One star is too much for this filthy hotel. There is dirt every where, the rooms are not cleaned properly or cleaned at all, there is mold on the bathroom ceiling, the air conditioner is not working and also is full of dust. I requested to change the rooms 2 times, the third one was fine, but this in comparison with the previous rooms.

I have stayed at this hotel 4 years ago and now I thought to pay another visit....very bad choise. In 4 years nothing was improved, but on the contrary everything is degraded and needs urgent repairs. Rooms are very little (which I knew), dirty windows, very old wardrobe, old bathroom. Breakfast is an economic one with bad quality products, bad smell in the reception area. The restaurant terrace is nice! Never again here! |Sadly, I notice a big indifference of the romanian hotels managers!

The rooms are not all renovated, the hotel's workers, including the receptionists do not know what a smiley face is, all are grumpy and do things only if you ask twice or aks for the hotel manager.||||No noise protection windows- for the evening you can hear all the noise from the very low budget locations in the nearby that play bad live music(manele) up to 4 AM.||||No place to go with small kids - no safety guaranteed for the foodcourt area. ||poor offer and poor service for it.

Walking by the hotel I stayed in years ago, I saw that some renovations have been made, but of course more work needs to be done. For me, this place is a major memory-ladened place in Mamaia since I first stayed back in the 1980s. And it is still a marvelously located hotel close to the main beach front itself and dozens of restaurants and clubs and other fashionable hotels. It is a reasonable proced hotel and maybe it always will be in this price-range and therefore will always be a bit less polished, but for local families with kids who love the water park nearby, it's convenient.

Pros: reasonable prices, good and diverse breakfast and close to the beach. Cons: Unfriedly staff, dirty inside/outside the hotel, they came to clean rooms every 3 days which meant sand on the floor and dirty/wet towels for 3 days, no place to put the soap in the shower, we set it on the floor, old matresses that caused one of us serious sleep issues,no ventilation in the bathroom. The hotel doesn´t look very good in reality and it is highly overrated.

Worst experience ever at a hotel in Mamaia. Since it's a three star hotel you expect at least a decent bathroom. There were no investments made since the i think 30 years ago, the matress is old and hard, with big hole in the middle, furniture has a funny smell, there is no balcony and no net at the window, bugs run free, also the window has no option to lower it back for fresh air, only to let it wide open. The food has no taste, and looks weird, and if you are unfortunate like myself, to go in the middle of the lunch time, you will end up with leftovers ( they don't refill unless you go and make a scene like I did). The hotel has 11 floors and 10-15 rooms on each, yes a big hotel but only one of three working elevators. One elevator for 120-130 rooms, they must really care about your health since you will be forced to go up and down the stairs if you dont want to wait in line 30 min get to your room. What else can I say, no parking places, the girl at the reception said, park whereever you want. I must select 1 star otherwise it wont allow me to post this review, however they dont deserve it.

And old very popular in the past hotel. Right now it is a third category hotel with good price during summer season. Close to the beach and food courtyard.
