This was our first time staying at this hotel. Fantastic experience. Close proximity to El Paseo restaurants and shops. The hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming. Valerie and Devon at the front desk went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The pool is smaller, however very clean and the bar staff (Neil) also extremely friendly. He walked around making sure everyone was comfortable, things were clean and asking if anyone needed anything. |In addition the rooms are nice and clean. We will definitely go back.

I visited for a business trip of a few days and stayed at the hotel during a sales event. The hotel's trendy, stylish, bright, and clean design impressed me. Its convenient location offered easy walking access to numerous restaurants, and beach parking was readily available. The staff provided friendly and wonderful service. The hotel's artistic atmosphere and the spacious, clean rooms, particularly the large bathrooms, were exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will certainly return for future trips. The excellent location and nearby restaurants, combined with the outstanding service, make this hotel highly recommendable.

I had a wonderful weekend at this hotel with a girlfriend celebrating Mother’s Day. Rooms were nice with a pool view. Larkspur Grill is the restaurant on property that also includes a nightclub and has live music on Friday and Saturdays It has a cool vibe, but I prefer the pool during the day with great poolside hosts playing fun music. families were there with their children, but it wasn’t overcrowded all of the staff were very nice and friendly. The reason for four stars is because there were french fries and dead bugs on the hot tub pool deck. Plus there is a gentleman in the valet staff who needs to learn hotel guest etiquette when being the shuttle driver. He needs to pretend that he’s dropping his mother off and get out of the van open the side, heavy panel door and help a lady down three stairs. you don’t just hit the unlock button and say OK there you go. said with love and kindness. 🥰 this property is rated as a four star hotel however there’s a few elements missing to compete with the Ritz Carlton.

I came here for work and was unsure where to stay, but a friend recommended this place. I booked a room and am a very happy customer. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the bathroom was particularly large. The service was friendly, and the hotel has a very artistic and trendy atmosphere. Its location is excellent; it's within walking distance of many high-end boutiques and wonderful restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying here.

My friends and I stayed for four days and had a wonderful time. The hotel has a great location within walking distance of upscale shopping and excellent restaurants. We spent time by the pool which was not crowded and we received great service. Two of us had massages at the spa that, although small, was comfortable and relaxing. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable and, although the hotel was fully booked, we never had an issue with noise.

We were in town for the Palm Desert Food & Wine Festival. Since this was our first visit, we wanted to stay somewhere convenient. Not sure what's up with the negative reviews, but we had a great stay!||From our arrival to check-out, the staff were very friendly and helpful, offering suggestions for dining and sightseeing. The room was very clean and well appointed. Bed was incredibly comfortable (but a little high for someone with shorter legs) and pillows were so soft!! ||If I were forced to find fault, the only negatives would be:|1) it's a long walk to your room from the elevators|2) we stayed in a suite which didn't have any lights in the living/sitting area other than a desk lamp or the main foyer light. Maybe a floor lamp would be nice.||Highly recommend the Hotel Paseo and we will definitely stay here, again, on our next visit.

Hotel Paseo is a fantastic place to stay in Palm Desert. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and beautifully designed—perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights is the casual outdoor area in the back, which is a great spot to unwind with friends or just enjoy the desert vibe. The on-site restaurant is excellent, offering delicious food in a stylish yet laid-back setting. There’s also plenty of local parking, which makes everything super convenient. Whether you're staying overnight or just stopping by for a meal or drink, Hotel Paseo has a great atmosphere and a true local feel. The staff are always friendly and make you feel genuinely welcome from the moment you arrive. There’s also a great coffee shop inside the hotel—perfect for grabbing a quick morning pick-me-up or relaxing with a latte in a comfortable setting.

My daughter and I stayed here for the weekend and had an absolutely lovely experience. I see there are a couple of comments here about the pool noise. We did not experience that and we had a room on the first floor pool side. We heard no music at all. We had a king room and it was lovely. The outdoor area is beautiful which includes the Lemon Drop Bar, golf putting green and an airstream trailer on the property which I think is just “decor” but not sure. In addition to the pool area there are seating areas with a fire. The colors are gorgeous. Inside there is foosball or something like that and multiple seating areas. Also a grab and go type cafe with Latte’s etc. The restaurant, the Larkspur Grill, is accessible from both the inside of the hotel and outside. We had happy hour food and then went back for dinner. On Friday night there was very loud music. Dining on the patio is the best if you want to avoid screaming at your dining partners. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The valet parking fee is included in the hotel resort fee and they are very efficient. Scan your ticket and they notify you when your car is available. It was literally 5 minutes. Abs, of course location is spectacular just footsteps from El Paseo and the fabulous shops and restaurants.

