Hotel Perico Azul Jaco

The owner is super nice and helpful. The rooms are very clean and vibe of the place is great. It's off the main drag, so its quiet, but close enough to walk to the action. Lisa helped me with buses and sight seeing. She even discounted my rate slightly based on availability. The owner's husband gives tours and surfing lessons in his person al vehicle as well. I would 100% come back here.

My best friend and I had a blast while staying here. The staff is super friendly and the rooms were very comfortable and cozy to stay in. On the day of our check-out we had decided to stay longer in Jacó. When the manager noticed that all the rooms were fully booked, he arranged for us to stay in the large penthouse apartment, without added charges!Needless to say you won't find that kind of hospitality anywhere else. I can't wait to visit CR again; will surely be staying at Perico Azul every time I visit Jacó. 10/10 recommend!

This place is located in a quiet area walking distance to the beach. Connie is very kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. I would definitely reccomend this hotel if you want a quiet affordable place to stay in Jaco. They also have beach bikes you can rent for 15.00 a day.

This hotel and its humanity is what makes life worth living. I was at another hotel last night in the Centro and the bar music just wouldn’t stop. So I picked up the phone and called this hotel at literally midnight. Manrique not only picked up the phone but agreed to come around and give me a room. When he heard that I had already paid the other hotel, he even threw a nice discount. This is the real Pura Vida spirit of this country that makes it so worth it! The hotel itself is impeccably clean. I haven’t seen cleaner linen than this! Everything is just impeccable including the internet. I am thinking of spending a month at this hotel when I return later this year! Pura Vida! Merci!

Nice lovely hotel with cozy well equipped rooms. There was an air conditioning, little fridge, 2 comfortable beds, small table with chair and a wardrobe in my room. Bathroom was also well equipped and the water supply was good. There is also a table outside in front of the room and the yard is nice. Some furniture and equipment are a little bit old, but everything is perfectly clean. ||It took me just about 5 minutes to get to the beach and a 10-15 minutes walk to the main street with cafés. ||People, who work at the hotel, are kind and friendly. There was Soll, who checked me in, she was great 🙂 and also she runs yoga classes, which should be very interesting. Unfortunately I didn’t have enough time in Jacó to join.

Hotel Perico Azul was my favorite place to ever stay in Costa Rica- and this was my 5th trip! The boutique style rooms are cozy and adorable. The pool was sparkling clean and refreshing. We were treated very well by staff- like family. I loved the shared kitchen and having a min-fridge in our room. They provided towels to take to the beach, and the beach was a short 5 minute walk. The hotel is gated and we felt very comfortable and safe. We even cancelled our hotel in Manuel Antonio just to stay another 2 nights at Perico Azul. We will be back!!!

This hotel was for me the best place to stay in Jaco (see my previous ratings). It was managed by a French lady. Everything was well managed, the rooms were nicely decorated, there was always a hibiscus flower in the bath room. The pool area was nicely decorated. It was quiet and clean. This is all gone now. Strange guests are at the property, a family with a kid smoking marihuana in the pool. Also the guy who welcomed us at the property acted stoned. I will not come back.

The place is gorgeous ! Celine was nice enough to take us on the spot when we had to leave our previous place. The rooms are comfortable, have AC and a fan and a fridge. The courtyard with the pool is really cute and the shared areas are really clean. The kitchen has everything you need. It’s 5 min driving from downtown and only 5 min away walking from the beach. The hotel has great wifi and is quiet. I highly recommend for travelers working remotely like us!
