Overall, a really nice property. Checking in was a breeze and I was greeted with enthusiasm and above average courtesy. Cool lobby area with a classic Cadillac adorning the entrance, inside.
Room was very clean, spacious, and well appointed (common for most Autograph "branded" hotels). All the other aspects were as expected, maybe even slightly above average.
One detractor, and not the fault or strict responsibility of the hotel management/operation, the bar.
Sat at the bar for dinner. Took a few minutes to get recognized as a new patron, but met with apologies for the delay. Food was very good (had the ahi tuna appetizer and the salmon), and the service was quick.
It was, however, extremely loud. There was a live band, and one local person who was exceptionally loud, and, on the whole, blatantly disrespectful to everyone within a few yards. That person eventually left, I witnessed some sidebar conversation from the managers about cutting off his alcohol and encouraging them to move on, but the whole experience was pretty awful (I'm pretty thick skinned, and this patron was way over the top with language and lack of respect for normal boundaries).
As expected with the region, the demographic and majority of the people in the bar/restaurant area are older, likely retired people, all there to enjoy the live music.
I will return to the hotel. With the exception of the dining experience, the hotel was quiet, clean, well appointed, and comfortable. I will find someplace else to dine, though.