Yelp
199/2024 My second visit here and this time got to book a night (courtesy of my daughter) to get that celebrity feeling and was not disappointed. Our Room had a fullsize pool table in the living room area with a big screen Tv and a decorative non working record player. Hubby enjoyed a quick game of billiard by himself... I wished I knew how to play!!! I just wished the record player was actually working then it would have been fun listening to the music like old times on those vinyl records. Bed was so comfortable and for sure had a goodnight sleep. Love the vanity mirror in the bathroom. Will surely come back one day for a vacay with family.

Yelp
Clean and beautiful but my room on the top floor has a weird humming noise that never goes away.... That was the most annoying thing besides lots of street parking and you still have to pay the "resort" fee that incl. free valet. I like that it had lots of extra games to play around the courtyard and the pool was nice but was a bit on the dirty side even though someone water down the cement every morning.. Other than that comfy beds and beautiful hotel.

Yelp
I decided to book a two night stay here for an impromptu trip to the desert in October. During my last desert visit in July I stayed at The Ritz (also a Marriott property) in Rancho Mirage which was ideal for its proximity to Palm Springs and the resort grounds which offered a true getaway. This time around I wanted to try a hotel that was more affordable and in the "heart" of town. The best thing about Hotel Paseo is location and the fact that it's an Autograph property which gives it a cozy boutique feel. Being that its walking distance to restaurants and shopping makes for a lively cosmopolitan experience. It's also a 5 min drive to the zoo, which I love visiting everytime I'm here. I also feel the hotel's location is ideal for experiencing all of what the desert offers as it's in the "middle" of Palm Springs (25min) and Indio (22min) for Coachella/Stagecoach festivities. Valet parking is included in your resort fee, and there is street parking right in front of the hotel for faster service if you're going back and forth to your car. What I also appreciate is the hotel is relatively new (6 years old) and is maintained very well. I'm extremely particular about cleanliness and had no issues with our room. I did not get to enjoy the pool and spa but it's a very happening place midday, though it's a bit basic in my opinion. DISCLAIMER: Due to the affordability and lively nature of the guests staying here I did have to deal with the smell of weed periodically coming through the sliders of the balcony which was a little annoying. Pro tip: One of our favorite Mexican restaurants in the area is Fresh Agave Mexican Bar & Grill which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We also enjoyed light bites and drinks at Tommy Bahama which is a hop, skip and jump away.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel. Warm, friendly and accommodating staff. Impressive & well designed lobby. So realistic wall paintings. Elegant old school cadi on display at lobby. Went up to our room and was impressed as soon as we opened the door. Very spacious suite with welcoming ante room table billiard (if you play billiard) Very comfortable king size bed and good size shower with fresh clean towels. Overall elegant room but disappointed with non working coffee maker. Had to go down and got a not so fresh tasting cup. Staff very nice and friendly. Very nice short stay. Overall, still a very good experience. Will most likely come back.

Yelp
Most memorable experience at Hotel Paseo?Their power shower head!!!! OMG!! It's the absolute best water pressure ever!! You feel like stepping out of a spa. Another great perk is it's so centrally located to restaurants, and shops. And the hotel has yoga class, and fun amenities. Definitely worth a revisit next time I am out in Palm desert.

Yelp
Very "Hip" , eclectic non -average Lobby Art . The unbelievably cool convertible in the lobby and Vintage Airstream trailer on the patio beg one to brag with a selfie or two . Lovely pool area with its own bar JUST FOR GUEST had all the velvet rope vibe . The Grill however said everyone welcomed to chill with live music and "California Fresh"menu AND MIXED DRINKS options

Yelp
We recently had a five star experience at this lovely hotel with our two pups. You could not ask for a better location directly across the street from the Paseo shops with their wonderful restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is immaculate, modern, clean and beautifully decorated, and it has an incredibly infectious vibe. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms & bath rooms are generous and beautifully appointed. The pool area with all of its amenities is so much fun. The pool itself is lovely, there is ample seating, a wonderful fire pit, a great game area, including miniature golf and cornhole, I mean there is something here for everyone! The restaurant and bar are also very good, and I cannot wait to come back and stay here again.

