I must first say that the staff were extremely helpful, particularly on reception . The room was adequate however having a plastic shower curtain these days is a bit old-fashioned, also having to pay rental to use the safe in the room. I felt quite mercenary on their part.|as the water in the room was labelled undrinkable I was surprised to find that to have water with a meal came at a charge.|I did point out to the management that there is EU regulations stipulating that water must be provided free under the circumstances.|However, my biggest problem is that I was the only English person at this hotel.|The hotel is clearly designed for German speaking guests. Sadly some of them displayed the type of character one would not wish to be associated with for instance moving my towel and belongings from a particular sunbed around the pool because they wanted that favoured position.. there were other incidents which I will not go into, but we’re just as irritating and disappointing.|The truth is this is a very nice hotel with adequate food and excellent surroundings. However it must be pointed out that it is in every respect a hotel catering for German speaking guests. because of this I had breakfast on my own. I sat by the poor side on my own , I at my evening meal on my own and likewise with the evening entertainment.|I truly tried to engage people in conversation, but I was made to feel an outsider.|I enquired with the management at the Hotel regarding its occupancy and they confirmed quite willingly but the Hotel caters in every respect for German speaking guests.|Due to feeling so uncomfortable, I cut my holiday short and came home instead of having to endure the isolation.|I must also repeat because it’s only fair to do so that the staff were excellent and you do in the end get quite used to being addressed in German!!🇩🇪
