Hotel Park Plaza

We didn't stay at the hotel but went here twice for drinks and a light dinner. It is lovely to sit on the rooftop, enjoy the breeze and see the lights of the city and the temple. Good selection of drinks and reasonable prices. Although only have the sweet Indian red wine - 240 INR for 187ml bottle. Vegetable spring rolls, french fries, chicken wings and chilly paneer all ok. Food nothing special but have had worse! Service ok, not overly friendly but pretty efficient. Good place to have a drink and unwind after a day in the chaos of the city.

Booked one day back. The rooms and services are good. All the facilities are available in the hotel. They were providing complimentary food also. Overall is good. But the price for one day is higher. If money is not a problem you can choose, but definitely we will get same rooms and services within a medium budget in the surroundings. Location : 8/10 Rooms : 5.9/10 (For the price it's little bit disappointed and washrooms are not up to the level) Amenities : 6/10 Service : 7/10 Complimentary breakfast : 6.5/10 (based on the menu availability, taste and service) OVERALL : 6.7/10

Save yourself and don't book this hotel. Hotel doesn't provide basic things like tissue paper in the bathroom. They mention King bed and provide 2 single beds. They mention tea coffee in the room, but nothing is there. When asked they said 24 hrs room service can be ordered. Room service doesnt answer call even at 6:30am. Reception takes over 30 mins to send just water. And to top it all, Hotel staff is rude.

I had a flight to catch in the morning. Told them to pack breakfast as it was included in my room fare. The reception staff is very unbothered and non cooperative. They told me to wait until it opens. I said give whatever is ready as I have to catch the flight. They did not care at all. Extremely impolite people. Customer experience is zero

Very bad and rude front office staff. They don't respect for customers. Since the full payment is made online, they don't care. There is no control over Air Conditioner in the room as the cooling is set by the hotel and cannot be changed. They have kept a remote for A/c but it is for Off and On only. Cannot set the required temparature in the room as per our requirement. I complainted many times but no response. Once the front office person told me that if I don't like A/c, I should put if off. I spoke to the General Manager Mr.Sentil Kumar, but of no use. Because of this I suffered with cough and cold. He did not respond to my complaint. Dinner items are not available in the hotel. Hotel is happy to sell liquor and make money. I strongly recommend not to prefer and stay in this hotel. With the rates they charge, there are many more options available around. I visit Madurai for 5 day every month. This hotel has lost a permanant customer for life. I will never in life will choose this hotel.

Rooms were good and bathrooms were decent. The tap was rusted and was hard to open. Water was leaking from the tap as well. Staff service was decent. Location was average and was little far away from the temple. This hotel has the scope to improve. Restaurant was really good and had variety.

Booked the hotel for one night stay. Reception staff was cooperative and helped us navigate local needs. Comfortable room. Couldn't try breakfast due to early am flight.

Rooms are very clean. Very good hospitality. Manager Balaji helped a lot. Very near to Railway station and Temple. Temple view restaurant is the best. Very good service. Best hospitality. Very limited car parking. Food is good but need some improvement in some food items.
