Worst experience. The building is very old and dirty. No cleanliness at all. The wooden staircase is worn-out. Rooms are dirty and and old and requires painting. Tv is not working and worst is there is No response from hotel guys. They don't provide bottle water for drinking. Totally not worth for rs 2200 they charge. Maximum we can give rs 500.

Good point for this hotel is its superb location. Almost next to Mumbai Central railway station. Its located on Lamington road and opp to Famous Navjeevan Society.||||Its a kind of budget hotel . Rooms are small but CLEAN. have all the basic amenities like AC, TV, Fridge etc.||||Hotel offers free breakfast to guests but thats not kind of Buffet. They had few choices that we can have in our BF. taste was yuk..||||Only bad point for this hotel was its free breakfast.||Rest all good from location to staff to rooms.||Will stay again in future.

Fairly Ok. It's a budget hotel, so can't expect much. As with budget hotels, the room size was just fair enough for two people. There was a mini fridge with water bottles and soft drinks. The room that we got had two separate beds. The problem area was the bathroom. The flush wasn't working, so we needed to pour water using the bucket. The shower too was wierd; water was sprouting out from the sides, or the rim of the shower surface. There was no water from the central area resulting in hardly any water hitting the body. Again had to use the bucket for bathing. The other thing is, they were asking too many questions at the reception while checking in. They were asking the purpose of the visit, and the places that we will be travelling, and things like that. It kind of annoyed me; none of their business.

Hotel Park Shilton is one of the dodgy scam hotels in the city who have no interest in providing a pleasant hotel experience or good customer service. Instead they are simply interested in scamming customers, lying to them and ripping them off.||This hotel works in partnership with a scam company who advertised fake hotels, this company is called vista rooms. Avoid vista rooms at all costs!!! ||For a full account of how vista rooms and Hotel Park Shilton tried to rip me and my fiancé off please read my full vista rooms review by clicking on the link below ||http://www.tripadvisor.in/Hotel_Review-g304554-d8014499-Reviews-Stay_Vista_Rooms_Mumbai_Central-Mumbai_Bombay_Maharashtra.html||||I do not speak d a night at this hotel however I was invited to look at 3 different rooms. The rooms at Hotel Park Shilton are not as advertised. They are small, dirty, unhygienic and scruffy. The rooms have dirty sheets and pillows with brown stains on them. The carpets and floor are filthy and there is a foul smell in the rooms. The rooms are also full of flies. There was no private bathroom in any of the rooms just a very dirty and blocked toilet. I have stayed in various budget accommodation in different parts of the world but I have NEVER witnessed a room so shockingly bad and filthy as the ones here. ||To top it off the guy on reception wanted £50 per room! Anyone who has travelled in India knows that £50 per room per night can buy you luxury in India not dirty scruffy hostel style rooms.||The staff we dealt with during our short visit here were unprofessional , rude and unfriendly. The porters and security guard just stared at me me continually but would not speak to me making me feel very uncomfortable and they simply grunted a brief hello at my fiancé and then gave him filthy looks. The guy on reception appeared friendly and helpful for the first five minutes but it soon became clear he was a dodgy con artist who was telling lies. His English was perfect for 25 minutes and then when I questioned him on one of his lies suddenly he did not understand!!||Avoid this hotel at all costs and please click on the link to read the vista room review. AVOID VISTA ROOMS!!!

The room was nice and clean, only cold water tough. The staff was a bit slow, but polite. There was a fridge with water and sprite (extra cost, of course). We managed to negotiate a lower price also. Overall, a nice experience.

Good hotel for the price range. Though room size is small the amenities are not bad, including mini bar. Some foul smell is there but can be corrected if asked for room freshener.

My experience with this hotel was not very good. Good thing is close to Chowpati and it is moderately priced within that area. Rooms are OK but service is average. They have a bit of trust issue on payments. The disgusting and horrible part is you can expect a police raid anytime and many times at the middle of the night with unnecessary enquiries and questions. Will avoid. Huzayf

The hotel is not safe. It can collapse anytime. The ceiling is kept under temporary construction support. The rooms were very smelly and uncomfortable.|1. Poor bed and blankets|2. Torn towels|3. No toiletries |4. No hot water|5. Not even complementary water|6. Bed bugs and insects inside the room|7. Poor lighting|8. Damaged and peeled of walls /ceiling |9. No lift and damaged staircase|10. False notice as renovation in process as no work can be seen happening||Only respite is somewhat nearby to marine drive apart from that nothing.||Totally a horrible experience and a lesson learnt. |
