Good location within ten mins walk to train and bus stations; five mins to Cathedral. Two Bdrm apartment was very functional; perfect for our needs; noise levels were good too. My only suggestion would be provision of washing machine detergent and milk.

Less than one minute walking to the main square where the cathedral is located. We found ourselves being just about a maximum of 15 minutes walking of every location of interest in the city. Service was excellent. Great value for the price.

Well situated hotel, only a stroll from the train station and central for getting around Cadiz. Nice spacious room with rooftop terrace facing the cathedral.|Nice bathroom with good shower and good range of toiletries.|Decent continental breakfast in the morning with good coffee.|Walking distance to a large selection of bars and restaurants and easy access to Caleta and Victoria beaches.

Horrible experience. Due to construction noise across the street we requested both hotel and booking to find us another room. Everything was fully booked but hotel put a letter in our room that we had to leave ASAP (?). I went to talk to the receptionist who was super sarcastic and unfriendly, I said we didn't want to leave we just want a solution. We made an agreement but next day the hotel owner called me in the room as soon as I entered the hotel. He told me to come downstairs and to get aside in a seperate room. He started yelling at me, shaking of anger that we made him trouble because we asked booking to help. He told us to leave immediately while all red with veins pounding in his neck. He said we didn't cancel our request to change hotel with booking (which we did, I even showed them on my phone). I work with psychiatric patients and yet never have I been spoken to in such a rude and terrifying way. I felt nervous and scared. Instead of trying to find a solution he just blamed us for complaining and threatened to put us on the street. Not one apologize after I showed him we canceled our request with booking.

I stayed at Hotel Patagonia Sur for three nights late in August – my stay would have been longer if the ‘Small Penthouse’ room had been available for another two nights. As it was, I moved on to Jerez. ||||Other reviewers of this room, and indeed, the hotel’s own accurate description and photographs, describe this room as compact, it is, but this is more than compensated by the magnificent private terrace looking directly toward the cathedral towers and dome, over the adjacent rooftops. The bathroom – bath with powerful shower over - is of a decent size. As I have said on another platform, MY opinion (and I hope the hotel will forgive me repeating this) is that this room, sold as a single, would benefit from having a single bed allowing a bedside drawer unit for clothes storage, which is currently very limited by the installed double bed. There are only two rooms on the 5th. floor level and so it is very quiet. No noise whatsoever from the adjacent lift. ||||The location of the hotel is absolutely first class, steps away from Cathedral Square and an easy 10 minute walk from Cadiz railway station. I did not take breakfast but wish I had. The place is spotless, the reception staff friendly and helpful and the housemaids are lovely. Should this room be available for my next visit, I would not hesitate to return.||||With regard to Cadiz as a destination – I have NEVER enjoyed a Spanish city more. Please stay away, I do not want this place to get more popular.||||Score 4.5 out of 5.

Nice outward appearance and our room was available for check in. Nice room with king bed, lamps and plugs on both sides of bed. Nice table, with lamp and coffee pot and fixings. Plenty of room for working on electronics. Wi-Fi works well. Two luggage racks, very unusual. One full wall of cabinet space with safe. Refrigerator under the desk. Spouse was not happy with the tub/shower combination, but management put strips of non-slip material on the tub floor. Bathroom nice size. Breakfast costs 5 Euro each and is inclusive, probably better||then we can do on the street.

Lovely hotel tucked into the lanes right by the Cathedral. Friendly and welcoming owners and staff. Spotlessly clean and equipped - even with a kettle in our room! Breakfast choices excellent. We had room 52 - the best in the hotel with a large roof terrace over looking the Cathedral with a gentle sea breeze! You can see the yellow sun loungers on the roof terrace from the top of the Cathedral bell tower!!

Yelp
Moldy bathroom, room like a prison cell in size, charm, and lighting. I got stuck here for a night due to all the hotels in Cadiz being full unexpectedly. Maybe the worst hotel experience of my life.

Yelp
Nice, cosy hotel, good value for money. Very clean, friendly front desk. Stayed here for 1 night while in Cadiz. Located in the old town, minutes away from the Cathedral. Rooms are decent sized and quiet. They have a cafeteria/bar open till 11 pm, we stopped for a cup of coffee on our way out. Car parking is in a city/public garage approx 3 blocks away. We were able to walk everywhere and felt safe.
