Discrimination and dishonest behavior toward non-local guests!
We stayed at this hotel as paying guests with a half-board package. During our stay, we noticed consistent discrimination between local-speaking guests and foreigners.
Waiters ignored us completely while over-serving those who spoke their native language. Our table was always missing basic items like cutlery, napkins, or condiments, which we had to ask for every day — while local guests had fully prepared tables.
On our last night, I arrived early to get a nice sea-view table for dinner. Despite being a hotel guest and planning to dine as usual, I was told I could not sit there unless I ordered from the à la carte menu — although I was already ordering drinks.
When I insisted I was a paying guest, the manager joined in and lied, claiming the table was reserved. There was no reservation sign before, but as I was speaking, a waiter silently placed one behind me.
This was humiliating and dishonest. I left the restaurant and had dinner elsewhere.
I do not recommend this hotel to non-local tourists who expect equal treatment and respect.
Hospitality should not be based on language or tips. Shame on this management.