Yelp
This hotel is right in the middle of paseo shopping area. Next to Tommy Bahamas. It's clean comfortable needs some repair work. Staff is friendly they have two Tesla chargers. More of a 3 star hotel but it was priced well for the area .

Yelp
I used my Marriot points to stay here for one night while in town. The service was quick and accommodating. The room is clean, spacious, and up to date. It comfortably accommodated the three of us. I love that the bathroom amenities included full size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I usually bring my own since hotel mini toiletries don't go a long way. The location is seemingly convenient and it wasn't too crowded for being the weekend. Maybe it was because it was almost 120° weather? In regards to the heat, the air conditioning was wonderful and we ran it on full blast. For parking, there is valet and street parking. There is a parking structure too right across but we had to move our car before 11pm since it belonged to a nearby shopping center/mall.

Yelp
Finally a clean fresh hotel in the dessert with a reasonable price. From Vallet to front desk to pool bartender..." WE LOVE TREVOR!" to cocktails and food. All Here for that staycation! You can Even walk around the corner for fine dining. Sorry Renaissance your out dated rooms and dirty pool must pass for now. It was great but time to move to newer and cleaner. Lastly DEVON M a pleasure meeting you and thank you for talking the time to hear my needs and comments! See ya guys in 2 weeks.

Yelp
Lucas and Devon were very helpful and pleasant to work with. Hotel has nice rooms and great location. Recommend this hotel.

Yelp
Hotel Paseo, part of Marriott's Autograph Collection, is a hip boutique hotel in Palm Desert's El Paseo District. The space is uniquely designed. There is a classic convertible Cadillac in the lobby, and all the artworks and pops of bright colors create a trendy, modern, and luxurious feel. My boyfriend and I stayed one night in a poolside terrace room. The rooms do not go directly out to the pool. However, we were on the ground floor, so the pool was only steps away. We had fun relaxing at the pool, working on our golf putting, playing table tennis, and sipping a few drinks at Lemon Drop Pool Bar. The outdoors area had a backyard feel to it, especially with the vintage 1950 Airstream there. It would be cool to stay there, but it does not seem like a bookable suite at the moment. We opted to go out for dinner, but Larkspur Grill is the onsite restaurant, and they have live music on some of the evenings. The other onsite food option is Cafe Paseo. Plenty of food options are within walking distance though. There is a $36 resort fee, but free internet and valet parking make up for it. There is also yoga in the morning and shuttle rides to the nearby golf course and shopping area, but we did not take advantage of either of those perks. The only downside was that we had originally booked as suite, but a mix-up happened, and we ended up in our poolside terrace room. However, the room that we were in was nice, and the staff was very kind. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Paseo and would stay again in the future.

Yelp
It was a disaster from the moment we walked in, and the incompetent manger, DeDevin McDowen, was extremely rude and inhospitable, making things far worse. Lots of things went wrong. Door lock was not working, and when maintenance was sent, they broke it further and left. The broken lock now prevented the door from opening from the inside, which is a fire hazard. Called the staff and did not care. I adked for someone to let us out and give is a new room. And still nothing. The manger said "it happens, so what? What do you want me to do about it?" She continued to be rude to us the entire time. She should be fired.

Yelp
Called for a room while I was driving to the hotel Paseo and was started to ask me a lot of questions. Would I like texting or go online for the easiest way to book a room call back to tell him I'm driving you need an operator to book a room and finally just hung up love the hotel, but will never stay there again.

Yelp
Mixed bag. The hotel itself was wonderful, great vibe all the way around, but unfortunately, my room was directly above the restaurant and was a corner room on the street. So, between the noise from the music downstairs and the traffic, plus the fact that they were tarring the roof of the building next door, as well as the loading dock alley for the hotel was right below my room, it was a constant cacophony of noise most of the day and into the evenings. I tried to change rooms, but was told there were none available. Would I stay here again? Probably, but I will make sure to ask for a quiet room away from all the noise if possible.

Kyle R.

