An absolute hotel to avoid. I am beyond disappointed with my stay at this so-called 3-star hotel. It doesn’t deserve even a single star in my opinion. The experience started with a cold, indifferent welcome. The receptionist, likely more focused on her phone than on the guests, barely acknowledged me. For an establishment that claims to be "high-end," this kind of attitude is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the hotel was under construction. I booked this place hoping for a peaceful, relaxing stay, but instead, I was subjected to nonstop noise from drills, hammers, and other construction sounds throughout the day. This was never mentioned when I made the reservation. If you're going to disturb your guests with renovations, at least make it clear beforehand. Complete disregard for the comfort and peace of the guests. The room was nothing short of a nightmare. It felt more like a rundown motel than a 3-star hotel. The furnishings were outdated, the bed was uncomfortable, and the cleanliness was appalling. The floor was sticky, and dust was everywhere. It’s hard to believe this hotel even has "cleaning services." What’s most frustrating is that, instead of focusing on the guests' comfort, the management seems more interested in cutting corners and saving money. The renovations seemed to be done with no care for the guests who are paying to stay there. In summary, this hotel doesn’t deserve its stars or the money I spent. I would strongly advise anyone to stay far away from this place if you're looking for basic comfort, peace, and respect. I’d rather have slept in my car. Far from a relaxing destination, this hotel is a nightmare

Not worth it at all. This place pretends to be fancy, like a 5 star hotel, but it's barely a 3 star at best. My room was tiny seriously, there was barely enough space to walk around the bed. The receptionist (especially this one rude secretary) had a terrible attitude and was super unhelpful. On top of that, the hotel is under construction, so there's constant noise all day long. No chance of getting any rest. For the price, you can definitely find way better places.

Ugly Hotel, Terrible Service, and Noisy Construction I highly recommend avoiding this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the reception was disastrous—unfriendly and uninterested staff who barely acknowledged me. The room was awful, outdated, and poorly maintained. It didn’t match anything I expected, especially for the price. On top of the unattractive hotel, there were ongoing construction works throughout the building, causing constant and unbearable noise, even at late hours. It was impossible to relax, unwind, or sleep properly. This is an experience I’d like to forget, and I will definitely not be returning. Stay away!

Well we booked the most expensive room in the hotel on top floor. We loved the room. I give 4 starts bc would be nice to know before we booked that hotel under construction! When it will be done - hotel will be superb place (I saw pictures before and I see now after better with each day). We heard no noise bc the working now on -1 floor. The access to elevator but it can fit two people or 1 person with the luggage it is very small! I loved the location !!!! Near park near metro! It is no nosy at all at the evenings! I would not have breakfast there bc it is literally in the corridor with the reception (not ready yet) in the corner of the corridor. Hope it will be better when renovations are done. I suppose the stairs will be renovated as well. So my advice - ask if renovations is still in place (we were staying 3 nights in June 2025). There are plenty of places to have breakfast 🥞 it is Paris after all :) so I am pleased with this place !!!

Me and my girlfriend had been staying in this hotel for one night only, while renovation works were in progress. As I see now many recent reviews mentioning the ongoing renovation. Yes, it is still on site. But that didn’t really bother us as we had no problem with water supply, heating, access to elevator etc. 🛌Apartment: Yes, the room was pretty small, but as I heard it’s common for Paris. We had a big double bed in our room, as well as a table and two chairs. The apartment was very clean at the time of our arrival. 🍳Breakfast: Due to the renovation works breakfast is served to the room. We were given a paper to choose what we wanted to get. Next day when we got our breakfast not all of our wishes were fulfilled. To be more precise, there was a lack of one portion of yoghurt, as well as some pieces of sausage. As the apartment wasn’t big enough, we had to enjoy our breakfast sitting on the bed. 📞Reception and Check In / Out: The check-in process usually happens at 14:00, but we were late for about 30-40 minutes. At the reception we were checked-in in a minute with no problem at all. I really thank the young woman receptionist for her help and involvement. We experienced nothing but the best attitude. At the checkout we asked to store our luggage till the evening, so we would have no need to keep it with us the whole day. The receptionist kindly took our luggage and we were hand-free till almost 20:00. ❌Drawbacks: The biggest drawback we experienced is the very thin apartment front door. There is a play in the doorway, so the door is easily moved by air flows. Also, the soundproof isn’t particularly strong (for the door). We were able to hear people in the hall, as well as they could hear us. Overall experience is good. The hotel is located right next to Jardin du Luxemburg, which gives you a lot of options to walk and explore the surrounding.

