Bed bugs at the hotel room!
We stayed at this hotel for several nights, and unfortunately one of the rooms we were given was infested with bed bugs. This is completely unacceptable and represents a serious hygiene and health issue. We had to report the problem ourselves, after which we were moved to another room, but the situation had already caused significant distress and inconvenience.
By the way, the receptionist was not surprised at all. They even said that this is a recurring problem at the hotel and admitted that a similar incident had happened as recently as 2–3 weeks ago.
What made the experience even worse was the extremely poor handling of the situation by the staff. We received no real help or support despite repeatedly asking for basic assistance, such as garbage bags to isolate contaminated clothes. On multiple occasions, staff members promised to personally help us, yet no one ever followed through. The lack of empathy, accountability, and professionalism was shocking.
As a result, we suffered considerable financial damage, including the need for professional laundry, disinfection, and long-term isolation of some personal items. Given the severity of the issue, the 20% discount offered is completely inadequate. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and we cannot recommend this hotel.