Yelp
Unfriendly and unaccommodating. After prepaying for 2 nights and needing to leave early to get home to my sick child, the front desk manager (Devon) showed no compassion and would not refund my second night despite me offering to pay the full room rate that I had originally been discounted. I was really disappointed with the lack of empathy and unwillingness to help. I've never been treated like this or experienced anything like this at a hotel before. Moreover, the hotel design and accommodations are just cheap and poor quality. There is no apparent theme to the property and feels more like a bright, cheap 3-star motel than an Autograph Collection hotel. Overall, Hotel Paseo is well located and a clean, convenient place to rest your head but don't get your hopes up if you're looking for a nice, unique experience. I'd definitely sacrifice convenience to not stay here again.

Yelp
I had an amazing experience. I was welcomed by Giovanni Castellanos which is outstanding, very helpful and went out of the way to make our stay special. Julian at the restaurant was another super star and gave us outstanding service when we ordered breakfast! Oh I almost forgot the Able at the Valet was great and gave us a ride last night to one of the restaurants in town!

Yelp
Hotel Paseo in Palm Desert is a cute, hip, modern getaway just a few hours from Los Angeles. It's the perfect place to relax. Most shops and restaurants are within walking distance. The rooms are clean and inviting - soft pillows and clean towels await your oasis. You must try their onsite SPA (AMAZING). The staff is friendly and helpful and the complimentary valet service makes it easy to drop off your vehicle and not wander in the desert heat looking for a parking spot. You can enjoy a cocktail/beverage by poolside or hot tub by utilizing the poolside bar or café with plenty of room for you and your friends. The pool is a decent size with plenty of towels stocked nearby. You can partake in fun activities such as corn hole, table tennis, board games, and a small putting green. There a few negatives: (a) The Lemon Drop (poolside bar) does not list hours of operations. I swear they were closed by 4pm during our visit. This is really disappointing because the pool does not close until 10pm. (b) They should install a misting system for the valet staff (even for customers) at the front of the hotel because standing in 100-degree weather can be brutal. Overall, I will definitely stay here again.

Yelp
I recently had a very positive stay at this hotel. It's a newer built property, with a sleek, modern design. The lobby area is beautiful, and the artwork displayed throughout the common spaces was a really nice touch. The pool area and fire pit seating area outside were very inviting. Check-in was fast and easy, and the front desk staff was friendly and professional. The location is ideal- tucked away from the main drag of El Paseo, but an easy walk to everything you could want or need. The room I stayed in was extremely clean, which I very much appreciated. The bed was plush and comfortable. Furniture and upholstery were in great condition. The reason I'm not giving it 5 stars, is due to the noise factor. This hotel has a problem with their room doors. They all SLAM. There is no way to close them quietly the way they are designed. All night and throughout the early morning, I heard loud slamming. People were also having trouble getting into their rooms, so you could hear the loud repeated turning of the door handles and finally slamming. This was annoying and disruptive. I could also hear people scraping the metal patio furniture as they moved it, and people walking around the gravel on the terrace walkway, and playing fetch with their dogs at dawn (I am not a morning person). Speaking of dogs, I brought mine with me (and paid a hefty pet fee), but this isn't really a "pet friendly" hotel. Aside from a small potty spot, you have to take your dog off property for walks/bathroom breaks. As a side note, you have to valet your car here, which wasn't an issue for me. However, the valets were very slow and confused. I think they were overwhelmed and understaffed. They gave me a ticket, then forgot my keys. Then forgot which car was mine. Then didn't bring it up after I texted ahead to get it. It was a struggle. Overall, I think this is a quality hotel, and if you're not noise-sensitive, you will have a 5 star experience.

Yelp
My husband and I just stayed three nights in this hotel and every single detail was perfect. The staff was very kind, our room was immaculate with beautiful view, the restaurant was absolutely wonderful with live music and outstanding wait staff. The location is outstanding and conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. We attended an ELO concert and the stadium was really nice and efficiently organized. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend Hotel Paseo.

Yelp
We stayed for a weekend. 5 couples in total, all booked separately. Upon arrival, the hotel is modern and clean. We were offered a luggage cart that we were to load from the valet into our rooms ourselves. Okay, I guess, no big deal?. My group checked in at different times and were all told we were getting "upgraded". 3 couples got a pool view and the rest got "mountain view" but really it was a view of the parking structure for the shopping plaza across the street. One couple was offered champagne/sparkling wine at check-in. In some rooms, the Evian bottled waters were tagged differently, $9 and $9.99 in the same room. Some of the complimentary toiletries in my room were also partially filled, leaving me to assume they were used. Aside from having a comfortable sleeping environment, the hotel service is inconsistent and leaving me dissatisfied with the experience. For the price point, Hotel Paseo is a mirage in the desert, looks great aesthetically, but when you look at the details or compare the service, it's disappointing. Larkspur Grill as the only dining option is equally lacking.