I booked this hotel hoping for a pleasant stay, but unfortunately, it was far from that. Upon arrival, I discovered the hotel was undergoing renovations, with no prior notice. The noise and disruption really affected my experience, making it much less enjoyable. What also made my stay difficult was the reception. The receptionist was rude, no politeness, no smile, and it felt like I was more of an inconvenience than a guest. This is really disappointing, especially for a 3 star hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially if you’re looking for a peaceful stay and quality service…

Our expectations were high when reading the reviews and checking the hotel’s website. The location being so close to the Jardin Du Luxembourg is the only positive part of our experience. The hotel is under construction and should be closed during the renovations or at least mention it at the time of booking with a massive discount. The receptionist was extremely inattentive, forgot to give us vital information and should consider a career change. The room was tiny to say the least with absolutely no view at all which made us feel caged in. Surfaces and items were dusty and cleanliness was an issue. Due to the fact that the breakfast room was under construction, we had breakfast served in the room without having a table nor chairs and just the bed to sit on. Highly disappointing experience and not recommended, even if it’s just for one night. A total waste of money.

Worst hotel experience I was deeply disappointed with this hotel. Right from the start, the receptionist was rude and unprofessional, warming herself with a radiator in a cold, dusty space. Although check-in was scheduled for 2pm, we were only checked in at 3:30pm. At check-out, which is normally at 12pm, we requested an extension of just one hour, until 1pm. However, the receptionist told us that we would have to pay for another night for this. When we arrived back at the hotel at 12:55pm, we were not allowed to enter the room to retrieve our luggage. Our belongings were thrown into suitcases by the staff without us being present, and now we don't even know if we were missing anything. The reception was cold, drafty and unkempt. The kitchen was in an open space, shared with the renovation works, and food was left uncovered, which raises serious questions about hygiene. Breakfast was served in the room, where there was not even a table or chairs. Trays of food were left on the stairs, next to the trash cans, before being taken to the rooms - a completely unacceptable sight for a hotel. Due to the deplorable hygienic conditions, we did not eat anything that was offered. It is unacceptable for a hotel to treat its guests like this and ignore standards of hygiene and professionalism. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The experience was simply disastrous!

Yelp
Location Location Location.. easy walk to most everything and Metro, Luxembourg gardens as well. Nice staff, spoke english, and very helpful. Given its location and age it is a bit small by modern standards, but you get what you pay for. After recent experiences with overpriced bigger hotels and poor beds and poor wifi.. This quaint hotel with nice beds and perfect wifi was a refreshing change.

Yelp
This is the quintessential Paris two star hotel. Comfortable bed and shower with good water pressure. Might be best location in the City of Light. Helpful front desk staff too.

Yelp
I feel this is the best location in Paris!! It is located on a residential side street behind the Luxembourg gardens. But yet a few blocks and you have all the shops, Restaurants and hustle of Paris. There is a great cafe shop across the street and a little Monop grocery for food and wine run just down the street!! We found it too late and ended up walking to the over priced Bon Marche. The rooms are sufficient and Paris small but enough space for 2 luggages and 2 carry on. There is no iron available in the Hotel. The shower is quite tight but fine. The beds were comfy with sufficient comforter. The little balcony was sweet. The room off the entrance for sitting also has tables if you want to eat down there with your own food. They were very accommodating when our flight didn't leave till 9pm. We put our luggage in a luggage room and came back to freshen up with the washroom they offered to us. Also a petit (15x30 ft) sandwich/cafe shop is just outside the Hotel approx 100 meters, so close and so cute with best Cappuccino we had in Paris. And at that corner is a bus stop!! Amazingly close for a side street. I believe bus 96 stops right there and voila, you are home! Great location and not bad rooms, with free wifi! Enjoy!
