get our keys reset a couple times. For this, I take a half-star away. Though I would recommend asking for a room away from the road as it does get noisy, I would absolutely stay here again.

Great location close to the Gare de Lyon. Plenty of restaurants, boulangeries & paticeries in the area. While served daily, breakfast is NOT included with every room and is an extra charge. Be sure to ask if you’re not wanting the extra expense (there’s a great paticerie around the corner from the hotel which would have cost less).

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing. There was no room service available, which was really inconvenient after a long day. I requested laundry service, but they told me the washing machine was broken and they couldn’t help. The elevator was also out of service for most of my stay, so I had to use the stairs every time. I asked for bottled water, and they said they didn’t have any. Instead, they brought me a plastic jug of water, which was very unprofessional and not up to hotel standards. On top of that, I asked for help with my luggage and no one assisted me. I had to carry everything myself ! Overall, the service was extremely poor, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all. Definitely not coming back.

Great hotel close to Gard de Lyon but not so close that you would hear or notice that you are just around the corner from a main rail hub. The hotel is small but has everything that you would want in a city hotel. Decorated in a modern art nouveau style but with all the contempory fittings including USB ports etc. ||The hotel is just around the corner from the Gard de Lyon so very convenient if you are heading out to the south or east of france by rail. Local RER trains go from just around the corner as well. Lots of restaurants, cofee shops and snack food places very close buy. ||Rooms have all the modern amenities but are not very large, which is the standard in France. Great shower and plenty of hot water with all the usual Clairns shampoo etc. Fluffy white towels and everything was very clean and tidy. Rooms were very well maintained as a couple had doors open when we checked out and we had a quick look around. Room had a fridge and comp tea and coffee . ||Reception area is small but has plenty of seating and serves breakfast in the morning there is also a vending machine in the lobby area if you want snack food. Area with lots of local information and tours. ||There are a lot of big chain hotels around this area but if you want a more Parisian experience and small hotel feel this is a great option and i would recommend this hotel . Staff are friendly and welcoming but also have that slightly offhand parisian attitude, which is part of the experience.

Flew in from ontario for a competition. The hotel was Quaint and quiet. Staff was always friendly and smiling. Rooms were always clean. Great location to Gare de Lyon train station and multiple bus routes which made for us getting around a breeze. Definitely worth hanging your hat here.