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoy staying here! I had a work conference at the nearby Omni Resort, which was sold out so we stayed at the Hotel Paseo. While I was irritated to not be staying at the hotel the conference was at, any annoyance quickly dissipated after checking into Hotel Paseo! LIKES: + Complimentary valet parking + Charged my vehicle while parked in valet + Hotel staff was great! + Rooms were clean & very nicely decorated + Beds were so comfortable!!!! + REALLY cool outdoor area with a putting green and other games + There's a really cool vintage car in the lobby you can take a picture in. DISLIKES: - No room service - No bathtub - Doors slamming late at night waking me up (but that's expected) The positives totally outweigh the negatives so I would highly recommend Hotel Paseo!

Yelp
Love the location, the people service was fantastic, love the bartenders . Our room had a great patio everything is clean Best part is being able to walk to dinner and and shopping!

Yelp
My wife and I stayed here for one night and can't say enough good things about this property. The staff was very friendly and exceptionally accommodating. The property is very clean, we particularly loved the comfort of the bed and quality of the sheets. The location is very good just across the street from a nice mall and along Paseo storefronts with plenty of dining options as well. Note that the property is valet only which is fine, but there is no self accessible parking (other than parking on the street). Not an issue for us, but thought a visitor might want to know before booking. We were so happy we decided to book another stay here and this will be our go-to property whenever we're in the area. A+ and highly recommended!

Yelp
Same tired, decorations, same tired red car in the middle of the lobby. It's hot this time of year and they are understaffed. No Wi-Fi in the room, had to check in manually because of the nationwide wi-Fi. Tried to get dinner in the Larkspur restaurant, the manager rushed me to the bar, but I did not want to sit at the bar. So it was a bit of a fistfight to get to sit at the table. He was ushering me that way because they were understaffed, and there was really no one to serve dinner. So I walked across the street to Tommy Bahama. The main reason this hotel gets three stars, is their beds are so freaking unbelievably comfortable. Very soft and fluffy, I would stay here just for the beds.

Yelp
How does it get better, well at least for me, this was great. YELP Short Answer: Yes a great place, a little expensive but you get what you pay for, you can walk anywhere in the middle of it all. Down buying a home in the desert and wanted to stay someplace fun. Well there was a lot of happening, maybe a little too much for me at the pool but it was entertaining to watch... Lobby: nicely done you will be impressed. Staff: Yea, like the best ever. Trace was so helpful, what a great asset to the brand, nice job you all made me feel at home. Rooms: not huge but really nice, clean, and functional. I had a room with a balcony and great views. Things to do: Yes shopping until your card/s melt and excellent food options like Larkspur. Value: For me, great value but make sure you check all charges prior to making a reservations, they have a few fees... for like parking and such and I heard a couple checking out going nuts over these fees, it was like $44.00 so whatever. The stay was excellent.

Denell P.

Yelp
I cannot speak highly enough about this hotel and their staff! We just had a conference at the Hotel Paseo this week and loved everything about it!! From the beginning tour with Ryan, to the room blocks with Steve and planning process with Miles, everything was great!! Ricardo, Lady and the rest of their banquet staff and bartender were all amazing during our event. The staff was accommodating in all of our requests and were willing to work with us. The hotel rooms were nice and clean. If you're looking to have an event here, or just stay for fun, I would 100% recommend Hotel Paseo!

Yelp
I just spent the past four days at this beautiful place. Its proximity to everything made it by far the best hotel in the desert. The staff was terrific, with top-notch hospitality. Able, Vanessa, Beth, Mateo, Trent, and Neil all provided exceptional service. Also, I want to give a shout-out to Trent's dog, George Michael. I can't wait to get back.

