We’ve just returned from a wonderfully relaxing week at Hotel Perla in Herceg Novi – our first visit, but certainly not our last.||What mattered most to us was the location: somewhere peaceful to relax and unwind, yet only a short stroll into town. The views from the hotel’s dock were absolutely stunning, and we never had a problem finding a sunbed. There’s also a lovely little spa area with a pool, loungers, and a sauna – perfect for switching off.||Breakfast offered a great variety and set us up well for the day, and we found all the staff to be friendly and helpful throughout our stay.||A 25-minute walk, along the lovely promenade, in one direction takes you to the beautiful old town, full of character and excellent restaurants – especially if you love fresh seafood (you’re in for a treat!). A 15-minute walk the other way brings you to a marina with a handful of nice restaurants and bars.||During our week we also ventured further afield, taking a bus to Kotor to enjoy the cable car, and joining a boat trip out to the Blue Cave – both well worth it.||All in all, Hotel Perla was the perfect base for a relaxing week, and we’re already looking forward to returning.