Yelp
Booked a last minute trip over the holiday weekend. Overall, the hotel was great for a last minute getaway. Pros: Location! In the heart of Palm Desert's El Paseo shopping and dining district. Cleanliness - The hotel is well maintained and the room was clean and comfortable. It is a newer hotel and still feels new. Service - Everyone was friendly and helpful. Really appreciate the lady at the front desk Shuttle service - Really nice perk! They drove us to dinner and picked us up!! Love when hotels offer this service. Cons: AC was a little loud overnight. Water pressure was low in the room. The pool was INSANE. They need a pool double the size. There was also a shortage of pool chairs and service at the pool. There were empty drink cups all over. Tons of floaties. Impossible to relax in a confined space.

Redondo S.

Yelp
The walls are paper thin. People party to all hours of the night. If you actually need to sleep and need a quiet room do NOT stay here. Choose another hotel. If you want to party all night and not get sleep this is the hotel. Followed up with front desk mgr and both security and front desk apparently had to bang on upstairs door to get the to turn down their music, they wouldn't answer so they had to go outside and scream at them to their balcony turn it down. This hotel is one big frat party, you will be lucky to get any sleep. The Renaissance down the street is so much nicer, I will never stay at this place again.

Cheryl D.

Yelp
Exceptional boutique hotel, excellent location, attentive and professional staffing, superb housekeeping, and all in all, a very well-managed hotel. Welcoming valet attendants and front desk group. Upgraded room with double-paned balcony sliders. No noise. Very clean, well-appointed king-size bed room overlooking pool area. Would definitely book another visit. Property is part of Marriott Bonvoy rewards program. Highly recommend Hotel Paseo for visitors to the Palm Desert area.

Yelp
The bed and linens were very comfortable and I appreciated having a USB outlet on both sides of the bed. There is a mini fridge on the lefty side, a Keurig coffee maker in the center and an internet friendly smart TV and an area to set up a laptop. Huge shower with great water pressure, bathrobe, and nice toiletries included in the bathroom. It took me a day to figure out how to turn on the lighting around the large mirror though ;) The hallways were decorated with unique pieces from different artists, and the blue wave one was my favorite. I got a ground level room in front of the pool ,and even though access to the pool could not be had directly from the patio, it was nice to have the view. No one was ever in the pool but a few people did use the large jacuzzi and the seating around the fire pits. It was hard to capture the infinity water cascade with the fire, but I can say that it was beautiful both in the daylight and at night. I would definitely stay here again for it's location steps away from El Paseo, across from a very nice small mall, great places to eat within a block, and staff that personified customer service (the woman who checked me in, saw me try to get ice at the cafe 5 minutes after they closed, and she got it for me!). Rates were in the $300 range per night once you added up all the taxes, fees, and charges (parking, wifi, shuttle). If you download the Marriott app, you can navigate your stay a bit more easily with check in / out and requests for services. Yelp
Booked two rooms recently for a friend and I. My room was quiet and the A/C system worked great. The shower is outstanding. Staff, especially front desk needs a little training to be more responsive to guest questions and issues. The next morning housekeeping briefly knocked on my door at 8 AM and then entered the room whilst I was still waking up! When I mentioned this to the front desk guy at checkout, he just shrugged and grinned and said nothing. BTW, the valet guys were awesome, very courteous and professional.

Yelp
Great spot, right in the heart of the action in Palm Desert. Nice rooms, excellent views. Both Trent and Neil, bartenders at this location, were incredible. Thank you for the great experience, highly recommend staying here.

Yelp
Came for a "Solo Start the Summer" weekend and really liked it. The room was a good size for 1-2 people. The bathroom was BIG. Everything was comfortable. While I liked the pool, it was pretty small given the size of the hotel. It got crowded pretty quick. Pool food was great. The gym was solid. Great location on El Paseo.

We stayed here for the second time and it was great as always! The entire staff is friendly and accommodating. Trent from the cafe was excellent. I asked for a mocha, which wasn't on the menu, and he ran to find some chocolate to make it. He needs a raise!

Yelp
Nice boutique style hotel powered by Marriott. It has a nice courtyard area in the back complete with lounge chairs, fire pits and umbrellas. A very relaxing environment. There is also a ping pong table and Cornhole game setup. The room was beautiful, a comfy enough bed (a bit soft for my taste, but only because I have a preference for very firm beds) and came with all the amenities necessary along with a tiny refrigerator and coffee maker. Valet parking is free and the staff is very friendly. The only downside was one of the employees I chatted with over the phone who had a very lackluster demeanor. When I shared with him that he put me on hold for over 10 minutes, without picking up once so that I had to call back, he simply replied with, "Ok." I get it. People in customer service are miserable and only want to deal with people for so long. But it's very odd seeing people sign up for a job and then not wanting to handle the the very basic duties that come with said job. That said, the same employee did set me up with a room that had a pool view when it was not mandatory. I like to give credit where it's due. The housekeeping staff were very loud in the hallway and slammed the doors shut to the neighboring rooms while I was trying to sleep extra due to a nasty allergy attack I experienced. But, again, I have to give credit to the front desk staff as they were kind enough to reverse one day's of the resort fees. Again, I will give credit to anyone who helps make up for anything. Other than the aforementioned, the staff was very accommodating across the board. The girl who works overnights at the front desk (Sorry. I cannot remember her name.) was kind enough to light up one of the fire pits after the other ones went off due to the automatic timer. She definitely helped my evening much more comfortable. Overall, I would say Paseo Hotel is well worth it and probably THE BEST "bang for buck" of any four star hotel I've stayed at. And I would say there is a very good chance that I will return for a nice weekend getaway. Hope this helps. Be well everyone.

Yelp
Such a charming hotel! I have stayed there twice and they truly don't miss any details. The housekeeping staff is just lovely and the decor is so cute! The rooms are clean and there's a cafe in the lobby for coffee and a restaurant on the side. The location of the hotel is perfect for walking around and valet is included in your room price! Love this charming spot.

Yelp
Wow is all I can say about this place. This place is a hidden gem in the most perfect location. My entire stay from the moment i checked in was wonderful. We were able to lay by the pool and have lunch while our room was getting ready. Room was perfect, we were upgraded to a balcony room over looking the pool. I will be back again for sure. Highly recommend!! 10/10 best hotel in palm desert!

Yelp
we had a wonderful stay from Oct 14-16 2022. The premier ground floor room we had was perfect and incredibly clean. Lucas at the front desk was quick to respond to my chat message within Bonvoy app. He gave us a great room . We checked in online and it made arriving easy . We were offered champagne upon arriving . Champagne is served daily 1-5 pm I think . I never got any because we were too busy to stop to partake . We went to the Kenny Loggins concert at The Show. The hotel was very quiet and clean and close to El Paseo shopping. It's around the corner . Go to the Fix for breakfast around the corner . Yum !! The hotel king bed was super comfortable and the bedding was perfect . No thin blanket that you feel cold with . We had a nice comforter , sheets and 4 king size feather pillows , big LG Tv and nice large shower . The whole stay was perfect .

Yelp
I love everything about this Hotel! What a great location adjacent to El Paseo shopping and restaurants. This place has the best feel, outdoor pool, large hot-tub (that is a very popular hangout), and gym. If they had apartments, I would move in. BTW: If you are not familiar, El Paseo is the Rodeo Drive of the Desert. Nothing like it! Imagine my day: I wake up, room service delivers my Egg White Veggie Omelet and Blueberry Pancakes. Take a swim, hit the hot tub, and ride the bike in the gym. Go across the street and buy some Jewelry at Tiffany's for my friends and family, go next door to Gucci and pick up some new shoes and a belt, then next door to Sax 5th Ave for a new Hugo Boss suit, jeans, and accessories and then lunch at Mastros Steakhouse just a couple of blocks away. On the way back I buy some art at one of the many galleries that line El Paseo. Before 3PM I already spent $10,000! Now keep imagining--because I can't afford that! In fact, I did not not even pay for my hotel room at Hotel Paseo--I am fortunate to have a friend who invited and hosted me at the Hotel. I have no idea how much it cost, I am sure it's less than 1K a night, but it's sure a nice modern easy in and out place to stay. And let me tell you something: Couples love this hotel. Can't tell you how many couples I saw coming back from shopping on El Paseo walking to their rooms, down the corridor, holding hands, giving each other that look...you know....that look of wait till we close that door...don't get in our way... Now, if you are a picky poo, you may find some faults. I was not bothered that they forgot to deliver soaps I ordered on the phone or the fact that housekeeping left a small face bar of soap in the shower instead of the larger shower bar. I did not mind that there was a delay at check in. When you are on El Paseo all those concerns and worries melt away. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Yelp
I recently stayed at Hotel Paseo for three nights. I was in town for some work in Palm Springs, which is 20-30 minutes from here, but the drive was worth it. Hotel Paseo provided a super comfortable, clean, and beautiful getaway from my long days at work... Staff was friendly and attentive to my needs. I didn't get to visit the spa or restaurant, but I did take a lovely yoga class early on a Friday morning... Valet was quick and easy with their "text when you are ready for your car" service... The fitness room was perfect for my needs, as was the Starbucks cafe onsite. My room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom toiletries and amenities were worthy of the five stars I'm giving for this review. I wish I would have had more time during my trip to shop and explore in the area, but the fact that I didn't was probably good for my pocketbook ;) That being said, I hope to return sooner than later and when I do, I would 100% stay at Hotel Paseo again!

Yelp
It is getting harder and harder to decide on a favorite place to stay in the Coachella Valley. Last weekend, the Mrs. and I did another overnighter this time to Palm Desert. We've stayed at the Ingleside Inn and Caliente Tropics in Palms Springs, and the Miramonte Resort in Indian Wells. This time, we wanted to try Palm Desert and my wife was able to book the Hotel Paseo through Priceline. We arrived on Saturday afternoon around 2 after having lunch a Taq/Quila in Palm Springs. Valet parking was free so that is always a good sign for me. Checking in was quick. I would say not even 10 minutes and the gentleman who check us in offered what he said was one of their special rooms that has a bathtub in the room itself. Naturally, we said yes and were assigned room 122. Room 122 is conveniently located on the first floor directly across from the fitness center and within stumbling distance of the pool bar and the pool. The room is large with a king bed and a large bathroom with a walk in shower. The bathtub is located in the room. So you can soak and watch Netflix. I took a soak in the tub just because it was there and I could. The Hotel Paseo has several amenities. There are two bars. One small bar by the pool and the larger one at the restaurant, AC3. We parked ourselves at the pool bar and enjoyed a few drinks and the beautiful weather. The service at the pool bar was great. Also, we were able to check out the pool area. It isn't a very large pool, but for the size of the hotel, it makes sense. Also, there is a pool attendant. Something that my wife and I feel EVERY resort that has a pool or pools needs. The pool attendant worked her rear end off and didn't stop moving in the hour or so we were there. When someone would get up and leave, she would move their towel and replace it with a fresh one. And she would roll up towels on chairs so you knew which seats were available. She also picked up empty cups, plates, trash, you name it. That pool area was clean. Inside the lobby of the hotel, you'll notice how modern the decor is, yet it jives well with the Mid-Century Modern vibe that the area is going for. There is even a 55 Cadillac Convertible in the lobby. There is also a lot of art and the seating areas are very comfortable. Also, you can't beat the location. You are within walking distance to the shops and restaurants on El Paseo. The Hotel Paseo puts off a welcoming vibe for everyone. There were families with young kids, older people, etc. Sometimes I walk into a hotel and immediately get the vibe that kids are tolerated, but not welcome. There were no issues with the staff. Service was incredible. The bartender at the pool bar was so nice and did a great job at making each guest feel like they were the only one at the pool. The two ladies that worked at the coffee bar the next morning were so friendly and the front desk staff was helpful and efficient. Even the valets were nice. I really want to go back to the Hotel Paseo. I miss it already.

Yelp
The hotel (building) is great. Beautiful, comfortable and very comfortable. Almost everyone working there is really nice and friendly. So....why the 2 stars? #1 - as a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum for Life status customer, I find the $36/day 'Destination/Resort Fee' to be a HUGE slap in the face for loyalty. I didn't park a car, High-Speed WiFi is complimentary for Gold and higher Bonvoy. #2 - Michael at the Front Desk. I found him to be condescending and either a liar or poorly trained as far as policies go. So...those 2 things left such a bad taste in my experience, I am deducting 3 stars. If you don't mind wasting an extra $36/day on junk fees, and you don't have to deal with Michael at the Front Desk, it's a great place with great food and great people.

Yelp
My wife and I just spent a great weekend at this hotel for the first time. I really enjoyed the hotel! The bar and restaurant are extremely cool; the food was great as well as the drinks. The shower was huge, and one of the best I've ever used. My wife and I both really had a great time. We will be patronizing Hotel Paseo again in the Fall!
